Amazing Wallpapers: The Lamborghini Urus, Aventador SVJ, and Huracan EVO Celebrate Christmas the Right Way

Amazing Wallpapers: The Lamborghini Urus, Aventador SVJ, and Huracan EVO Celebrate Christmas the Right Way

If Santa was Italian he would definitely drive a Lamborghini

Christmas is all about being together with your family and friends, right? Well, here comes Lamborghini, showing us that the same applies to… cars. Come to think of it, Sant’Agata Bolognese’s family of models isn’t a big one, but Lamborghini has always been about more quality and less quantity. So to properly celebrate Christmas, Lamborghini set up a lifestyle-y convoy that’s been traveling around Italy to various points of interest, including the CO2-neutral Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters, the sinuous roads of Alto Adige, and Plan de Corones in the Dolomites, at altitudes of 2,275 meters (7,463 feet), and the AlpiNN restaurant run by Michelin three-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler.

The tour’s main stars were none other than Lamborghini’s V8, V-10, and V-12 powered go-fast machines: the Urus, the Huracan EVO, and the Aventador SVJ. What’s the reason to celebrate, you’re asking? Well, other than the holiday season, an unseen-before boost in sales and profitability for the carmaker. Driven by the Urus super-SUV’s popularity, Lamborghini delivered more than 8,000 cars worldwide, a hefty increase compared to the 5,750 units it shipped in 2018.

But, hey, we didn’t bring you here for boring sales reports and whatnot. You’re here to enjoy a fleet of mean performance cars flaunting their shapes and lines in some of Italy’s most stunning landscapes. Oh, yeah, the drivers weren’t afraid to take the cars out for a fun session in the snow; and if that’s not a proper way to look back on 2019 and reflect on what the new year might bring, we don’t know what is. Who knows, maybe the following pictures will inspire you and your mates to finally kick off that winter road trip you’ve been planning. After all, driving a Lambo is hot juicy fun, yet nothing beats a driving get-together between old friends, regardless of what car each of you use on a daily basis.

These Cool Images Of The 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Are Wallpaper-Worthy

Whether you think the new Countach embodies the original model or not, there’s no denying that it is quite a looker

Lamborghini took the wraps off the 2022 Countach last week and it stirred the proverbial pot. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Countach and the Italian automaker decided to do something special for it. The Countach is based on the Aventador and has elements of the Sian, and of course, a lot of cues of the original Countach as well.

I'm In Love With These 2021 Jaguar F-Type Wallpapers

I’m In Love With These 2021 Jaguar F-Type Wallpapers

The Jaguar F-Type R may have gotten a power bump, but I like the pictures better

Okay, so Jaguar did a lot to freshen up the 2021 F-Type. Sure, it’s not the next-gen (and maybe mid-engined?) model that we wanted, but it looks 10 times better than it used to. Not that it was an ugly car by any means, but those big bug-eye headlights and funky corner vents in the front just weren’t working for it. Neither was the old-school technology that may only be 5 years old but felt much old. Along with the F-Type’s debut, however, came a small handful of images that I just can’t quit looking at, and then it hit me – these will make some awesome wallpapers!

Wallpaper of the Day: Porsche 918

Wallpaper of the Day: Porsche 918

Why not liven up your desktop with a great wallpaper of the Porsche 918?

Today, we want to pay tribute to the Porsche 918 - a cold-hearted, track-ready slayer of the McLaren P1 and Ferrari Laferrari. Powered by a 4.6-liter V-8 and two electric motors, this Porsche supercar can hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, 124 mph in 7.2 seconds, and 186 mph in 23 seconds. Add on the Weissach package and its 77-pound weight reduction, and you’ll hit the same sprints in 2.6, 7.2, and 19.9 seconds, respectively. The exterior is all Porsche, and the design is still represented on new models to this day, but the 918 just stands on its out and is a great throwback, so we’ve labeled it as our wallpaper of the day. We’ve posted our favorite below, but there’s a massive gallery at the bottom of the page for you to choose from.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Ferrari F8 Spider

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Ferrari F8 Spider

Replace the 488 Spider on your desktop with the 2020 F8 Spider!

When Ferrari decided to replace the 488 Spider, we go the F8 Spider – a drop-top version of the F8 Tributo with a carry over of technology and chassis technology from the track-bred 488 Pista. It might not be quite as dynamic as the 488 Pista, but third V-8 powered Italian is good for 710 horsepower and 569 pound-feet of torque – enough to push 60 mph breeze through your hair in just 2.9 seconds. As the epitome of topless performance, the F8 Spider competes against the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and the McLaren 720S Spider, but we’re so stuck on the F8’s design that we’ve decided to feature it as our wallpaper of the day. We’ve chosen our favorite and posted it below, but there’s also a gallery further down the page for you to choose your favorite from. Go ahead and pick your favorite – it’s free!

Wallpaper of the Day: 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

Wallpaper of the Day: 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

The 4C Spider is officially on its last leg, so why not show it one last bit of love?

Now that FCA has finally killed off the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, it has managed to find its way back into our hearts again. Okay, maybe not, but at the same time, we’re still kind of sad to see it go. We can’t help but wonder if it would have met the same fate had Alfa Romeo actually had the money and desire to even so much as give the 4C a mild facelift or any type of update at al throughout its entire lifespan. It just doesn’t seem like the proper end to a model that reintroduced Alfa Romeo to the U.S. market, now does it?

Of course, with the 4C delivering just 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and no funds available to make any type of improvement, the 4C became largely obsolete and too expensive (for its capability) to even compete on the market anymore. So, with the 4C officially at the end of its life, we thought what a better way to send it off than to let it live on in our rotation of daily wallpapers. We’ve picked out our favorite and posted it below, but you can slide on down the page to find a rather large gallery with any 4C wallpaper you could ever want or desire.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 BMW M2 CS Racing

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 BMW M2 CS Racing

It’s an M2 CS for the track, but it’s not as fast

AS BMW Motorsport continues to expand its reach into providing more affordable ways to enter the world of racing, BMW has introduced the 2020 M2 CS Racing. Replacing the M4 GT4 as the entry-level racecar in the lineup, you’ll have to pony up about $105,000 to get one (€95,000) plus tax, of course. Under the hood sits BMW’s S55 2.9-liter inline-six that can be tuned to deliver anywhere between 280 and 365 horsepower depending on the Balance of Performance classification needed. Maximum torque is rated at 405 pound feet (550 Newton-meters) and is transferred to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential. This is the same transmission found in the road-going M2 CS, but with different software tuning for quicker and crispier shifts.

Driver aids include ABS and stability control, but they can be disabled if you determine them unnecessary. Delivery of the M2 CS Racing should begin sometime in mid-2020 but it’s already been thoroughly tested at Miramas in France and Portimao in Portugal. With all of this in mind, we thought the M2 CS Racing would make a great wallpaper candidate, so we’ve added a few desktop wallpapers for you to choose from down below.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Wallpaper of the Day: 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

When Ford introduced the 2020 Shelby GT500 it blew the last-gen model out of the water. Where the old model featured a 5.8-liter supercharged and turbocharged V-8 that was good for 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque, the new 2020 GT500 pushes it to an all-new level. It is nearly 400 pounds heavier, but it pumps out 760 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from a 5.2-liter flat-plane-crank V-8 that features nothing more than a big, fat supercharger sitting on the top of the engine. We’re talking mid-3-second sprints to 60 mph and quarter-mile times that drop into the 10-second range. We were there for the big debut, and we’ve seen it on more than one occasion. To be honest, we keep thinking about it, so we decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. We’ve posted our favorite below, but there’s also a big gallery at the bottom of the page if you want to choose something different for yourself!

Wallpaper of the Day: 2017 Pagani Huayra BC

Wallpaper of the Day: 2017 Pagani Huayra BC

One could argue that the Pagani Huayra was one of the best supercars of the 2010s, but that argument only holds water up to 2017 when Pagani unleashed the Huayra BC. It’s based on the standard Huayra but features an improved V-12 engine, revised aerodynamics, and a race-inspired interior. That V-12 under the hood is good for 739 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque (the roadster has 753 ponies) while 60 mph comes in as fast as 2.8 seconds. Since this AMG-powered beast is a very limited model, we decided we should show it some screen love and decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. We’ve posted our favorite wallpaper below, but there’s a whole gallery at the bottom of the page that you can sift through to find your favorite.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2019 Renault Megane R.S. Trophy-R

Wallpaper of the Day: 2019 Renault Megane R.S. Trophy-R

Powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that’s good for 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, the Megane R.S. Trophy-R is, hands down, the most hardcore Megane ever created. It features unique styling outside like the new hood, body wrap, and red accenting but also has a few interior upgrades as well, sans the requirement that you stick with the smaller infotainment screen. More importantly, Renault managed to shed some 130 kilo off the weight of the standard Megane R.S., so it’s capable of springing to 62.1 mph or 100 kph in as little as 5.4 seconds before topping out at 262 kph or 163 mph. Since we didn’t give the R.S. Trophy-R that much attention, we decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. We’ve added our favorite below, but there’s a whole gallery at the bottom for you to choose from too!

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Ford Mustang R-Spec

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Ford Mustang R-Spec

Today, we’re going down under

There are plenty of awesome Ford Mustangs out there. Think about the Shelby GT350 or the GT500, and let’s not forget about Mustang RTR. These are all Mustangs that we’re allowed to have here in the U.S. provided we have enough money and a wife that’s understanding enough to let us spend a sizeable chunk of money on, and I quote “another damn car.” But, there’s a recent Mustang that was developed specifically for the Australian market, and we just can’t quit thinking about it: The 2020 Ford Mustang R-Spec. It’s actually more powerful than all U.S.-Market Mustangs with the exception of the GT500, thanks to its 5.0-liter V-8 that’s been tuned to deliver 700 horsepower and 610 pound-feet torque. We have no idea how the R-Spec actually performs but, considering it sits between the Shelby GT350 and GT500, we would expect the R-Spec to hit 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and maybe even top out at 190 mph!

Anyway, since we’re having a lust affair for the R-Spec, we figured we’d make it our wallpaper of the day. Check out our pick below or run through the gallery at the bottom of the page for more great wallpapers!

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Audi RS7

Minor aesthetic changes can be a big deal

Audi updated the RS7 for the 2020 model year, and it came with some major improvement across the board. The most important of which is, arguably, the 48-volt mild-hybrid system that doesn’t add any additional power output into the mix, but it does improve fuel efficiency. Paired with the 4.0-liter V-8, the sexy silhouette that is the RS7 will increase your pulse to the tune of 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque – enough for a 3.6-second sprint to 60 mph and a top speed that’s limited to 155 mph. The exterior design didn’t change all that much – the 2020 mode even has identical headlights – but the front fascia and grille have been revised to look sportier and more attractive. Despite the minimal aesthetic changes, we’ve decided to feature the Audi RS7 as our wallpaper of the day. We’ve posted our favorite below, but you can choose your favorite, should it be different, from the rather sizable gallery at the bottom of the page.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato

Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato

The legend in the metal

Aston Martin took the DBS Superleggera and morphed into a limited-edition grand tourer known as the DBS GT Zagato – an Italian coachbuilt beauty that isn’t sold on its own but paired with a DB4 GT continuation that is the spitting image of the iconic model with the same name from back in the 1060s. Under the hood of the DBS GT Zagato sites a 5.2-liter V-12 that pumps out a cold-hearted 760 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This baby can hit 60 mph in 3.3 seconds on the way to an impressive top speed of 211 mph. To put that into perspective, the standard DBS Superleggera has just 664 horsepower and takes 3.4 seconds to get to 60 mph. It also has considerably less torque as well. With DBS GT Zagato making its timely debut not that long ago, we’ve decided that it deserves to spend a little time on the screen as our wallpaper of the day. We’ve displayed our favorite below but, by all means, feel free to pick your favorite from the sizable gallery at the bottom of the page.

Wallpaper of the Day: K5 Chevy Blazer Restomod by RingBrothers

Wallpaper of the Day: K5 Chevy Blazer Restomod by RingBrothers

It doesn’t get better than this!

We don’t usually feature tuner vehicles in our wallpaper of the day series. In fact, we’ve been kind of lazy with our wallpaper of the day series, haven’t we? Well, either way, that’s without consequence at this point. The point is that today, we’re featuring a tuner car or, to be more specific, a restomod. It’s a restomod by none other than RingBrothers, and it’s the best off-road restomod that we’ve ever laid eyes on. It looks like a stock K5 Blazer from a distance, but once you get up close, you’ll see the RingBrothers put in some serious work here. It has custom running boards and side panels, and it has even been lifted by an entire inch to make room for the 17-inch wheels. The interior is wrapped in a subtle leather and under the hood sits a GM-sourced, LS3 crate engine that’s good for 430 ponies. In the end, this thing is downright beautiful, and it reminds us of what SUVs used to be. If you want to know more about the RingBrothers K5 restomod, check out our full review. Otherwise, look down to grab our favorite wallpaper or browse through a rather generous selection that are all available for free download.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2019 Porsche Macan

The Porsche Macan took another

911

inspired update for 2019, ushering in a mid-cycle facelift worthy of the brand name. The front end received heavy revisions, including updated corner vents and an updated grille. The daytime running lights were even lowered too, a move that somehow makes the front end sportier than before. Those quad LED headlights come standard on all models while the new apron is more aggressive than before – a nice touch to say the least. The rear end even took on a new diffuser-like element, if that’s what you would call this better-side-of-bland fascia insert. The interior even took new updates, including a larger infotainment screen and a new steering wheel, while the chassis even saw some updates for better driving dynamics. In the end, the 2019 Macan is a gorgeous piece of German engineering, so we decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. We’ve included a pretty awesome hand-picked example below, but we also have a sizable gallery that’s free for the taking as well. Go ahead and knock yourself out!
