This epic conversion is what happens when you mix a Porsche 911 with Maserati GranTurismo, on a Nissan 350Z body and it looks epic
by Dim Angelov, onMan’s imagination knows no bounds and when it comes to cars, we often see some truly epic creations. Luckily, the internet makes it possible for us to see these creations, and this interesting mix of Porsche Maserati and Nissan is the latest we have stumbled upon.
The images are posted on Reddit, in a thread for “bad car mods”. Conversions are a hit or miss (mostly a miss), but this one looks surprisingly good. The car itself started life as a Nissan 350Z and still retains much of its original body. It even has a Liberty Walk-like body kit. However, things get very interesting once you look at the front and rear of the car.
If you happen to be following the car, you would be forgiven for thinking it’s a Porsche 911, more specifically the 991 generation. The Nissan features most of the 991’s rear-end features, such as the taillights and complete rear bumper, along with the rear diffuser. It even has the same quad-exhaust tips, like the Porsche 991 Turbo.
You would think it’s the same deal in the front, but no. The front end actually comes from the Maserati GranTurismo. Like the rear end, you could easily mistake it for an actual Maserati, from a distance. The only thing that looks a bit out of place is the aftermarket front hood, with numerous air intakes and outlets.
The Reddit threat might label it as a “bad car mod”, but we think the execution is quite good. The Nissan 350Z scores unique looks and people come up with interesting nicknames for it, among which, the Nissan 350Z Mazerasche, Porsche 350Z, Pozerati, and others. Games like the GTA series feature unlicensed cars, which are inspired by real-life models, but aren’t. We think this one would definitely fit there.
