A freakishly crazy fire happened last Friday in the overflow lot of the Southwest Florida International Airport, filling the surrounding area with smoke, a bright yellow glow, and damaging some 3,500 rental cars that were parked across a 15-acre area. There is still no official cause of the fire as it is still under investigation, but reports have been flying in that says cars are often parked after being driven for an extended period of time, which could create a very simple but easy to forget fire hazard: hot exhaust sitting just inches above very dry grass. Until an official reason is given, it’s safe to assume this could be the case of what happened.

In the near future, we might see similar videos emerge from motorists in California if Senate Bill 319 passes. Why? Well, here’s what the bill’s text says: It "requires the department to initiate a project to construct two additional traffic lanes on northbound and southbound Interstate Route 5 and State Route 99, and would prohibit the imposition of a maximum speed limit for those traffic lanes." Potholes are nasty. Potholes are mean. They get sadistic pleasure by making your beloved car go through them and inflicting damage in some cases. Some people, as in the entire state of Arizona, apparently, seem to hate them. They hate them so much that they have, essentially, started a war with Waymo self-driving vans and their safety drivers. And we’re not talking about just flipping them the bird or cutting them off in traffic. No; this is much worse and beyond extreme. How do guns, playing chicken, and constant harassment sound?

California is facing a wrath of wildfires that are burning down everything in sight. Apart from life and man-made things, the wildfires are affecting the environment as well. Air quality in the surrounding areas is dreadful, to say the least, and according to a Bloomberg report, the particulate levels are 60 times more than the standard limit.

The wildfires engulfing the state of California have shown no signs of slowing down as high winds continue to spread the fire. As of today, more than 30 people have died from the wildfires sweeping the state, while more than 200 people remain unaccounted for. Two separate wildfires on opposite ends of the state are still ongoing, one in Northern California and one in Southern California. The fire in the north, called the Camp Fire, has effectively burned down the entire town of Paradise, consuming 109,000 acres and destroying more than 6,700 homes and businesses in the area. Meanwhile, the fire in the south, called the Woolsey Fire, has consumed 83,000 acres of land and destroyed at least 177 buildings. A third fire near the Woolsey Fire, called the Hill Fire, has done its own damage, scorching 4,530 acres of land.

Prostitution is illegal in the state of California, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a common practice across the state. This may be more evident in Los Angeles than anywhere else, where police enforced a ban on right turns during the night hours to try to stop the surge of human trafficking.

As such, a stretch of the North Western Avenue was lined up with some strange traffic signs that read "No Right Turns 12 Midnight To 7 AM". The idea is that potential customers of awaiting streetwalkers would be deterred to turn right onto residential streets to do the deeds.
