Details were leaked online by a user on the Bronco6G forum about a Bronco Raptor for the 2022 model year
Although the page has since been taken down, we managed to find a Tweet reiterating the same
Details about the Raptor model first came to light when they were first spotted on the automakers ordering system by the forum user
The Bronco Raptor will be offered in two trims; the 373 A (Basic) and 374 A (Higher-equipped) Lux Package
Spy shots of only four-door versions of the Bronco Raptor have been spotted so far
They reveal skid plates, massive fender flares, and shorter bumpers when compared to the standard Bronco which allows for increased approach and departure angles
As with the F-150 Raptor, expect a heavily modified undercarriage and FOX shocks with a suspension lift kit, resulting in increase clearance, kitted out with heady duty off-road tires
The leak did not give details on the powertrain, but a May post by Ford Authority reveals that the upcoming Bronco Raptor might have the same 3.0 L EcoBoost V-6 found on the Explorer ST
Ford would be leaving a lot of money on the table if they don't build a Raptorized Brono
And this latest leak finally confirms that the Blue Oval is finally going ahead with it, but how exactly will Ford deal with even more demand for the Bronco?
Time will tell. But for now, expect the New Bronco to be out by early 2022. Swipe Up to Read More.
