Japanese sports cars from the 1990s are some of the most recognized ones amongst the car culture. As described by Jeremy Clarkson, in a movie about the Nissan Skyline GT-R, Japan took over the world…and then lost it. While the latter is a topic for another time, what is true for the Skyline also goes for these three – the Toyota Supra, Nissan 300Z, and Mazda RX-7. Our colleagues from “EverydayDriver” - Todd Deeken and Paul Schmucker - take us on a spirited drive with these three JDM legends to determine the pros and cons of each and why they are so desired.

Performance versions of the Ford Mustang have always been sought-after, by collectors. We have models like the original Shelby GT350 R, Shelby GT500, or BOSS 302, but for many, the top of the cherry, the big daddy, is considered to be the BOSS 429. But for all its performance credentials, the BOSS 429 had weight-distribution issues, which is why, in 1969, Ford decided to experiment with a mid-engine version of the BOSS 429, dubbed the LID Mustang.

Regardless of the generation, the Chevrolet Corvette is often the go-to platform for epic conversions. Whether you want to recreate a classic design, like the Zagato IsoRivolta GTZ, on top of a modern chassis or create something entirely new, like the Ares Design S1, it seems the Corvette is able to take it. With this in mind, Dean “Dino” Arnold has been doing Corvette conversions for decades and has created some truly epic stuff. Moreover, he’s far from done, as he is working on three, high-performance builds, based on the C7 Corvette.

We love celebrating car birthdays and this year is the Lamborghini Jalpa’s 40th anniversary. The car that was once considered the entry-level Lamborghini has now become 40 years old, having been produced between 1981 and 1988. Social media is often the source of information on some of the most epic cars, ever made. With this in mind, the Facebook group, Exotic Cars For Sale By Owner, currently has a very interesting listing – a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport continuation car, built in 2015, by Duntov Motor Company, which also happens to be a star from an MTV music video.

The Petersen Automotive Museum has confirmed a new exhibit that will discover the world of Hypercars, featuring some of the fastest and most exotic cars that money can buy, starting December 4, 2021. The Exhibit Hypercars: The Allure of the Extreme will rotate up to 30 vehicles over the coming 18 months to showcase what a Hypercar really stands for, and why they continue to entice the automotive community the world over.

A while back, Ferrari promised that it will be more unpredictable in regard to its upcoming models. It seems the Italian company relies on its ultra-exclusive Icona models in order to do so, as it recently unveiled the $2.26-million Ferrari Daytona SP3, of which only 599 will be made. This, however, will not be the only model we see from Ferrari’s Icona program, as the company is working on more special projects, with V-12 power.

The Dodge Viper is one of the most distinctive sports cars ever made. It started in the 1990s, with the idea of recapturing the spirit of the 1960s Shelby Cobra and Carroll Shelby, himself, was attached to the Viper’s development. Sadly, the last Viper rolled off the production line in August 2017, and it doesn’t look like there’s going to be a new one. The Chevrolet Corvette has established itself as the definitive American sports car. But some people have their own version of the perfect Corvette and Richard Smith, who was a GM technician, went to great lengths to build his vision of the perfect 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. This is the story of a 1968 Corvette named “the Beast”.

It’s safe to say that Porsche has a version of the 911 for everyone. Currently, there are 21 versions of the iconic rear-engine sports car available, and that’s before we get to the special editions like 911 Speedster or anything Porsche can cook up for you, through their “Sondewunsch” program. But apparently, this isn’t enough and Porsche is coming up with more special versions – three of them to be exact – and here’s what we know about them.

Such is the case with this Porsche 992 GT3 “956 Edition”.

Nowadays, the brand is has been revived and the Alpine A110 is a faithful reboot to the original 1961 A110. What many don’t know, however, is that the original A110 is actually an evolution of an older model – the much less known A108.

Gone are the days when Legos were just building blocks for small kids. Once people realized they can be fun for adults also, Legos suddenly became a serious passion. Companies realized this, too, and started making models of all shapes, sizes, and types. The latest Lego “artifact” that has caught our attention is this 1:8 scale model of the GTA Spano. It isn’t just a ‘model’; it comes with a set of motors that makes it mobile. In fact, it is officially the world’s fastest Lego model! The scale model has a top speed of 23 mph! Pretty cool, huh?
