This Tesla Model X With Machine Guns Shouldn’t Be Let Out On The Streets!
A BRCC Tesla Model X has been retrofitted with two machine guns that slide out when the falcon wings are opened! Noice!
by Sidd Dhimaan, onYou know what’s cooler than the falcon wings on the Tesla Model X? Machine guns coming out of the falcon wings! ‘FullMag’ uploaded a video of a Model X that started life as an EV, then an espresso machine on wheels, and now, a freakin’ artillery. Coolness factor – infinity!
That’s One Rad-Looking Tesla Model X
On the outside, the Tesla Model X comes with an ODI green wrap that has a rusty, Jeep-like vibe to it. It features the ‘Black Rifle Coffee Company’ logo on the hood. The team has even equipped it with a body kit from ‘Unplugged Performance’ that enhances the overall look multi-folds. Yes, they are the same guys who worked on Randy Pobst’s Model S Plaid this year for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. They even added rivets to the doors and wheels arches to give it the muscular look.
You can even see satchels mounted on the rear doors using suction cups, and recovery shoves on the rear fender. The SUV rides on Vossen wheels wrapped in Michelin CrossCliamte tires. The golden wheels surprisingly gel well with wrap color and overall, the SUV looks handsome. The cabin doesn’t have a lot of radical stuff, other than the espresso and black seats with Velcro pile in the headrests and the BRCC logo on them. Oh, and there are machine guns in the rear. What?!
This SUV Loves Bloodshed, But Is Environment-Friendly
For all you gun freaks, you can check out the video below for all the specifics as to why the team went with this particular machine gun and not anything else. But, for the general curious folks, here’s a little gist of what’s going on in here.
The BRCC team reached out to Profence to equip 5.56 mm rotary barreled machine guns that slide out from both sides once the falcon wing doors are opened. Of course, the rear seats were removed for this. There are no reinforcement struts for now, but the mounting platform was reinforced.
The Profence PF 5.56 is said to have an effective range of 900 meters. It can shoot up to 4,000 rounds of 5.56 NATO ammo in one minute! So, in this dual setup, you can have 8,000 rounds of sustained fire every minute!
The guns weigh 33 pounds and have 70 pounds of recoil.
The speed can be controlled, too. You can slow down for target acquisition and go higher again once you’ve got the target locked. The controller even shows how much ammo you have left. There’s also a storage of sorts for the ammo underneath the carpet. Believe it or not, this whole machine gun setup is hardwired into the vehicle!
You Need Coffee After Shooting Some Rounds, Right?
Being a coffee company’s car, you can’t go without some coffee machines. Pop the trunk and you’ll see espresso machines that are powered by Goal Yeti Zero portable power stations. The coffee machines are mounted on a walnut-finished wood inlay. We’ll not delve too deep into it, but the whole setup includes stuff like Weber Workshops’ grinder and the La Marzocco espresso machine.
The frunk, for now, houses coffee cans, but the team has some plans of redoing it based on their needs.
Conclusion
I’m absolutely speechless seeing this build. But, I’ll leave you with some golden words that Dr. Rajesh Ramayan Koothrapalli once said, “As with my father, I both love and fear it!” This stands true in this case, too.
