Mansory and MTM Give The Lamborghini Urus Bugatti Power

Lamborghini is known for building supercars. But, with 650 horsepower under the hood, its Urus SUV is not exactly supercar material. In fact, we can name a few SUVs that deliver a lot more power than the Urus. Think for example about cars like: Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat (710 horsepower), Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk (707 horsepower) or Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid (670 horsepower).
The guys over MTM, in collaboration with Mansory, came to fix this problem!
MTM was responsible for the engine upgrade, while Mansory worked on giving the Urus a very extreme makeover. The result is a SUV with the same amount of power as the original Bugatti Veyron!
For the engine upgrade, MTM fitted the 4.0-liter V-8 engine with a pair of larger turbochargers, an upgraded intake system and a custom air filter. Of course the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission had to be updated too in order to handle the extra power.
The two tuners did not reveal how these changes have improved the performance figures, but for sure it will be a lot faster than the stock Urus. As a reminder, the SUV goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and up to a top speed of 190 mph.
Mansory is the tuner responsible for the extreme exterior makeover. The aero kit is made in carbon fiber and includes: massive front air intakes, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, and an aggressive rear diffuser.
This latest one is hosting a centrally mounted triple exhaust system with trapezoidal end pipes. The SUV was painted in black with subtle gold accents.
