In 2020, Ram unveiled the 1500 TRX as a performance off-road pickup truck to take on the F-150 Raptor

The truck looks butch, feels plush inside the cabin, and features a supercharged V-8 engine that makes over 700 horses

Ram offers the 1500 TRX in just one body style - Crew cab with a 5.7-foot cargo bed

Up front, it features skid plates, steel bumpers, two tow hooks, a massive hood scoop, and a unique grille

It rides on 18-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch, 325/65 section Goodyear Wrangler Territory All-Terrain Tires

It comes with dual five-inch exhaust outlets and two tow hooks on its derriere

The truck can tow up to 8,100 pounds and haul up to 1,310 pounds. It weighs 6,350 pounds

On the inside, it features a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters

The seven-inch screen in the instrument cluster shows driving and performance related data

On the center console sits a 12-inch UConnect 4C touchscreen system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sirius XM

Ram has ditched the rotary knob gear shifter in favor of a conventional floor-mounted gear shifter here

A control panel is in the place of the knob and it features switches for 4WD High/Low, Axle Lock, Drive Mode selector, Launch Control, etc.

The TRX is powered by a 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 HEMI Hellcat engine

It makes 702 HP and 650 lb-ft of oomph

It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a heavy-duty advanced four-wheel-drive system

The TRX sprints from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 118 mph

It delivers 10 mpg in the city, 14 mpg on highway, and 12 mpg combined

The truck comes with a front independent suspension system and Dana 60 solid rear axle

It also features 2.5-inch Bilstein Performance shocks at the front and rear

A BorgWarner transfer case and an electronic locking rear differential are also in place

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX comes with a base price of $70,325 plus $1,695 destination

The Ram TRX takes on the Ford F-150 Raptor. It comes with a 3.5-liter, twin-turbo, V-6 EcoBoost mill that produces 450 HP and 510 lb-ft of torque

It comes with stuff like electronic locking rear differential, two-speed transfer case, and an independent front suspension system

The 2021 F-150 Raptor starts at $65,840 including destination, which is a little over $6,000 less than the TRX
