This Outrageously Tuned Audi RS6 Avant Is Stupid Fast
If the Audi RS6 Avant wasn’t already close enough to being a supercar in disguise for you, then this build will probably make you happy
by Robert Moore, onThe newest iteration of the Audi RS6 Avant is a brutal beast of a car with a 4.0-liter V-8 that pumps out 592 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque – enough to make it a rival for some of the world’s greatest supercars. So, you could coin the RS6 Avant as a supercar in disguise, but what if you want more? Well, you could get in touch with Pacific German and VF Engineering to have them build you a one-off like the one you see in this video from Auditography.
Think you’ve already seen this Audi before? Well, you’d be mistaken, but it’s not the first 1,000-horsepower Audi shown off by Auditography. In June of 2021, Auditography released a video of a different 1,000-horsepower RS6 Avant making short work of the Alps. The car we’re talking about today, however is a bit different and is, in fact, a one-off. It features a stage 3 kit with more upgrades tan you can count, ultimately boosting output to above 1,000 horsepower and 750 pound-feet (more than 1,000 Nm) of torque.
Some of the upgrades include a new TTE turbo upgrade, an Eventuri air intake kit, larger intercoolers, a remapped ECU, and an all-new Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. The latter was designed specifically to allow the car to maintain its OEM look with the RS-specific dual oval tips included. In terms of cosmetics, there’s not a lot, but if you know the RS6 Avant, you’ll know this one isn’t stock. There’s a subtle body kit below that new custom wrap, and a new set of 22-inch brushed bronze wheels. New anti-roll bars from ABT Sportsline helps reduce body-roll even further and there’s a new Alcantara and carbon-fiber steering wheel with shift lights.
In the end, this Audi RS6 Avant can hit 62.1 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds, which is nearly one-second faster than the stock model. Top speed comes in at over 210 mph or around 340 km/h. But all of this comes at a cost, and probably not one that you’ll be too comfortable hearing about. The RS6 Avant in stock form starts out at $116,500, and you can bet this build takes it much closer to the $200,000 mark – maybe even too close for comfort.
