Cranchi
2021 Cranchi A44
In the new season Cranchi Yachts is preparing to present an innovative project in the segment between 40 and 50 feet. Once again it is a yacht that makes its own category: the A44 Luxury Tender is a large luxury tender with unusual and distinctive characteristics that make it ideal also as a dayboat or express cruiser.
The A44 Luxury Tender exalts the fundamental principle of walk-arounds: total freedom of movement without obstacles around the central elements of the cockpit which for this yacht are the large aft sundeck and the sporty pilot console with triple seat in the center of the boat. Whether you use it for a transfer, a day trip or for a longer cruise, this freedom of movement offers practicality, comfort and a sense of pleasure. Aesthetic qualities are confirmed by the design choices that favor soft lines and draw large surfaces and generous dimensions.
2018 Cranchi M 44 HT
A good example of how to build a boat with both good performance and seakeeping, without exceeding with the power of the engines. The interiors layout has taken advantage of every centimeter available.
Limited power, but good performance nevertheless. Savings on fuel usage, maintenance costs and purchase price, without giving up the pleasure of sailing your own boat. How is that possible?
Put simply, one could answer that all it takes is being good at making boats. But obviously, that’s a non-answer, a flippant reply trying to summarise so many – too many – things. And so what could be better than a good example? So here is the Cranchi M44 HT, 14 meters long, 11 tonnes unladen displacement, two bathrooms, two cabins which sleep five, but in the engine room, there are “only” two Volvo Penta D6s which develop 330 hp each.
Very few shipyards have been around for three centuries. Probably none possess technology this advanced.
Cranchi started out as a small yard, but before long Cranchi were taking on bold, ambitious industrial projects, earning a reputation for excellence in Europe and around the world.
It all began in Piantedo, near Sondrio, at premises that Cranchi has maintained and added to with another hightech yard in nearby Rogolo and the "Italo Monzino"Marine Test Centre on the Adriatic, near Udine.
Cranchi also has 104 berths and two covered boatyards for shore-based storage at Darsena Bellagio, where Cranchi carry out pre-delivery inspection and sea trials.
Maybe you’re wondering how Cranchi has managed to come so far? The answer is passion, pure and simple – the only force that can move mountains and conquer oceans.
