Nissan has revealed its ‘Nissan Ambition 2030’ vision to push electrification. The ambitious plan includes an investment of $17.6 billion over the next five years
The automaker is also working on solid-state batteries, which are expected to come by 2028. A pilot plant for EVs powered by solid-state batteries will be launched in 2024
Nissan showcased for concepts to give us a glimpse of the vision it has in mind. These include: Chill-Out, Max-Out, Surf-Out, and Hang-Out
For the uninitiated, the e-4ORCE system is Nissan’s all-wheel-drive tech for EVs. The ProPilot is its autonomous technology
The automaker also mentioned that the Max-Out has the ability to morph the steering and flatten into the floor to offer more interior space when required
Nissan Hang-Out:
The Hang-Out is a completely autonomous urban commuter with which Nissan aims to break the shackles of a conventional interior
It has a theater-like seating setup inside and a flat floor. A dual-motor setup and an advanced e-4ORCE system are there, too
