Audi recently unveiled its very own charging lounge concept. It is currently opening the first of them to the public at a very visible location, i.e at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center in Germany.
Audi is testing this new charging model in action for the first time with this pilot location. The fast-charging station features reservable high-power charging bays, along with a lounge area with a vending machine that will serve customers as they put some juice back into their EVs.

Every automaker is on the cusp of announcing ambitious plans to switch to electrification. While some have jumped the wagon, some are still on the verge of doing it. The latest automaker to do so is the Japanese giant Nissan. Nissan has revealed its ‘Nissan Ambition 2030’ plan that includes 23 electrified models coming out of the automaker’s stable this decade. To give a glimpse of what to expect, Nissan has revealed four EV concepts. None of them are anywhere close to a production model, but this shows Nissan will re-shape itself as an EVmaker in the ongoing paradigm shift.
