A 1995 Lamborghini Diablo SuperVeloce is up for grabs
by Kirby Garlitos, onHot on the heels of Real Racing’s Evolution of Jaguar update, another auto racing mobile game is offering an iconic supercar as a prize on its own update. This one comes by way of Need for Speed No Limits and its new Devil’s Run expansion update that includes several challenges that not only allows gamers to win in-game cash, but more importantly, a 1995 Lamborghini Diablo SuperVeloce, among other prized exotic beauties.
The Devil’s Run expansion will feature several different challenges that will be rolled out in the next six weeks. The first of these challenges will drop tomorrow, August 12 and will run until next Tuesday, August 16, giving gamers a total of five days to race their way from 100th place to 1st in an underground road rally. Those who accomplish this task will win the 1995 Diablo SV and in-game cash.
Those who miss out on scoring the Diablo SV will still have two more opportunities to take home a virtual supercar. It’s not going to be the Lamborghini anymore, but those who win the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe Fastlane Series that will take place from August 23 to 28 will get a chance to win a Jaguar F-Type and those who win the Ford GT Fastlane Series from September 6 to 11 will obviously be treated to a Ford GT.
In addition to the challenges, the new NFS No Limits update will also include new features tacked on into the game. For instance, police cars in the game will now carry an Electro Static Field that can stop racers dead in their tracks. Likewise, in-game achievements by players will also come with rewards from the missions feature.
The Devil’s Run expansion is already live and can be downloaded on the Apple App Store and Google Play. In case there are still players there in need of convincing, a teaser trailer of the update is also available for public consumption.

Why it matters
I know the timing of this update comes just as we talked about a story pertaining to the benefits of playing action video games inimproving someone’s hand-eye coordination, but it is a good time to test that study out if gamers want a chance to win any of the three cars that the NFS Devil’s Run expansion pack is offering.
I’ve already downloaded the pack myself and while I still haven’t had the time to do anything other than check out the challenges, the upcoming weekend is as good a time as any to see if I can get my hands on that 1995 Lamborghini Diablo SuperVeloce. The Diablo is one of those classic exotics that I wish I could catch a glimpse of, but given its rarity, winning it in this update is probably the closest I’ll ever get to owning one for myself.
I don’t foresee myself being the only one who’s going to take a crack at acquiring the car and the in-game cash that comes with it. So to all the gamers who are going to have their faces buried in their mobile phones over the next month, do so when you’re not doing anything else. I don’t subscribe to playing the game in working hours, but the weekends should be ample time to finish the challenges. Just be sure to also check if your hand-eye coordination improves after playing the game.
Press Release
New Update Lets You Race to Win Three New Iconic Super Cars
It’s time to hit the streets with a new Devil’s Run update to Need for Speed No Limits, available now as a free* download on the AppStore and on Google Play. Over the next six weeks, players can compete in three new limited-time events for a chance to win fame, fortune, and iconic supercars including the 1995 Lamborghini Diablo Super Veloce and 2006 Ford GT**.
From August 12th through the 16th, players can race a Diablo SV through the streets of Blackridge in Devils Run, a
major underground road rally. Everyone who works their way from 100th to 1st place will win a Diablo SV of their very own, alongside a huge cash prize**. But it won’t be easy, with big rewards on the line, players will square off against the best racers, and an army of police, who are on full alert.
With the famed and unsanctioned automobile event already on their radar, Blackridge P.D. have already called in extra units and new technology from the state department to help try and shut down the event. Now police can use an Electro Static Field to bring you and other Devil’s Run racers down.
Additional new features in the update also include a new ’Race Skips’ function, allowing players to instantly complete a replay event while still receiving the 3-Card Monte sequence; as well as a new ’Missions’ feature, which rewards players for reaching milestone achievements.
But the race doesn’t end there, as there are two more limited time series launching later this Season. From Aug 23rd through the 28th, complete all events in the Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe Fastlane Series to win a Jaguar F-Type**; and from September 6th through the 11th, complete all events in the Ford GT Fastlane Series to win a Ford GT*.
