This Crazy Mix Of Porsche 911, Maserati Gran Turismo, And Nissan 350Z Will Make Your Day
Man’s imagination knows no bounds and when it comes to cars, we often see some truly epic creations. Luckily, the internet makes it possible for us to see these creations, and this interesting mix of Porsche Maserati and Nissan is the latest we have stumbled upon.
Is This REALLY The Fastest Nissan 350Z On The Planet?
We’ve seen our fair share of tuned Nissan 350Z over the sports car’s long career. Some are good examples of what a tweaked Z should be while other are festivals of tasteless work. Mountainpass Performance’s 350Z falls in the first category. Even more, it’s built with racing in mind (not street racing, though) and it even packs an electric motor.
The Difference Between $20,000 and $50,000 Custom Nissan 350Zs Will Surprise You
The Nissan 350Z is still one of the most popular choices for people out there looking to go all out on a project car. Thanks to a rather solid base, at least for its time, and one that’s easy to modify in, effectively, all areas, the 350Z has been the star of countless tuning shows for over 15 years already and people are still customizing, racing, drifting, and showing the Z33 off to this day.
In this context, it’s worth asking one of the toughest questions out there: is spending a lot of money on your ride really worth it or can you genuinely shine on a budget?
Fail of the Week: Nissan 350Z vs Dumb Girl
So what we have here is a Nissan 350Z with a Rocket Bunny Body kit, sans a front bumper, looking, well, ugly. Now, usually, this would be something that you just dismiss after seeing – the owner probably just didn’t know how to drive and lost his front fascia trying to drift. But, instead, the owner – and what we assume is his girlfriend – decided to take the amount of dumb to astounding levels. “Let me do a backflip on the roof, she said.” And, so it was. She climbs on top, sets up like she’s a professional gymnast, and proceeds to do said backflip. It was at that very moment that it became painfully clear that this girl wasn’t a professional gymnast. A professional gymnast would have landed in the same place she started. This girl however, penetrated that poor 350Z from behind in the worst of ways. Intrigued? Well, we’ve watched it quite a few times and can’t quit laughing, so check it out for yourself:
Seriously, Nissan? Give us a New Freaking Z-Car Already!!!
With the Nissan 370Z debuting way back in 2008, it’s about damn time for Nissan to bless us with a new successor. Sure, it’s been updated on a somewhat regular basis and is fairly modern at this point, but its replacement is long overdue. Unfortunately, Nissan doesn’t see it that way, and instead of bringing us a new Z-car for 2018, we end up getting the 370Z Heritage edition. That model gets revised exterior lights, and some special paint to trim inside and out. Outside of the new Exedy, high-performance clutch, it’s just another damned special edition. I was really hoping Nissan blew its special-edition budget with all of those pointless special editions in Chicago earlier this year, but I guess not.
The worst part is that the Z-Car’s next big move is so clouded in mystery and uncertainty that it’s enough to give just about any enthusiast a raging hate boner and then some. So, where does the road to the next Z-Car take us? At this point, your guess is as good as any because Nissan doesn’t even know. In fact, in light of that new “Heritage Edition” I mentioned earlier, Nissan may make the next Z a damned crossover… Yikes! Back in 2014, we heard that news that the next Z-car would have multiple engine options, including a four-cylinder hybrid engine (for those of you who don’t know, the Z has always had a six-cylinder.) In mid-2015, it was said that the next Z-car would be a revolution, with hints that it would take on the Toyota 86, which means it’s going to lose in the power department and probably get a little smaller.
But, that’s not the latest news either. Just six months or so ago, fuel was added to the fire when Car Advice reported the next Z-Car would be a crossover, and it was backed up thanks to the Gripz concept that we saw in 2015. And, the trail goes cold yet again, with 2018 bringing us the “Heritage Edition” that will be previewed at the New York Auto Show.

To be considered even halfway decent, every car movie has to have its vehicular villain. Bullitt had the Dodge Charger, Death Proof had the Chevy Nova, and Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift… well, it had this fifth-generation Nissan Z. Complete with an extensive wide-body aero kit and menacing black-and-grey paint job, this thing comes packing real performance under the hood, which means all that wastegate flutter you hear ain’t just for show. This is the Drift King’s 350Z.
Universal pumped out 11 copies of the car for stunt duties, each bearing the same body kit and large, 19-inch wheels. Most were bought used in Japan and sent to California for modification and filming. However, only two were equipped with turbos, and luckily, both survived film production without getting blown up or stuffed into a wall.
And it’s a good thing too, because now they can be enjoyed outside the confines of the silver screen.
Updated 08/06/2015: This car just went up for sale through Cheshire Classic Cars here, making for one helluva Fast & Furious collectible. However, the future owner will have to be committed, as it’s priced at £149,995 – roughly $233,000 at current exchange rates. Yikes.

Supercars are our bread and butter. They are not only super-fast, but they also look amazing and are very rare. With all of those awesome features also comes a super price. This means that the normal person that reads about them can’t pull off the kind of financial gymnastics to afford one.
For these people (us included), we have a special list of sports cars that you can typically find for $9,999 or less, making them an obtainable goal. This may require dipping back a few years, but you’ll still get yourself a nice car that is both quick and agile. Sure, it may not have fancy leather, a killer stereo system, navigation, Bluetooth, or any other modern features, but you will get yourself a true sports car.
There are literally thousands of cars we can choose from in this group, so we have to make some tough decisions on who gets in and who’s left out.

For the most part, when you get together a big group of tuners – we mean real tuners, not some dude that throws 500 lbs of plastic and chrome on his ride and calls it a “tuner” car – there are several clear divides. One of the biggest divides is between the Nissan group and the Toyota group. As the No. 2 and 3 import tuner cars, respectively, there is no love lost between them. In real life they respect each other – for the most part – but under the hood, they despise one another.
This is why you never see a Nissan-meets-Toyota kind of monster build. You’ll see domestic engines in Hondas and vice versa, but you never ever see someone take a Nissan car and drop a Toyota powerplant in it. Well, until now!
Steven Mills, in collaboration with ISS Forged and Tech 2 Motorsports, decided, like many others in the world, that the VQ35 engine found in his 350Z was not up to snuff, even with a wide array of mods. So he yanked it out and dropped in a Nissan powerplant. Oh, you would like to know what engine he swapped it out for. You will be surprised, we are sure of it.
Click past the jump to find out about the engine and read our full review.
Back in the 1990s, Nissan was knees deep in sports cars. These sports cars began with the Sentra SE-R, then moved to the mid-range 240SX, and at the top end was the 300ZX. Even after the Sentra SE-R was eliminated in 1995, the 200SX SE-R, which was little more than a restyled Sentra, came into existence.
In the late 1990s, this all went away, as the 300ZX disappeared after 1996, and the 200SX and 240SX vanished in 1999. The Z-car was resurrected with the 350Z, then the 370Z, but the SX lineup has since remained dormant. Now with Subaru and Toyota teaming up to bring a new mid-level sports car to the marketplace, Nissan has again begun talks of releasing its own mid-level sports car.
According to Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald, Nissan’s head of design said "It is the time to look at that [smaller engines]. With 370Z, we still don’t know next generation will have a larger or smaller engine." The chances of a Z-car with a lower engine size are rather doubtful, given that it has always increased in size throughout its entire lifespan. Plus you have to add in that the Z-car crowd is a tight-knit group that will likely not take change too well.
Those points all lead to Nissan possibly creating an all-new mid-level sports car, maybe even bearing the “SX” nameplate. A good possibility could be a 250SX bearing the same – or maybe better version of – the 200-horsepower, 2.5-liter engine found in the 2012 Sentra SE-R. This could also spawn a base level 200SX that has the 140-horsepower engine that you can find in the base 2012 Sentra, maybe with a few upgrades to punch up the power a bit.
Given the fact that the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT 86 are not speed demons, Nissan would need to worry more about it looking and handling well, as opposed to making it a screamer. As of now, this is purely speculation, but it damn sure would be a cool thing to see!
Image is of the 2011 Nissan Esflow Concept which is said to preview the future sports car.
The only Nissan sports car that us on everyone’s mind at the moment is the Nissan 370Z, so there’s a good chance that many have already forgotten about the old 350Z. Senner Tuning, however, has not and they have come up with a pretty cool upgrade package for the sports roadster. The package includes a polished exterior package, as well as an impressive upgrade under the hood. All of these changes do come at a significant cost, though. The package is priced at 23,900 Euro, or about $32,000 at the current exchange rates.
The exterior of the Nissan 350Z starts off with a chrome package for the front and rear blinkers, and the Z-symbol. A new LED Z-symbol has also been added on the back lights, as well as a new set of 20" matte black polished wheels.
The most significant changes were made under the hood. Thanks to some changes to the compressor and the addition of a new exhaust system, the engine’s output has been increased from 280 HP to an amazing 411 HP. Peak torque also went up from 267 lb-ft up to 342 lb-ft. Nothing has been said about how these power upgrades affected performance times, but they have surely been increased from the standard 0-60 mph sprint time of 5.4 seconds and top speed of 155 mph.
For anyone that was suckered into watching The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, first I am sorry for the 104 minutes of your life you’ll never get back. However, if you made it through the entire movie without going catatonic, you likely remember the scene where Sean races D.K. through the parking garage and D.K. pulls off this sweet drift up the entire parking garage ramp – you know, that constant loop that goes from floor to floor.
Being that’s the only part of the movie that’s really cool, I remember that scene well and I have never assumed it was possible in real life. I certainly guessed wrong on that one, as this video shows a guy drifting up the entire round-a-round until he reaches the top, with a chaser car following him.
It’s hard to see exactly what car he’s running, due to the body kit and graininess of the video. From what I can tell from the headlights, taillights and the sound of the exhaust, I think it is an early-1990s Nissan 300Z, a very heavily modified one at that.
Just for safety’s sake, you can tell that this is a professional setup with the entire parking garage vacated. Please don’t go running to the nearest parking garage and start drifting your car up the ramps.
For all intents and purpose, this full body kit for the Nissan 350Z looks pretty cool, although there might be a little confusion on the front bumper. Anyone else think it looks remarkably similar to the Mansory Porsche Panamera? We don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but we’re prepared to let it pass.
The work on this 350Z was done by WEBER Sports, which introduced the car at the Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year. It’s chalked loaded with a full body kit that includes the aforementioned front bumper, a new bonnet with air ducts, side sills, a rear wing, a rear bumper, an under duct center, and plenty of carbon fiber components to go around.
All things considered, the whole kit looks awesome on the 350Z, arguably one of the most underrated Japanese sports cars in recent time. While there are some items that leave a lot to be desired - the front bumper being one of them - the overall treatment given by WEBER Sports on the sports car makes it an eye-catching piece of metal orange fire ball.
In today’s day and age, teenagers are often castigated for being a little too obnoxious with their demands. Not that all teens are like this, but for sure, there are those that feel entitled to have everything they want and will try to through crazy lengths to get it.
Take this 17-year old Florida teenager, for example. In her determined and desperate attempt to buy a car, she ended up pistol-whipping her mother and forced her to drive at gunpoint to a Nissan dealership in Fort Myers, Florida.
When the teenager went to the Sutherlan Nissan dealership and was told that she needed a co-signer to be able to buy a used 350Z, the teenager asked her mother if she could co-sign the papers for the car. When the mother said no, she pulled out the gun and threatened her mother.
Needless to say, the young girl didn’t get the car and is now being detained at a juvenile detention center. As any mother would want to protect their child, the mother of this crazy teen refused to press charges against her daughter out of fear that it would be frowned upon by some Ivy League universities that have apparently accepted her.
The police, however, arrested her anyway upon learning that the gun she used to threaten her mother was stolen last year and she was not charged in that particular crime.
Just goes to show that what goes around, certainly comes around. Poor mom.
When you think of Nissan, one of the first cars that pop into your head is the famous Nissan 350Z. Yes, it’s true Nissan brought the 370Z on the market as well, but the 350Z is and will always remain a true sports car. The proof is in the pudding and, today, the pudding consists of yet another tuning company taking a crack at the 350Z.
The European tuner, Unichip, revealed a new customization program that improves the engine’s specifications using only a Unichip Uni-Q Ecu. With this technology, the tuner managed to raise the output by 20 HP and 26 lb.ft of torque, to an impressive 284 HP and 262 lb.ft. Also, with an additional Unichip boost control module, the Uni-Q is also suitable for Nissan 350Z turbocharger conversions and is flexible enough to handle any future additional engine modifications.
The Uni-Q’s sophisticated system works by "intercepting the signals from the Nissan 350Z’s factory sensors, which are channelled through the Uni-Q, allowing the engine’s ignition and fuelling to be remapped to a high degree of control – and performance."
The Uni-Q is available at any of the 28 UniChip dealers in the UK.

Snowy road conditions are always a handful to deal with, even for experienced drivers. The driver of this Nissan 350Z found that out first-hand after an accident resulted with his sports teetering on a metal guardrail in New York last week.
We don’t have details on the accident and how this 350Z ended up playing see-saw on the guardrail, but we figure that it may have something to do with the treacherously dangerous road conditions the Northeast has been plagued in for the past couple of weeks.
Note to drivers: be very careful in driving on poor road conditions because of the inherent, and not to mention, obvious, dangers that lie ahead.
This Nissan 350Z can surely attest to that.
The sights at SEMA expand well beyond the air conditioned exhibit halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center and manage to spill onto the sidewalks and driveways surrounding the enclosed building. One such example of automotive excellence that just didn’t quite make it indoors is this wide body Nissan 350Z. It only takes a quick glance to see what makes this Japanese sports car so special, and as you slowly make your way around the vehicle you can see the color shifting Kameleon paint in action as it changes from an aqua green to a deep purple depending on how the light is reflecting off the Z’s aftermarket bodywork and onto your optic receptors.
While this custom House of Kolor paint is more than enough to make any automobile stand out from the crowd, this 350Z’s owner went a step further with a winged wide body kit and a set of 20 inch Speed Star Rims to fill the now oversized wheel wells. Hidden away inside the multi spoke rollers is a big brake kit from Stoptech, which will come in handy, especially because of the Stillen supercharger bolted to the top of the VQ35.
If looks could kill, this car can definitely take a bite out of you – and yeah, it’s got some power behind that bite too.
This car is the Project Zed dragste, a car powered by a Nissan 350Z and is created, owned, and driven by John Bradshaw. The car is currently headed to the FIA European Finals at the Santa Pod Raceway where it is set to unleash its fury on those lucky enough to witness it.
This car is more than just a menace on the hood – it’s got some massive power underneath it too. Then again, having a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces as much as 1,900 horsepower can be considered as a monster, right?
Continued after the jump.
Despite the fact that its days are over as a production vehicle, the Nissan 350Z will remain a dream car in most sports car enthusiasts eyes. As warranties from the one time new car begin to expire and used car prices keep dropping, this is the perfect opportunity for one group of automotive consumers to take the rear wheel drive Nissan and turn it into something special, those individuals are tuners. The tuning house Senner is one such example, coming out with a new performance package that not only increases the engine’s output, but also the car’s appearance.
Senner produces more power thanks to a free flowing exhaust complete with titanium tailpipes and a stylish Carbon Airbox. These basic power parts are combined with a reprogrammed engine computer that optimizes the air and fuel maps to create the optimum mixture in the combustion chamber to make as much power as possible. The 350Z’s 3.5 Liter VQ35DE now delivers a maximum output of 338 HP, up form the standard car’s 300 HP rating.
On the outside Senner add new front grille and fender inserts, a new rear wing with an integrated brake light, Lambo style doors from LSD, chrome gas cap cover and 20 inch rims wrapped in Continental tires. The sports inspired ride is further improved by a 30 mm drop in ride height thanks to the new lowering springs while the chassis is strengthened with a strut tower brace. So if you are in the market for a fun to drive machine that is truly all your own, think about picking up a gently used sports car and thanks to the savings, the sky is the limit.
If you’re a true concept car aficionado, then you might have heard the name Lars Mårtensson pop up in a quite a number of conversations you’ve had with your peers. If you don’t know who he is, then allow us to give you a brief introduction. Mårtensson is a Swedish design professional who has made quite a name for himself for designing a number of different manufacturer’s concept cars into something straight out of his own creative imagination.
One of Mårtensson’s creations is the Datsun 240Z concept car, a car he rendered based on the original Datsun 240Z, one of the earliest and most successful Japanese cars to hit American shores back in the 70’s. Mårtensson’s decision to take a stab in creating a 240Z concept came as a response to reports that two Nissan cars, the 350Z and the 370Z, were created in the mold of the original 240Z.

Nissan will unveil the coupe version of the 2009 370Z at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but it seems the roadster version will solider on alone for at least one more year.
It is on sale now in three models, Enthusiast, Touring and Grand Touring – each equipped with a standard VQ35HR 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 306 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque and a choice of 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions.
Base pricing is as follows: 350Z Enthusiast $36,870 - $37,870, 350Z Touring $39,220 - $40,220, 350Z Grand Touring $41,570 - $42,570.
Nissan will unveil at the Paris Motor Show this autumn the revised Nissan 350Z. Instead of a regular 3.5 liter engine, the new model will be powered by the same 3.7 engine that is being used in the Infiniti G37. The new engine means a new name for the future sports car: 370Z.
Even if there is no info about how the power will increase, we are sure that there will be a big difference between the current 350Z and the future 370Z. The history tells it: starting with 130 hp for the first generation, up to 145 hp, 160hp, 222hp and 306 for the current 350Z.
Nissan today announced pricing on the 2008 Nissan 350Z lineup, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. The 2008 350Z is available in Coupe and Roadster body styles and in an array of models - five for the Coupe (including the NISMO 350Z) and three for the Roadster. Again for 2008, the legendary Z(R) features a standard VQ35HR 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 306 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque.
A Japanese magazine presented a few renderings of what is thought to be the highly anticipated 2009 Nissan 350Z. The current 350Z is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, but is believed to get a 3.7 liter engine in 2009 (this mean that the new sportscar Nissan will get the 370Z name).
Who is NISMO you all know. But about their latest project I am sure you don’t know yet. Nissan and NISMO worked together on the 350Z and made it even more powerful: the 3.8 liter engine has now an output of 350 hp: 44 hp more than the original engine.
According to GT Channel, Nissan has finished working on a retractable hardtop convertible version of the 350Z. The new version is set to be unveiled in 2009. The new version of the 350Z will use the current chassis as a test mule.
Also GT Channel reports that Nissan will bring a facelift 350Z in a prototype form at this years Tokyo Motor Show.
Nissan today announced the pricing for the 2007 Nissan NISMO 350Z. With a MSRP of $38.070, the 350 Nismo will be available for sale starting July. The 2007 Nismo features an extensively developed list of unique equipment - including a special aerodynamics package and improved handling equipment.

Nissan has announced the price of the new 350Z, with its uprated engine, to give a starting figure of £26,795 OTR for the Coupe and £28,295 OTR for the Roadster, representing an increase of only £300. This also includes the recently announced rise in road tax (up £90) and the first registration fee (up £12). Vehicle deliveries are expected to start from mid May.

A 20 years-old kid decided to trade his 2006 Honda Civic for the much more powerful Nissan 350Z. But only after three day, he and his girlfriend were involved in a terrible car crash, and his 350Z was split into two pieces. He lost control over his car and hit a tree on the edge of the road.
His girlfriend was more lucky than he was. She was taken to the hospital and she will be ok. He was taken to the hospital

For the first time ever in the Nissan Z’s 37-year history, a high-performance NISMO 350Z is part of the extensive Z lineup. The new 2007 Nissan NISMO 350Z, which makes its North American debut at the 2007 New York International Auto Show, features an extensively developed list of unique equipment – including a special body package and improved handling equipment. This new model, the fifth in the 2007 350Z Coupe lineup, is available with a 6-speed manual transmission only. It goes on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in July 2007.
Fred Chang’s project cars have graced the pages of more publications than Pamela Anderson’s spreads (no pun intended) have been in men’s magazines. And with good reason. He chooses only the highest quality parts, enlists the most reputable tuning shops and his builds demonstrate that form and function can go hand-in-hand. Fred’s Nissan 350Z may seem tame compared to some of his other projects, but it is precisely for this reason that it is January’s cover car.
To keep his car unique, Fred (...)

Have you believed that for a car that has a great top speed you have to pay millions of dollars? Well no, you are wrong! You can buy a car with a very good top speed and pay between $25000 and $30000.
Ties were settled first by quarter-mile time, then by which was quicker to the highest speed both cars achieved (usually 120 or 130 mph), in that order. Most cars at this price point offer basic luxury or at least decent amenities and looks in addition to speed, as buck-banger boy-racer (...)
In late 2003, we suffered the fate of a torrential rainfall that put our beloved shop under four feet of water ( Flood). It almost wiped us out entirely. At Los Angeles Auto Show, next to all-new Sentra SE-R and Altima coupe, Nissan presented a preview for the 2007 350Z. It will use the same engine as the all-new Infiniti G35 and produce 306 hp.
The 306 hp output for the 2007 350Z means 17 - 20 hp more than the 2006’s actual output. The new Nissan 350Z is not expected to debut earlier than 2008, and will get the same treatment the G35 (...)
The Nissan 350Z has added another award to its bulging trophy cabinet by picking up the gong for Japanese Performance Car of the Year for 2007, announced in the December issue (on sale now). Beating off competition from rivals including the Mazda RX-8, the Mistubishi Evo IX and the Subaru Impreza, the 350Z was praised for its “stunning looks, equipment levels and value for money.”
Chris Rees, Editor of Japanese Performance Car described why the 350Z took the crown: “The Nissan 350Z sums up (...)
Nissan has created a limited edition of the 350Z. With a supercharged engine, the GT-S will go on sale later this year.
The supercharger can be switched on and off with a dash-mounted button. Buyers will have to pay $67000 for this super Z.
Also the next-generation Micra is already on the drawing board ready for 2009 and a new Cube supermini-MPV is also expected.
Nissan is preparing an evolutionary design for the 2009 350Z, a design that softens some of the harder edges of the current model. One of the biggest changes will be a wider track, that will necessitate extended wheel flares front and rear.
The front will get a slimmer look, with a less upright airdam and smaller headlight clusters. Mechanically the 2009 350Z is not expected to change much. It will be powered by the same V6 engine, probably with a bigger output, somewhere arround 325hp. (...)

Nissan will be showing off in many ways at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed (7-9 July) from a race winning 350Z never seen before in Europe to a couple of new, speed themed concept cars making their international debuts. The company will also be making a bid for the title of fastest vehicle at the Festival … with a Nissan Primera.

For 2006, the dramatic Nissan 350Z sports car receives its first comprehensive updating since its introduction in the United States market in August 2002. The changes to the Z, which has sold over 100,000 units in its first three years, include a revised front end appearance, enhanced interior, LED taillights, a new vehicle speed-sensitive power steering system, refined optional navigation system and available RAYS super lightweight 18-inch front/19-inch rear 5-spoke forged alloy wheels (Coupe only.
First introduced as a 2004 model, the 350Z Roadster receives most of the enhancements of the Z Coupe for 2006 (except the forged alloy wheels), making a great open-air sports car even more attractive. The Z Roadster features a power-operated soft top with glass rear window, which transforms from top-up to top-down in about 20 seconds.
Thirty-five years since its first appearance in North America, the high performance Z® sports car returns in 2005 with a special commemorative 35th Anniversary model, along with a number of other enhancements, continuing the Z® heritage of design, performance and value that has remained unchallenged since the original Datsun 240Z was introduced as a 1970 model.
The commemorative model, one of six 350Z Coupe models offered in 2005 (along with three 2005 Nissan 350Z Roadster models), is highlighted by a higher performance version of the Z®’s standard 3.5-liter V6. The engine, which is available only with the 6-speed manual transmission, produces 300 horsepower versus the standard 287-horsepower V6. The 35th Anniversary Z® makes its industry debut at the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas on November 2nd, followed by its first public appearance at the Miami Auto Show in early November.
Nissan Motorsport International - NISMO - specially developed a version of the 350Z to celebrate their win in the Japanese 2004 GT500 Touring Car Championship. It’s called the NISMO 350Z S-tune GT and is a road-going version of the race car. 20 are hand-built every month in Japan and the car driving at Goodwood, specially imported by Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd, is believed to be the only one in the UK. The S-tune has extended front and rear bumpers, side-sills and a rear wing modelled on the GT car. As if that wasn’t enough, NISMO five-spoke 19" wheels, racing stripes and pearlescent white paint will ensure this Nissan gets noticed in the Brooklands paddock.
NISMO had it easy with the Spec V. In stock form, the fastest of the Sentras is far from its potential and NISMO, as we saw in last month’s test, can work wonders with that scenario. Things aren’t so easy in the land of Z. The 350Z, though certainly not at the limit of its chassis’ capabilities, leaves relatively little on the table in stock form.
The 300ZX Turbo was the embodiment of brains and brawn. Introduced in 1989 as a 1990 model, the fourth-generation turbocharged car received rave reviews from the automotive media and sent Corvette designers scrambling to meet the Nissan’s 300 hp.
