The Cybertruck remains for the time being just a rendering, as Tesla hasn’t been able to deliver a single Cybertruck so far. Last time we heard from Elon Musk, a small number of deliveries were slated for the end of 2021 with the bulk of cars expected to reach owners in 2022.

It looks like this delay hasn’t stopped Stream It from designing the Cyberlandr, a camper/overlander designed specifically for the Tesla Cybertruck.

Hot Wheels Unleashed has been officially announced and we are already missing less the delayed Gran Turismo 7.

Those looking for Gran Turismo 7 thrills will have to suit up with patience because the game will not hit the stores earlier than 2022. The news via an interview with PlayStation boss Jim Ryan, who had a chat with GQ about PS5 stock and Sony’s plans for 2021 in general.

Oh, to be rich and extravagant…

I’d like to imagine a day when someone near and dear to me gives me a gift like this scale replica of the 1989 Batmobile that’s been repurposed as a desk clock. Not only will it look really good on my desk, but it’d be another physical manifestation of my obsessive love for the Dark Knight. It’d also be a fancy addition to my unhealthy collection of Batman memorabilia, but am I expecting to receive this Batmobile desk clock as a gift this Christmas? No, I am not, and there’s one obvious reason for that. It costs $29,900. I’d probably have a bigger chance of seeing a slimmed-down, Covid-19-free Santa Claus sliding down my chimney than being on the receiving end of the Batmobile desk clock. Then again, 2020 has been weird for all sorts of reasons. It’s not too much of an ask to hope for one, right?

The special edition headphones are based on two of Master & Dynamic’s most celebrated products: the MW65 Active Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones and the MW07 Plus True Wireless Earphones. Both products are dressed to the nines in Lamborghini branding and just like the Italian supercars that come out of Sant’Agata, the headphones carry premium pricing, ranging from $450 to close to $700. The Senna GTR can now write all the history it wants both on the race track and on your desk. Lego is partnering up with the British supercar maker on a Technic set that will recreate the Senna GTR using the tiny plastic bricks we all know and love.

The Ecto-1 is one of those iconic movie cars people don’t talk too much about these days. I guess we’re all too busy salivating at the sight of James Bond’s vehicles throughout the years to even realize how much we miss gems like the Ecto-1.

Have no fear, Ghostbusters fans! Lego is making sure the Ecto-1 reaches your desk and stays in other people’s memories, too, with a new interpretation of the iconic ghost-busting car. Yup, Lego is making a new Ectomobile set.

BMW is once again setting its sights on the hot hatch market with a new 1 Series model that calls back one of the German automaker’s rarely used badges. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the BMW 128ti, and it wants to take a bite out of the hot hatch market. The 128ti — the “ti” stands for Turismo Internazionale — will have a tough go at it with so many contenders in the segment, but, rest assured, Bimmer isn’t returning to the niche market with the intention of being a mere spectator. No, sir. The 128ti is being developed to compete with the best-of-the-best, and from the looks of it, BMW isn’t cutting any corners in the hot hatch’s development. The 128i is more contender than pretender, and while all the details won’t be revealed until its expected debut in November, it looks like BMW has a new pocket rocket on its hands.

It’s quite often that we hear about a restoration project that unearths the lost soul of a sports car or a very, very rare automobile. Heck, some people even add their own wacky twist when restoring a car, but what happens when you stumble upon an old, rusted, dirt-covered diecast car?

The answer is pretty straightforward: you bring it back to its former glory through a process that, for some reason, is highly satisfying to watch.

Major Lego sets don’t come too often but it turns out 2020 isn’t just about world pandemics and home isolation. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the latest collabo between Lego and Lamborghini, nicely wrapped up as a Technic set - pretty much the highest echelon of builds Lego makes currently. Enter the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 Lego Technic set.

Although the Cybertruck produced by Tesla is not going to arrive until 2022, the Cybertruck by Hot Wheels will be here by the end of 2020.

Hot Wheels and Mattel will be producing remote-controlled Cybertrucks in two sizes: 1:10-scale and 1:64-scale models. Both RC trucks were revealed at the 2020 Toy Fair and, believe it or not, the 1:10-scale model truck sold out within hours after it was announced. The demand was so high that Hot Wheels has even started a waiting list. The 1:10 model is priced at $400 and the 1:64 one at just $20.

Cars and guitars have worked well together since the early days of rock’n roll. Musicians like Eric Clapton, Jamiroquai, and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason are avid car collectors. Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson also owned an impressive fleet of limousines and sports cars.

Come 2020 and Fender pays tribute to the sports car market with a guitar inspired by the Saleen S1. The limited-edition six-string is based on the iconic Stratocaster, but it’s a more modern rendition made with different materials and different design. A Stratocaster for the modern guitarist.

Aston Martin is ringing in the new year with its first product launch, except it’s not really an official Aston Martin creation. It’s called the ACH130 Aston Martin Edition, and it’s the first fruit in what is expected to be a long and lasting partnership between the British luxury car maker and Airbus Corporate Helicopters. Yes, the ACH130 is not a car, but, rather, a luxury private helicopter that’s been dressed from cockpit to tail rotor with all the luxury goodness that we’ve come to expect from Aston Martin.

All told, the ACH130 Aston Martin Edition comes with a range of four exterior and interior designs created specifically by Aston Martin. The ACH130 Aston Martin Edition is already available on request and deliveries are expected to start in the first quarter of 2020. No word yet on how much one costs, but be advised that a “standard” Airbus ACH130 starts at $3.3 million.

We’ve got a lot of love for Lego’s car sets, and some of our favorite desk boosters are Speed Champions-branded. Lego’s move to branch out and launch this new category back in 2015 is something we’ve been applauding from day one. The sets are small enough to build in your lunch break, and they won’t eat up as much space on your desk as a Creator set, for example. That said, the Speed Champions family just added a new member. Two, in fact: say hello to the plasticky Huracan Super Trofeo Evo and Urus ST-X.

Fellas, since there’s an official-y National Video Games Day celebrated in the US of A on September 12th, it’s only natural to have our news feeds flooded with all sorts of marketing gimmicks that would attract even more fans (to be read buyers) to the already-big industry that is video gaming. And believe it or not, esports are coming in hot as a rapidly-growing niche.

OK, but what’s the automotive industry have to do with it? Well, it turns out Nissan got its designers’ creative juices flowing with three esports chair designs that are inspired by the carmaker’s GT-R, LEAF EV, and Armada SUV household names.
