2024 BMW 5 Series - A Retro Look With Modern Tech? - gallery

The G30 5 Series is still on the market, but we already know a thing or two about the next generation

It's internally named the G60 and is set to debut towards the end of 2023 as a 2024 model

The next 5er will come in 3 different versions - EV, PHEV, and with combustion engines

The EV is expected to be called the i5 and will probably be sold as a separate model

The i5 is also expected to be offered it two different forms, the first coming with 300 hp, optional AWD, and a 250-mile range

Another model with standard AWD will have 500 hp and a 100 kWh battery that will rival the Tesla Model S and Mercedes EQE

The G60 5 Series will rely on a more traditional sedan body style

Next to the upcoming 7 Series, the two sedans look quite similar

It appears that the next 5 Series will bring back the iconic shark nose. Could we be getting a more retro-inspired design?

We expect a 5 Series Touring to make an appearance at some point

Sadly, the interior of the 2024 5 Series is completely covered, but it's sure to be packed with the latest tech
