Hennessey Performance is celebrating Christmas by delivering Christmas trees as fast as possible. The company’s previous sleigh, a Jeep Trackhawk, managed to deliver it by touching speeds of up 181 mph. But, this time, they want to get it done even faster. So, they’ve upgraded their sleigh to an Audi RS6 Avant that’s been tuned to make 800 reindeer; err., I mean 800 horses. They tried the same with a tuned Porsche 911 Turbo S recently, but it failed. But, the Audi RS6 Avant managed to break the record and is now officially Hennessey’s fastest Christmas tree transporter!

Christmas day is literally three days away, and if you haven’t set up your Christmas trees yet, then you’re in a lot of trouble. Fortunately, there are ways to get a tree up and standing in your living rooms in no time. You can buy a plastic one in Walmart and set that one up, or you can go to a Lowe’s and get a natural one. If you decide on doing the latter, John Hennessey of Hennessey Performance has a suggestion on how to buy one quickly and transport it at 174 mph.

Some years ago Cadillac tied a Christmas tree to the roof of a CTS-V Wagon to perform a holiday burnout. Six years later, Hennessey Performance tied a tree to a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk to give us the world’s fastest Christmas tree. Sort of.

Hennessey Performance was out at the Pennzoil proving grounds in Sealy, Texas once again, with their Venom 775 taking on an equally aggressive Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Let’s look at the numbers on these two machines to see how they stack up against each other, shall we?

If the VelociRaptor 600 name sounds familiar to you is because the name has a history on the market. Hennessey actually just announced the third generation based on the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor.

The model will be limited to only 250 units and has a starting price of $85,950. However, with all the available packages and optional features, the price usually goes in the region of $110,000 - including the stock Ford F-150 Raptor.

Hennessey, the famous Texas tuner and producer of some absolutely insane automobiles, adds another special edition to its repertoire, this time based on the Ford Bronco. It’s not their first, as they debuted the full-fledged Ford Bronco VelociRaptor with a 750 horsepower V-8 engine last October. This is, however, that VelociRaptor’s little brother.

From deep within the bowels of Hennessey comes a very unexpected project that involves a 2021 Ford Mustang, the black and white color scheme of the Le Mans-winning Ford GT40 of 1966, and 808 horsepower of full-on, all-American muscle. Okay, maybe I’m over-selling it a little bit, as it is essentially just a rehash of Hennessey’s Heritage Edition from 2018 with a different color. But hey, this is Top Speed, and we love go-fast cars – this Mustang is certainly that, and I want to tell you a little more about it.

Dodge unveiled a special-edition model of the Challenger Redeye Widebody last year called the Challenger Super Stock. The car comes with the famous 6.2-liter, V-8 supercharged HEMI engine that churns out over 800 horses. Hennessey brought this car over to its factory and equipped it with its HPE1000 Performance Upgrade package. The result? 1,000+ horses on paper, but around 800 horses on the dyno. In Hennessey’s defense, it is still more than the Challenger Super Stock’s dyno figures.

The latest car to undergo the Hennessey transformation is the 2020 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. The tuner has equipped its famed HPE1000 package in this car and it now makes 1,000 horses. The changes on the outside and inside are subtle, but massive under the hood. We’re yet to hear about the official 0-60 mph time and the top speed, but it will certainly outperform the standard GT500.

Hennessey just finished concocting the Mammoth SUV, which is essentially a Ram 1500 TRX turned into a seven-seater that packs 1,012 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. It just doesn’t get more Hennessey than that.

When you hear about a Hennessey build, you know it’s going to be fast and powerful. And it’s not just supercars, either, as the company has injected even SUVs and trucks with doses of steroids in the past and continues to do so. Recently, the company uploaded a video on YouTube wherein John Hennessey talks about his plan to plonk Mopar’s Hellephant engine into the Ram 1500 TRX and the Dodge Durango SRT.

Bullet-proof vehicles aren’t uncommon anymore. We’ve seen a lot of SUVs and sedans transformed into beasts that can take bullets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But, how about a bullet-proof pickup truck? AddArmor has transformed a truck into a safe room on wheels, and the truck is none other than the Hennessey VelociRaptor!

Back in September 2020, Hennessey announced the introduction of a six-wheeled iteration of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX called the Mammoth 6x6. The super-exclusive truck was limited to just three examples and was priced at half-a-million bucks a pop. Even though it sounded super exciting, a more practical version of the truck would’ve been a better option. It looks like Hennessey has answered our wishes.

The aftermarket company’s latest project is a 1,000+ Horsepower ‘four-wheeled’ version of the Ram 1500 TRX. It comes with a host of other mechanical additions and features. Hennessey has also announced that it will build 200 examples of this truck.

Aftermarket companies are snapping at new vehicles like hungry vultures; a case in point being the Ford Bronco. Companies like PaxPower, Saleen, and Hennessey, to name a few, have already made big announcements about it without even getting the car in flesh yet. Now, Hennessey has scalped another popular product from the house of the Blue Oval – the 2021 Ford F-150. Following up on the Venom 775 treatment given to its predecessor, the 2021 iteration is being built with extra horses, better performance figures, and beefier looks. Hennessey also announced that it will be making just 100 examples of the Venom 800.

The only chink in Bronco’s armor is the missing V-8 engine under the hood. Although Ford matched the Jeep Wrangler in every aspect, dare I say, even better in some, the lack of a V-8 will be a deal-breaker for some folks. However, aftermarket tuners have grabbed on to this opportunity. PaxPower was one of the first companies to announce a Bronco V-8 and soon many companies jumped the wagon. The latest one to do so is Hennessey Performance.

Hennessey has announced that it will be building a VelociRaptor version of the Ford Bronco with a V-8 mill that will churn out 750 horses. This will be a limited-edition build and will cost around four-times the cost of a standard Bronco. Is it worth it?

Earlier this year, Tuscany collaborated with Harley-Davidson to roll out a special edition GMC Sierra that was limited to just 250 examples. Around the same time, Hennessey had rolled out the GMC Sierra Denali Goliath 700. The truck came with 700 horses under the hood and transformed the simple Sierra into a magnificent beast. But, how do you combine the finesse of a Harley-Davidson edition truck and the performance of a Hennessey product? Well, you get them together!

An individual purchased the Harley-Davidson Sierra and took it to Hennessey for a performance upgrade. As the team says in the video, is this the Harley for a rainy day?

After coming up with the 6x6 version of the world’s fastest and quickest production pickup truck, the Ram 1500 TRX, there was a lot of curiosity surrounding Hennessey’s next project. As it turns out, the company chose the world’s most powerful production SUV this time to give it a typical Hennessey twist. The aftermarket company has announced that it will be coming up with a 1,000-plus-horsepower iteration of the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

Hennessey Performance is known to heavily tune the vehicles it takes under its wings. This isn’t a marginal increase as many products to date have been tuned to make around 1,000 horses. As if this wasn’t enough to hype the products, the tuner often hosts drag races with other supercars and SUVs to give us a glimpse and perspective of how fast and agile these vehicles get after a Hennessey tune-up. The latest video shows a tuned Grand Cherokee Trackhawk go up against a near-stock Chevy C8 Corvette. It’s a given which vehicle won, but it’s a fun video nevertheless.

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX took the automotive world by a storm. Powered by a V-8 Hellcat engine that makes over 700 horses, this big, bulky truck takes just 4.5 seconds to hit the 60 mph mark. Just when you thought this couldn’t get any better, Hennessey decided to throw in a surprise. The aftermarket company has announced a 6x6 conversion of the “Quickest, Fastest and Most Powerful Mass-produced Truck in the World”. Called the Mammoth 6x6, Hennessey will only build three examples of this 1,200-horsepower beast and sell it at half-a-million bucks a pop. God bless Hennessey.

Unlike Chevrolet, Hennessey isn’t interested in selling stock cars. Hennessey makes money out of its tuning kits, so don’t be so surprised that the tuner pitted a HPE850-imbued C7 Z06 against a factory-spec C8 with the latter not standing a chance. This video reeks of marketing and nothing but marketing.

The Urus is arguably the most successful and the most important product for Lamborghini today. It was launched in September 2018, and the company has moved around 8,500 examples since then. Naturally, this meant there is a demand for the SUV, which makes it a favorite for the aftermarket tuners as well. We’ve seen renditions by companies like Mansory, but this time, Hennessey has laid its hands on the Urus. Result? A 750-horsepower beast that takes less than three seconds to hit the 60 mph from a standstill. Who would’ve imagined that someday, an SUV would achieve such ridiculous numbers!
