Ordinarily, building Italian supercars with your bare hands is always a recipe for disaster. We’ve seen it time and time again and it seems that our world will never be without these enterprising and creative fellows who think that building close - some aren’t even close by any stretch of the imagination - mock-ups of the real thing equates to having your machismo level flying straight through the roof. Sorry to burst your proverbial bubbles, but more often than not, it’s not even a sputter of masculinity.
That being said, we chanced upon this one man, Ken Imhoff. Ken is just like all of us. He loves his cars and holds a great deal of passion towards one brand in particular, Lamborghini.
Despite not having the financial capabilities to purchase his own Lamborghini supercar, Ken was undaunted. He had to have one and, if he couldn’t buy one, well, he might as well build one. And the difference between Ken Imhoff and all those Lamborghini knock-offs we’ve showed you before? Ken’s hand-made Lamborghini Countach is about as real as a Lamborghini that’s built by hand can get.

After working on his project for close to 17 years in, of all places, his basement, Ken was finally able to put his Countach out on the road – and he was only able to do it after digging a ramp and destroying one of his basement walls – to finally stretch his supercar’s legs.
You don’t need to tell us that 17 years is a long time because we’re well aware of that. He started his project at a time when Michael Jordan was playing baseball, Will Smith was still the “Fresh Prince”, and the Internet hadn’t been born yet. So to say that this man didn’t pay his dues is a gross understatement. It’s a great story to anyone who aspires for the impossible and spends a lifetime building on it, until the day comes when you can finally bust a basement wall and show to the world that, against all odds, when you set your mind on something and work your tail off to accomplish it, you’ll get the results you’ve always wanted.
And, in Ken Imhoff’s case, that result happens to be a one-of-a-kind, hand-built Lamborghini Countach.

he built it perfectly, i see no differences in the authentic version.
with the addiction and crave for the lambo he put his time and dedication to build one..
