Hennessey pit the Lamborghini Aventador S and a Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat against each other on a drag strip

The result is pretty much a no-brainer, but there's a catch. The Durango SRT Hellcat is equipped with Hennessey's HPE1000 package and it now makes 1012 horsepower and 969 pound-feet of torque

The Aventador S, on the other hands, puts out 730 horses and 507 pound-feet of twist from its 6.5-liter, V-12 naturally aspirated engine

The Lamborghini Aventador S had no chance against the 1,000-horsepower Durango SRT Hellcat, which was basically the whole point of this video. So, no surprises there

Nevertheless, it's a fun video to watch because you don't see the Italian beast get dominated like this very often; that too by a three-row family SUV!
