It’s finally here! Jeep’s first truck in decades!
Essentially a Wrangler with a five-foot bed, the Gladiator rides on a custom body-on-frame that’s longer than the SUVs. The truck also shares drivetrain components with the Wrangler, including the Pentastar V-6 engine. A diesel mill, already available in the Ram 1500, will be offered in 2020. The Gladiator stands out among its competition thanks to its open-air configuration, unique on the market, and impressive payload and towing capabilities.
The Jeep Gladiator is a new pickup truck based on the latest-generation Wrangler. As the first Jeep-badged truck in almost three decades, the Gladiator made its public debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Originally believed to arrive with the Scrambler name, the pickup truck revives a nameplate first used in the 1960s.

Daniel Radcliffe Drops The Broom For An Apocalypse 6x6
For almost ten years - from 2001 to 2011 - when the first and last series of the movie was released, Daniel Radcliffe’s (aka Harry Potter) means of transportation was the broom. Things changed over the years, and the kid is now a man. And so is his toy: the broom evolved into the Apocalypse 6x6. At least in the last movie staring Daniel Radcliffe: "The Lost City."
This Jeep Gladiator 6x6 Looks Armageddon-Ready
There are a lot of 6x6 trucks in the market today. You’ve got iterations of the F-150 Raptor, and Ram 1500 TRX that have been given an extra axle and a pair of wheels. However, Jeep Gladiator seems to be a popular option amongst aftermarket companies for this mod. We’ve seen builds from Apocalypse Manufacturing,So-Flo, and even the Rezvani Hercules, and now we have another entry to this Gladiator-based 6x6 truck by Next Level Offroad.
The California-based company has come up with a build of its own. It doesn’t look as monstrous as the others and is actually one of the cleanest builds we’ve seen.
This ’Possessed’ Jeep Gladiator Has An 850-Horsepower Dodge Demon V-8 Under The Hood!
Jeep Gladiator needs no introduction. It was one of the most anticipated products and it didn’t let anyone down. What makes it even more special is that being an FCA product, or should I say Stellantis product, there is no dearth of customization options. But, here’s one example that probably sets the benchmark for Gladiators.
Presenting to you, courtesy of AutotopiaLA, the Jeep ‘Possessed’ Gladiator. It is big, brawny, and comes with mods that can make purists go weak in the knees
2021 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts
Well, it’s that time of the year again. For us off-road enthusiasts, this is nothing short of Christmas. Moab is going to be lit again starting 27 March 2021, courtesy of several concepts that Jeep has planned to bring this year. After pulling out of the 2020 Easter Jeep Safari because of the pandemic, the automaker has returned to the 2021 edition with seven different vehicles comprising of Wrangler and Gladiators. The pick of the lot, however, would be the first fully-electric Wrangler. Will this event make enough impact for people to forget about the Bronco for some time?
2021 Jeep Gladiator Diesel - Driven
The Jeep Gladiator was one of the most anticipated vehicles for a very long time. Jeep had revealed the Gladiator concept back in 2005 but took almost 14 years to roll out the production model. But, we finally had a Jeep-branded truck after three long decades. The truck was launched with much pomp and show and it caught a lot of attention. The truck comes in a wide number of trims with uncountable packages and accessories to complement it. The automaker keeps the Gladiator fresh by launching special editions, too.
However, Jeep hasn’t been able to sell the Gladiator in big numbers. One reason could be the high pricing, and the other was offering it with just a single engine option – the old but reliable V-6 Pentastar. Jeep probably figured this out soon and launched an EcoDiesel engine as an option. A Gladiator dressed in the Overland trim with the new diesel mill under the hood arrived at TopSpeed, and here are our impressions of it.
2021 Apocalypse Hellfire 6x6
There’s no way 6x6 trucks can sneak away without catching any attention. There are quite a few aftermarket 6x6 creations like the VelociRaptor and the Mammoth by Hennessey, Gladiator by So-Flo, and some 6x6s that are built from the scratch, like the Rezvani Hercules. While Rezvani may have taken a different approach, a company called Apocalypse Manufacturing has developed a 6x6 based on the Jeep Gladiator called the Hellfire. Apart from the six-wheel-drive layout, it comes with massive tires, an active suspension system, and a cabin filled with modern tech features. The asking price for this beast runs into six digits.
2020 Jeep Gladiator Top Dog Concept by Mopar
The SEMA Show is turning out to be quite exciting. Jeep is taking part, obviously, and has come with a concept targeted at hard-core mountain bike enthusiasts. The automaker, along with Mopar, has transformed the 2020 Gladiator pickup truck into a fun concept vehicle for serious mountain bikers. But, what’s catchier about this concept is the number of storage spaces in the customized truck bed. Oh, and also, there’s a built-in hot dog machine. How about that!
2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys
While special editions are a nice thing to have, an overdose of them isn’t taken too well. Not long ago, Jeep introduced anniversary editions on many of its vehicles, and now, it has come up with another one for the Gladiator. This one is called the Gladiator Willys. Willys models in Jeeps have a different fan-base altogether, so we’ll let Jeep off the hook for this one. The pickup truck comes with a lot of off-road equipment in this edition, and it will be an exciting one for the folks who found the standard Gladiator a little too plain-Jane as per Jeep’s standards. Will this qualify to become a standard trim in the future?
2021 Jeep Gladiator 80th Anniversary Edition
Jeep has introduced 80th Anniversary Edition on a few of its vehicles, with the Gladiator being one of them. This special edition brings about new additions on the outside and inside the cabin, but things are the same under the hood. The Gladiator hasn’t been a runaway success for Jeep, despite the hype it garnered before its launch. Will this edition shake-up the Gladiator and bring in sales for the automaker?
Watch the Old Land Rover Defender Keep Up with the New Defender and Jeep Gladiator
Land Rover brought back the 2020 Defender after a four-year hiatus and it is quite impressive. But, the new body and feel gave it more of an urban vibe than the classic off-roader pizzazz that the Defender is generally known for. So, to see how it weighs in the present scenario, the folks at TFL decided to take it off-roading along with the old Defender and the rugged Jeep Gladiator. Can it match its rivals as an off-roader, or has the new Defender become an urban commuter with a just little off-roading DNA left in it?
2020 Jeep Gladiator 6x6 by So Flo Jeeps
We’ve seen plenty of Jeep Gladiator aftermarket builds, but this is one of a kind. South Florida Jeeps, aka So Flo Jeeps, has created a monster out of this simple-looking truck from Jeep. Called the SF 6x6G, the company has transformed every single nook and corner of this Gladiator. It rides much higher than the stock model, sits on bigger tires, comes equipped with a lot of additional accessories, has an extra axle, and the best part – packs a Corvette engine under the hood. Can a build get any better?
2020 Jeep Gladiator - Driven
The Gladiator was the most anticipated launch of 2020, right alongside the Chevrolet C8. Jeep had revealed the pickup truck concept back in 2005, but it took the company 15 years to bring out the production version. This was going to be Jeep’s first pickup truck in 30 years, so it was natural for enthusiasts to be hyped up for it. Jeep even introduced five different Gladiator concepts at the 2019 Eastern Jeep Safari and gave the Wranglers a miss; which is some sort of a record in Jeep’s history.
The company launched the Gladiator with four trims plus a limited Launch Edition trim, but it expanded the lineup with three more trims within a year. The Gladiator was a true-blue Jeep, but it isn’t bringing in volumes for the automaker, perhaps because of its slightly-higher pricing. But, a year post its launch with new trims in line and price discounts to lure the customers, can the Gladiator rake in sales numbers for Jeep?
Here’s How the $225,000 Hennessey Jeep Gladiator Maximus 1000 Makes the Desert Its Bitch
The Maximus 1000 might arguably be the most popular product from Hennessey today. The truck is a beast in Jeep Gladiator’s clothes. It is plonked with the Hellcat 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 engine under the hood and given the Hennessey treatment. On paper, the Maximus 1000 checked all the boxes that you’d expect from a truck of this demeanor. But, we have yet to see it prove its mettle in tough terrains or tracks or anywhere in the real world for that matter. However, Hennessey decided to show the world the Maximus’ might and took it to the desert to play with it. Is it still impressive? Hell yeah!
2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave And High Altitude Special Editions
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has proven its mettle since its launch and it’s not a bad off-roader by any means. However, Jeep decided to up the ante and make it even more suitable to desert terrain.
Called the Gladiator Mojave, this is the first Desert-Rated vehicle to come out of Jeep’s factory. Ever. Jeep has improved focus on the Gladiator’s suspension on this rugged pickup truck’s desert-ready version. Jeep also launched the High Altitude Edition that’s got to do more with extra features and luxury than ruggedness itself. This trim will be available on the Wrangler as well.
Bill Murray’s Super Bowl Commercial With the Jeep Gladiator Was Arguably The Best One This Year
Amongst the plethora of car commercials that aired during the Super Bowl, the Jeep Gladiator ad touched our hearts the most. The commercial saw Bill Murray step into the shoes of Phil Connor, the disgruntled weatherman from the 1993 movie Groundhog Day. In the movie, Phil finds himself stuck in a time loop wherein he relives the Groundhog Day over and over again. Jeep recreated this scene by filming with few of the original cast at the same locations, while subtly putting its Gladiator into the mix.
Can a Turbo Diesel Jeep Wrangler Hold Up in a Drag Race Against a Gladiator, Ram Rebel, and Ford F-250?
We are always excited to see a drag race between monster vehicles. It’s one thing to see supercars race, but a completely different feeling to see huge beasts rev the holy hell out of their engines.
This time around, the guys at TFL raced three pickup trucks and an SUV in a gauntlet-style race where the winner of a round proceeds to the next to face a new opponent. The last standing contender wins it all. For this race, we have the likes of Jeep Gladiator, Ram Rebel, Ford F-250 Super Duty, and Jeep Wrangler. So, let the games begin!
See What Happens When Two Evenly Matched Trucks Go Against Each Other in a Tug-Of-War
Thanks to Tesla’s efforts to ridicule the Ford F-150, tugging wars are now becoming a raging trend and there are many challenges on the internet where you can see vehicles of different shapes and sizes going up against each other. From the likes of Mercedes G-Class and Suzuki Jimny, to Ford F-250 and Jeep Gladiator, we’ve seen it all.
In most of the challenges mentioned, the winners could be predicted from the very off, so here’s one that will leave you scratching your head. The guys at Edmunds brought the 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to the battlefield to determine the winner. Who are you placing your bets on, then?
Jeep Gladiator and Ford F-250 Tug-of-War Shows the Difference Between Function and Fun
The Jeep Gladiator made a strong comeback last year, much to the excitement of Jeep enthusiasts. Irrespective of the legacy and its capabilities, we all can agree to the fact that the 2020 Gladiator is priced at a premium; the top Rubicon trim retails at over $50,000, for example.
Forget about the Ford F-150; with that budget, you can even get a brand new Ford F-250. That said, the TFL team bought both the vehicles for the same price and decided to pit them against each other in a challenge that’s taken the truck market by storm – a tug-of-war. We know the winner already, right?
The Hennessey Maximus Jeep Gladiator Drops a Ton of Power Between the Engine and the Wheels: Video
Do you remember the Maximus 1000? Hennessey injected the Jeep Gladiator with steroids and renamed it the Maximus 1000 earlier this year. Although it looks absolutely stunning in black, the truck’s biggest change was under the hood where the tuner decided to swap the stock Pentastar engine with a Hellcat mill.
The engine was then further tuned to churn out 1,000 horsepower and now Hennessey has released a video of the Maximus doing a dyno run. Although you’d expect it to rev in all its glory, the Maximus actually didn’t make a 1,000 horses. It was a lot less, and honestly, a tad bit disappointing.
A Michigan Jeep Dealer Turned the Gladiator Into a CJ-8 Scrambler and It’s Awesome
The last time we heard of the Jeep Scrambler was at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari when the automaker brought it along with other Gladiator-based concepts. Now, a Michigan dealer has paid tribute to the iconic model by turning a 2020 Gladiator into a CJ-8 Scrambler. The truck comes with the famous orange stripes and decals running across the body. It’s also priced a little high considering the changes made, but who are we to complain if we get to see this beauty on the roads?
The Long, Illustrious History of Jeep Pickup Trucks
It has recently been confirmed that Jeep will unveil a pickup truck version of the JL Wrangler at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Called the Gladiator, according to leaked documents, it will be Jeep’s first pickup truck since 1992. And, needless to say, fans have been clamoring for a Jeep with a bed ever since the Cherokee-based Comanche was discontinued.
The Gladiator name will also make a comeback after no fewer than 47 years, but Jeep built more than two pickups throughout its history. It actually made six of them, and even though they were built under different ownership and names, they’re all iconic in their own right. With Jeep’s first truck in more than two decades underway, we decided it’s the perfect time to look through the company’s history as a pickup manufacturer.
Jeep’s Return to Military Service Could Go Through The Gladiator Pickup
It’s safe to say that the Gladiator is winning a lot of fans over, and if the pickup’s momentum continues, the Gladiator’s fanbase could grow to include the United States Military. This, folks, is the Jeep Gladiator XMT. It’s a military-grade light tactical concept vehicle that was built by Jeep in partnership with AM General, the same company that made the Humvee, which later spawned the road-legal Hummer H1 back in the early 1990s. As popular as the Jeep Gladiator has become, it is a bit of a letdown that the coolest and most awesome version of the pickup won’t be available to the public. Then again, if it’s going to be used to defend our country, then we’re all for that. The Jeep Gladiator XMT made its debut at AUSA, the annual meeting exposition of the Association of the U.S. Army.
2019 Jeep Gladiator by FiftyTen
The Jeep Gladiator changed the way the compact pickup market was looked at. We finally have a hardcore truck that is as versatile as any other truck it competes against. We’ve covered the Gladiator as a daily driver, an off-roader, and a work truck; but, how about as an adventure truck? We guess this was the only thing left on the list.
Here’s FiftyTen, a German company that makes camping gear. The company recently teased a foldable camping gear earlier this year, and now, it has revealed the product by shelling out some details on the Gladiator-based camper that will make its debut over the coming weekend.
Someone Swapped a Hellcat Engine Into a Jeep Gladiator and It’s Downright Amazing
#HellcatSwaps has the ability to become one of the most popular hashtags in the industry given the way tuners are going ahead with this. This is not the first time a Hellcat swap is being done in a Jeep Gladiator. Hennessey has done this before on the same vehicle and moniker’d it Maximus. Heck, even Jeep used a Hellcat engine when it launched the 2019 Gladiator M-715 Five Quarter concept at the Easter Jeep Safari earlier this year. Now, a video released by Drag Times shows us another example where a Jeep Gladiator has been turned into a monster. Does it feature any other changes besides the engine swap? Oh, hell yeah!
The Jeep Wrangler Feels the Burn as People Buy MOPAR Parts Like Crazy for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator
There’s no denying that prior to the launch of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, the company had anticipated it to be a runaway success. Similarly, Chevrolet was confident of the Corvette C8 doing well, and it added an extra shift of workforce in its Kentucky factory even before the launch of the mid-engined car. FCA introduced a plethora of add-on accessories through Mopar along with the Gladiator’s launch, and the gamble seems to have paid off. In fact, the success is so great that the Gladiator managed to beat the Wrangler when it comes to the moolah customers spend to buy Mopar accessories for their vehicles.
Here’s What the Ford Bronco Pickup Truck Needs to Slay the Jeep Gladiator
Jeep kept the enthusiasts waiting for over three decades to launch a new pickup truck. But this year, it finally launched the 2020 Gladiator that has impressed the hell out of everyone. It’s sales figures are not bad either, considering that the truck is slightly overpriced for what’s on offer. There were a lot of apprehensions before the launch as to what kind of customers Jeep will cater to with the Gladiator; with the most popular choice being the enthusiasts. However, Jeep sprung a surprise by launching it in trims that serves a wide variety of people. It all seemed good until Ford decided to drop a bomb on Jeep. News about a Ford Bronco-based pickup truck started surfacing the internet, and it sure garnered a lot of attention. The main reason as to why Gladiator was one of the most anticipated launches of the year because of its rich legacy. But with this new offering from Ford, the Gladiator’s advantage is nullified. However, Ford needs to bring out one hell of a product to trump the Gladiator and all the hype surrounding it. Do you think it could beat the 2020 Jeep Gladiator?
Can the Jeep Gladiator Hold Its Own Against a new, Bronco-Based Pickup?
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator made a strong impact when it debuted earlier this year. The iconic pickup truck from Jeep was long due and managed to live up to the hype of enthusiasts. The X-factor of the Gladiator is its versatility. People expected the Gladiator to be mainly an off-roader of sorts. The brain-stormers at Jeep, however, did a great job in splitting the variants that make the Gladiator a competent work truck, daily driver, and a hardcore off-roader. However, it is now going to face competition from the company that is dominating the truck segment for decades now. Yes, I’m talking about the Blue Oval. The company has reportedly come up with a Bronco-based pickup truck that will take on the Jeep Gladiator.
Jeep Brings The Gladiator To Europe!
After being launched in the U.S., the Jeep Gladiator is now debuting in Europe. It is slowly finding its feet in the States, which won’t be difficult because people had been waiting for this for a very long time. In May and June 2019, Jeep sold 2,584 and 4,231 examples of the Gladiator, respectively. So, now it’s time for the automaker to focus on its next stop. The Gladiator will be unveiled at the Camp Jeep Event held every year by the Jeep Owners Group in San Martino di Castrozza, Italy. Just to be clear, the Gladiator is just being launched In Europe. It won’t hit dealerships until 2020.
A Train Wreck Could Have You Waiting Longer For your New Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Wrangler, or Chevy Silverado
This is the saddest news we’ve heard all day. A train derailed in Nevada a couple of days back, and 33 train cars were damaged in the aftermath. The train was also ferrying brand-new Jeeps, Chevrolets, and GMCs, and they have all been wrecked; well, to an extent. The photos were released by the Lincoln County Sherriff’s Office and are quite disturbing for car enthusiasts. Fortunately, there were no casualties and injuries, but these beautiful vehicles getting damaged is quite disturbing in itself. The forces say the ’debris’ will be cleared out by July 13th. If you were expecting a delivery of your vehicle from these brands anytime soon around Utah, Nevada, and California, you can most certainly expect a delay.
There’s a Pretty Sweet One-Off Jeep Gladiator Sitting at a Dealership in Wisconsin - You Have to See it
The Jeep Gladiator is an icon in its own sense. Folks have waited for a Jeep pickup truck for over three decades, and Jeep finally gave us one in the form of the 2020 Gladiator. We love the Jeep Gladiator through and through and have explained its versatility profusely. However, we would have preferred some retro and vintage touches for the old-school purists. Not in the mainstream variants, but perhaps, as an optional body and decal kit at the dealership level. It looks like a dealership based out of Wisconsin heard our wishes and has sent the Gladiator back to the 1970s for a makeover.
Jeep Gladiator Maximus 1000 by Hennessey
Jeep kept us waiting for almost three decades to bring out the Gladiator. It launched the concept truck back in 2005, but the production-spec truck was launched this year. However, it was worth the wait because Jeep managed to create an all-round truck that could be used as a daily-driver, as an off-roader, and also as a work truck. However, that Gladiator couldn’t be considered a ’beast’ in any sense. It neither looked intimidating, nor had the firepower to make people’s jaws drop. But Hennessey Performance was quick to work on this and decided to close in on the one thing that the original Gladiator was not. Hennessey has unveiled the alter-ego version of the Jeep Gladiator under the 2020 Hennessey Maximus 1000 Jeep Gladiator Truck moniker. The tuner decided not to make this a common offering and announced that only 24 examples of the Maximus will be manufactured. Is this product worth the exclusivity?
2020 Hennessey Maximus Jeep Gladiator Truck
Remember when Maximus, played by Russel Crowe, was advised by the older gladiator that to win his freedom, he must first win the crowd? Well, we do, and so does Hennessey Performance, because the rad yet very-limited-edition 2020 Jeep Gladiator Maximus has stemmed from that exact movie quote. And yes, it packs a Hellcat V-8. So, you can consider this crowd pretty much won at this point.
Jeep created a furore when it launched the 2020 Gladiator. People love Jeep and it was a great moment for the enthusiasts to see a Jeep-branded truck return after almost three decades. Even though the concept truck was launched in 2005, it took the company almost 15 years to finally come up with the final production version, but it was worth the wait. In fact, Jeep wanted to capitalize on this hype and decided to bring five Gladiator based concepts to the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari; even if that meant taking that Wrangler off the grid this year. Even though the 2020 Gladiator is underpinned by the Wrangler’s platform, it is much more than just ’a Wrangler with a bed’. Jeep has launched the 2020 Gladiator is four different trims: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. There was a Launch Edition limited to 4,190 units as well, but for now, we’re going to focus on the standard trim levels and what boxes you should check when you’re filling out your order form.
How We’d Configure a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Work Truck
The 2020 Gladiator pushes Jeep into a category where they belong but haven’t been for a very long time. After a 30-year exile from the pickup segment, Jeep is going all guns blazing for this pickup truck. Although the concept of the truck was unveiled in 2005, Jeep took its sweet time to bring out the production version. Was it worth the wait? I would say yes because the truck is a perfect blend of modern technology and old-school charm. Not only is it riveting and engaging to drive, but it also carries a moniker that has been adored for many generations now. The best part about the Gladiator, you ask? Its versatility. Jeep has offered many options and packages on its website for the 2020 Gladiator, along with the access to Mopar stuff that can help you customize this truck as per your needs and requirements.
How We’d Configure an Off-Road 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Despite having a range of competent products in the stable, the need for a pickup truck was hurting the company. But, after almost three decades, Jeep finally decided to bring back the Gladiator, and the truck has been the talk of the town ever since. Jeep has left no stone unturned to make the 2020 Gladiator the star of the lineup. Right from headlining the Easter Jeep Safari with as many as five concepts based on the Gladiator, to launching an online configurator to customize the pickup truck as per your needs, Jeep has done it all.
How We’d Configure a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Daily Driver
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator was launched after many decades, and the automaker did not miss a single chance to hype the truck. From bring five Gladiator-based concepts to the 2019 Jeep Easter Safari, to launching the truck with a plethora of optional accessories, Jeep has done it all. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has lived up to its hype and has successfully swallowed the pressure of being one of the most anticipated trucks in recent history. Now that the initial hype is slowly dying, Jeep has launched the online configurator for the Gladiator along with a hell lot of optional accessories. So, here’s how we’d spec the Jeep Gladiator.
2019 Jeep Gladiator JT Scrambler Concept
Yet another
based concept to mark its presence at the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari, the Jeep JT Scrambler concept is quite similar to the J6 - a throwback to the Jeep’s history. But this time, it’s not just about the colors, but also the graphics. The graphics and color combination strongly resonates with the CJ8 Scrambler from the ’80s. Just like all the other concepts present at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari, this one too is a showpiece to exhibit the Mopar performance parts. Actually, not just the performance parts, but also the bright, orange stickers around the body which are the highlight of this truck.
2019 Jeep Gladiator Gravity Concept
The Jeep Gladiator Gravity Concept is perhaps the smartest looking truck of the lot that was presented at the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari. We are not sure if it was the design team that worked on this concept or the marketing team, but knowing that Jeep uses this event to create, innovate, and display new Mopar products, we have to say that this truck will bring in maximum revenue for Jeep. The Gravity concept is basically a table, shaped like a truck, that showcases a plethora of Mopar performance products. This Jeep shows how you can elevate the abilities and capabilities of your Jeep by installing the products from Jeep’s performance brand. On the onset, the car looks absolutely fantastic in the orange shade while maintaining its rugged looks. Just like four other concept trucks, Jeep has based this one on the Gladiator, too. The automaker has made sure that the company’s new pickup truck receives maximum exposure from this event. But, we cannot fathom the fact that not a single concept is based on the Wrangler!
2019 Jeep Gladiator M-715 Five-Quarter
This Jeep is only concept of the lot from this year’s Easter Jeep Safari that is not a 2020 Gladiator dressed in pretty clothes. Moniker’d the ’Five-Quarter,’ this concept truck is actually a resto-mod of the 1968 Kaiser Jeep M-715, Gladiator-based, military vehicle. This concept will surely draw a lot of attention from the die-hard fans and enthusiasts who have followed Jeep with loyalty. Let me stress on this again - this is a resto-mod operation, not a replica. This is the real deal. So, of the 30,000-odd vehicles that were built, and God knows how many have survived to this day, Jeep and Mopar have actually stripped apart a 50-year old truck and garnished it with loads with new parts!
Fun fact - Jeep actually picked this model up off of Craigslist before putting it through the wringer. If this doesn’t grab your attention, I don’t know what will.
2019 Jeep Gladiator J6 Concept
The Easter Jeep Safari, held at Moab, Utah, is a Mecca for Jeep lovers. Jeep uses these 10-odd days to showcase its concepts that not only bring out the creative side of the designers but also serves as a perfect platform to further market the lineup of highly sought-after Mopar products. One of the six concepts, the J6, is the product that serves this purpose completely. It is filled with Mopar products in and out and will undoubtedly intrigue the interest of the Safari attendees.
The J6 Concept is out there to en’lighten’ the event in all its glory. Didn’t get the reference? Well, that’s because Jeep has added a lot of LED lighting shenanigans to this truck. What makes it all the more interesting is that it has a two-door cab with a six-foot-long bed. A lot of enthusiasts have been vocal about having this same combination for quite some time now. Jeep understands this and will use this Safari as a pedestal to see if it makes a viable business case for itself.
2019 Jeep Gladiator Flatbill Concept
Jeep has crowded the 53rd Easter Jeep Safari with six of its concepts. Knowing how competitive the market has gotten in this age, Jeep decided to make use of this much-anticipated event by basing five of its six concepts on the new Gladiator, you know, for maximum exposure. Jeep has also paid tribute to the 1968 M-715 for the sake of nostalgia. Jeep has invested all of its time and finances allotted for this Safari on the Gladiator-based concepts, and here is one that revolves around the theme of motocross lifestyle - Dirt bikes and bro codes. Moniker’d the Flatbill concept, this truck has been designed while keeping the desert lifestyle in mind.
It certainly looks like Jeep had a lot of fun building this concept. In fact, Jeep seems to have gone all ’bruh’ with the Flatbill concept. How often do you see an automaker relate so close to reality? It’s not just about the vernacular here; Jeep has managed to induce the ’bro-ness’ into the Jeep with styling and design philosophy. The bright color combination and the loud styling cues make this one of the funkiest concepts of the 2019 Safari lot. Oh, and did we forget to tell you that the term ’Flatbill’ is derived from the popular style of baseball hats that the Jeep folks like to wear. No, we are not making this up, bro.
The Hellcat Engine Will Fit in the 2020 Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler But Jeep Won’t Do It For One Good Reason
This week, Jeep revealed six amazing builds ahead of the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. In 2019, almost all of these creations are based on the new Jeep Gladiator pickup truck with the single exception being the one that caught everyone’s attention: the Jeep Five-Quarter, an overhauled M-715 Gladiator-looking single cab pickup that packs a Hellcat V-8. This got everyone wondering again: why isn’t Jeep putting out a Gladiator or a Wrangler with a proper V-8? Well, now we know that: a) they could and that b) they won’t.
Every year, off-roading aficionados gather in Moab, Utah for a 4x4 extravaganza peppered up with some one-off builds by Jeep in collaboration with Mopar. This year, the theme of the Easter Jeep Safari is straightforward: the Gladiator. While all six trucks are lovely, two really got people buzzing: the Jeep J6, a single cab, long bed prototype that got people wondering what are Jeep’s reasons for not making it a reality. Then there’s the Gladiator that channels the gargantuan M-715 Gladiator military transport vehicle. It’s basically retromodding done backward on this single cab truck with a soft top which can be considered the smaller sibling of the 2016 Jeep Crew Chief 715 that took part in the safari three years ago.
Both are inspired by the Kaiser M-715 U.S. military truck produced in the late ’60s but are based on the Gladiator. The difference is that this year’s single cab model (named Five-Quarters as a tribute to Jeep one-to and one-and-a-half-ton trucks of old that were also known as ’five-quarters’) sports a hefty 6.2-liter, supercharged Hellcat crate engine with over 700 horsepower on tap. Fans were enthralled by the looks but also by the prospect of a V-8 inside the Gladiator and Tim Kuniskis, Head of the Jeep Brand in North America answers the burning question.
2019 Jeep Gladiator Wayout Concept
It’s back! The 53rd Annual Easter Week celebration for Jeep enthusiasts is here, and we are chuffed to bits, just like every year. This year, Jeep will bring in not one, not two, but six different concepts. Five of these concepts are based on the newGladiator, while one is essentially a tribute to the 1968 M-715 military version of the old-school civilian Gladiator. Jeep has worked with Mopar to create these concepts, and each one is a work of art in its own way. However, what caught our attention is that not a single one has the Wrangler badge this time! Easter Jeep Safari without Wrangler is like Thanksgiving dinner without Turkey! Guess Jeep is too excited commemorating the Gladiator pickup instead. For the 2019 Safari, the most practical concept that could make it to production, and still dominate the market, is the Wayout concept. From Jeep’s point-of-view, this concept is a way to re-instill the spark in enthusiast’s mind that no matter which automaker comes up with fancy shenanigans, a Jeep will still be a Jeep. We are referring to the Ford Ranger, and it’s exhaustive list of camping gear. The Wayout is the ultimate overlanding vehicle that would make for the perfect #wanderlust pictures for your Instagram.
Video Reviews: The 2019 Jeep Gladiator Tested and Rated
When Jeep revealed the Gladiator, the Wrangler-based pickup model it added to its range last year, many in the automotive scene were overjoyed. They raved about how good this new midsize truck is going to be, how long it’s been since Jeep had a pickup in its range, and the genuine need for such a vehicle that blends the Wrangler’s unmatched off-road capability with extra utility and carrying capacity.
2019 Jeep Gladiator By Katzkin Leather
After more than 30 years on the shelves, the almighty Jeep Gladiator returned to the auto scene at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Less than a few months later, we now have one of the first custom jobs for the Gladiator courtesy of a company known for making some of the best leather products for car interiors in the market. This, ladies and gentlemen, is Katzkin Leather’s interpretation of the Jeep Gladiator, and it’s an absolute doozy. Comprised mostly of upgrades to the truck’s interior, Katzkin Leather’s work on the Gladiator’s cabin is a visual showcase of the company’s new products. The upholstery package is one of the many options that Katzkin is offering through Mopar, complementing the menu of accessories and options that are already available for Jeep’s returning conqueror. Katzkin’s show of force on the Gladiator was on full display at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show.
Jeep Gladiator Goes Fancy with Katzkin Leather in Chicago
The iconic Jeep Gladiator made a comeback after several decades and it’s already a popular topic among truck enthusiasts. A true work horse in base trim, the Gladiator can also be order with premium features and loads of accessories through Mopar. Now, you can also add Katzkin leather via a package that Jeep just showcased at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show.
The Jeep Gladiator Herculean Could Scratch That High-Performance, Off-Road Itch
The Jeep Gladiator only made its debut last November, and, figuratively speaking, at least, it’s already churning the rumor mill like a pro. Word has it that a high-performance version of the Gladiator is already being drawn up, and it’s carrying the name of a Greek god and hero that all of us are very familiar with. The high-performance Gladiator is tipped to carry the name “Hercules,” a nod to the mighty Olympian sired by no less than Zeus himself. Though we’re short an official confirmation from Jeep, the Gladiator Hercules would be a fitting name for a brawnier version of Jeep’s all-new pickup.
2020 Jeep Gladiator

What can we say? The new Jeep Gladiator is here, and we’re about as excited as a kid on Christmas. Maybe even a little more excited. Not only is the Gladiator the Jeep truck that we’ve been begging for but it stays true to the brand’s off-road roots with solid axles, a six-speed manual transmission, massive off-road tires, and some decent mustard under the hood – all the things purists expect and then some. But, besides all of that fun, off-road-inspired goodness, did we mention that it’s based largely on the 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL and that it looks downright sexy? Well, we probably did in on of the many stories we’ve put out on the new Gladiator, but we still can’t keep our eyes off it. That’s why we’ve decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. Well, there’s a ton of amazing wallpapers to choose from so take our favorite for what it is or check out our big gallery below for other options and download as many as you want!
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator’s Little Easter Egg is A Nod To its Production Roots
Thirteen years after introducing the Gladiator concept, Jeep finally came through on its word to launch a production model. The all-new, Wrangler-based Gladiator is a big deal, not just for Jeep, but for the entire pickup segment. We’ve already talked about the Gladiator numerous times in the last few days, but we’re back with another interesting nugget about the pickup. It’s an easter egg included inside the pickup that pays homage to its production roots.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Parades New Upgrades from Mopar in L.A.
The long-anticipated Jeep Gladiator, the company’s first pickup truck in 26 years, made its global debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Not surprisingly, Mopar has already created a range of parts and accessories for the truck and showcased them on a Rubicon model. The most important of which include a two-inch lift kit, spray-in bed liner, and a truck bed storage system.
Mopar has been providing parts and accessories for Chrysler and Fiat cars for decades now, and it also helped Jeep develop quite a few concept vehicles. Naturally, the Gladiator had to be included now that Jeep finally offers a pickup truck. Mopar presented 20 products for the Gladiator in Los Angeles, but more are definitely underway. Let’s have a look at what you can order once the Gladiator goes on sale.
The Jeep Gladiator Stays True to its Roots with a Standard Six-Speed Manual Transmission
A tough pickup truck that we have been dreaming about for ages is finally here. The news of a pickup truck from Jeep’s stable is not new; and by not new, I mean, it’s been doing rounds for almost a decade. Finally, the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator has arrived. The wait has been worth it because it is as tough as it can get, and it comes with manual transmission as it should! Put your tongues back in, purists.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Comes to Take on the Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes to take on the Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma with some serious credentials that puts good faith in the phrase “good things come to those who wait.” The Gladiator rocks out the new Wrangler JL look with a five-foot bed in the rear. It’s downright gorgeous, but it’s not just about what it looks like. This baby can tow up to 7,650 pounds that’s 850 pounds more than the Toyota Tacoma and 650 pounds more than the Chevy Colorado.
Visual Comparison Between the 2020 Jeep Gladiator and the 2005 Jeep Gladiator Concept
With the impending introduction of the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator, I just have to look back at Jeep history and actually compare it with the 2005 Jeep Gladiator Concept. Normally, this would have to wait until its official debut, but thanks to leaked (and what we believe to be official) images, we can diving into comparing old and new straight away. The spiritual concept predecessor appeared in November 2004 and actually represented the then-new Wrangler JK. Of course, I am sure that by its unveiling Jeep wanted to research the market and gain potential customer feedback. Obviously, before a great return of one-ton trucks in the U.S. (like the Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado, for instance) the Jeep one-ton pickup wouldn’t be a logical option. Now, it is, and before the official introduction next week, I am giving you the first chance to see just how different the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator is compared with the Gladiator Concept from 2004.
Here’s Everything We Know About the Jeep Gladiator
After photographs of the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator leaked into the ocean that is the Internet, every single publication started to scrutinize every single piece of information available. Before I get into details of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, I have to tell you something else. For the past few weeks, the three most important car news that appeared aren’t about cars. One is the leak of the baby Bronco, the other is the Aston Martin DBX, and the third is, well, this one - the Jeep Gladiator. See, we live in a world with fantastic roads that stretch everywhere. So, you can basically drive your sedan, sports car, or wagon (if you really must) everywhere, but you are still choosing SUVs, trucks, and other utility vehicles. The timing for this Jeep pickup truck is probably just on point. The Colorado spruced the segment; the Ranger drizzled it with sparkles, and the Frontier, well, it was there all along. Jeep will join this amazing lineup with its one-ton, mid-size Jeep Gladiator - a new truck that will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
