What is the TopSpeed Student Scholarship?
Here at TopSpeed, we believe the next generation of automotive enthusiasts, photographers, and journalists are important, and we love to give back to our community.
With this in mind, we’re pleased to announce the Annual TopSpeed Scholarship to help encourage and foster future automotive journalists and photographers.
This scholarship is meant to help one student every year advance their studies with a $1000 grant that can be used for anything related to automotive photography or journalism from learning to hold a camera to high-end photography or journalism skills.
New college freshman and current students are eligible for this scholarship and are encouraged to apply. The scholarship will be awarded to one student, and the money will be sent directly to their University or College to go toward the tuition fee.
The student awarded the TopSpeed scholarship each year will be chosen based on creativity and commitment to their field of study, with the winner being chosen by the TopSpeed staff.
How To Apply for the TopSpeed Student Scholarship
To apply for the TopSpeed scholarship, we ask that you submit one piece of work. Examples would include a report of an automotive-themed event (like a major auto show or race event, for instance) with photographs to accompany it – basically exactly what you will eventually do as an automotive journalist and photographer when you embark on your future career.
Any work submitted will remain your property unless specifically stated or agreed upon otherwise, and all work submitted will only be used for consideration of this scholarship. As a student, you will have the right to submit your work to other bodies and publish it elsewhere if you wish, and neither Topspeed.com nor its affiliates will not use the work for any other purpose.

TopSpeed was founded back in 2003 with the dream to tell the world about fast cars, and it has since expanded to include more than 10 contributors and everything from car reviews, guides, news to fun games, and amazing wallpapers.
Our webpage and social media channels include anything and everything about cars from mainstream to exotic, and we share some fun videos every now and then too. If it revolves around the automotive world, you can bet we have it.
We are proud that we’re able to offer our new scholarship program to help a new aspiring photographer or automotive journalist get a little closer to living their dreams.
