A little bit more of everything
Audi initially offered the A5 Coupe in 2007, signaling its return to the segment after over a decade of sitting on the sidelines. In 2012, the German manufacturer updated the premium two-door with a mid-cycle refresh, but now, it’s time for the second generation to take the torch. Standout revisions include more efficiency thanks to a lower curb weight and improved aerodynamics, more power from the range of four- and six-cylinder engines, and an impressive catalogue of technological innovations for safety, convenience, and infotainment.
The thing is, it sort of looks as though Ingolstadt didn’t do a whole lot for this generational changeover. That said, sweeping transformations aren’t exactly Audi’s forte, and as soon as you dig under the skin, the differences start to become apparent. It starts with new bones, including an updated chassis. The tried and true powerplant lineup was tuned for more bang for your buck. There’s more space inside, and the classic Four Ring styling outside was tweaked just enough to be noticeable. All in all, the new A5 is undoubtedly worthy of its next-gen designation.

The car is likely to assume the technology from the latest Audi A4, and it will remain as one of the most alluring small executive sedans on the U.S. market.
Audi Spills the Beans on 2019 Model Updates
Audi is gearing up for a raft of changes throughout its model range in 2019 that sees a number of cars get their facelifts done while adding some new models to the lineup like the e-Tron SUV.
German automaker Audi, part of the Volkswagen Group, is currently fighting an uphill battle against its core rivals in the executive and luxury segments. Audi’s global sales figure barely went up by 0.6% last year and, while 2018 stats look better, Mercedes-Benz and BMW are still the key reference points. In the U.S., Audi’s growth is a bit more visible, sitting at about 7.75% between 2016 and 2017, with the current trend seemingly still strong on its feet.

The Audi A4 Cabriolet could be making a comeback as Audi tries to reshuffle its convertible lineup to make room for its return. Part of that reshuffling reportedly involves axing two current convertibles that have become anchors weighing Audi’s sales volume down. If this happens, we could be saying goodbye to the Audi TT Roadster and the Audi A5 Cabriolet. Both models have had their time in the sun, but now it’s looking like they’re being called back home.

Audi has been hard at work revamping its A5 and S5 lineup over the last few years. The two-door coupes and four-door Sportback versions debuted in the U.S. for 2017, bringing the new MLB Evo architecture, big updated in active safety features, and Audi’s widely praised Virtual Cockpit. Now for 2018, the drop-top version gets its go, completing the A5 lineup. But rather than taking Audi’s word on these improvements, I needed the wind through my hair.
A 2018 Audi A5 Cabriolet 2.0T with the Prestige package arrived for the week fitted with nearly every option. While that inflated the price slightly past $65,000, the A5 proved its competence at being an all-rounder, working both as an everyday luxury coupe and as an open-top weekend toy. All it takes is 15 seconds to lower the top and the car changes its demeanor. Much of that can be credited to the multi-layer “acoustic” soft top and generous amounts of insulation. Even passing a semi truck on the interstate is hushed. The new interior pushes the bar for Audi, yet again. Soft-touch materials are paired well with high-end trimmings and in-dash technology that feels cutting-edge. Heck, there’s even microphones embedded into the front seatbelts for taking calls with the top down. It’s this attention to detail that makes the 2018 A5 Cabriolet so interesting. First Impressions: 2018 Audi A5 Cabriolet
Audi just wrapped up the A5’s first decade with a bang – a move into its second generation. The A5 debuted for 2007 and made quite a name for itself over the past 10 years. The second-generation A5 broke cover for the 2017 model year in Europe, but has taken the customary year before crossing the pond. Now Audi showrooms are filling with both Coupe and Cabriolet versions for 2018. My driveway is also home (though sadly, only for the week) to Audi’s new compact executive convertible.
My Silver Metallic A5 Cabriolet is dressed in the range-topping Prestige trim and powered by the 2.0-liter TFSI engine backed by a dual-clutch and Quattro AWD. Its sharp bodylines and new hexagonal grille bring a new, more aggressive attitude to the A5. The optional bi-color, 19-inch multispoke wheels certainly help, too. The angular design borrows from other new-age Audi products, including the swanky TT Coupe. In person, the 2018 A5 Cab is more muscular and purposeful – far more than the rounded and unathletic appearance of the previous car. Audi designers went even further with the A5 Cabriolet’s interior. Like the A5 Coupe, the cabin feels more like a cockpit thanks to its racy design, Virtual Cockpit instrumentation, and myriad of buttons scattered about. 2017 Audi A5 Convertible
The second-generation Audi A5 was unveiled in 2016, nearly ten years after the sporty coupe arrived on the market to replace the 90 model. Designed around the A4 sedan, which broke cover in 2015, the new A5 gained more angular body lines, a "Singleframe" grille that’s wider and flatter than before, a modern interior with Audi’s new "continuous air vent strip" design, and a revised engine lineup.
2015 was quite a busy year for Audi, with the Germans launching the Q7, A4 and R8, and 2016 turned out to be just as crowded, with at least as many new vehicles from the Ingolstadt-based company. One such model is the A5 Convertible, which broke cover in early November after many months of testing with camouflaged bodies. Overhauled in order to give the BMW 4 Series Convertible and the brand-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Convertible a run for their money, the A5 drop-top is almost identical to the coupe aside from the soft-top and additional chassis and body reinforcement.
Audi’s new design language, classy interiors, and updated drivetrains should at least make the new A5 a strong competitor in this crowded niche, while the lighter weight and underpinnings make the convertible quicker and more nimble than the previous model. 2017 Audi A5 And S5 Cabriolets Unveiled
Audi just dropped details on the revamped A5 and S5 cabriolets, rounding out the next-generation A5 lineup. The mid-size two-doors offer room for four passengers, plus a revamped exterior, larger cabin space, new technology, and refreshed powerplants.
Outside, it’s more or less the same recognizable Audi exterior design. For 2017, the Four Rings added a flatter rear window and a wider and flatter Singleframe grille. The exterior dimensions have increased, as the A5 is now extended by nearly two inches. Optional LED or Matrix LED headlights are up front, while LED taillights are in back.
The larger cabin now gets standard microphones mounted in the seatbelts, plus an 8.3-inch display and lots of driver assistance features. The one-touch automatic soft top can flip up or down at speeds up to 31 mph, with just 15 seconds required to open and 18 seconds required to close.
The 2017 model year brings three engines for the A5, including a 2.0-liter gas unit with 252 horsepower, a 2.0-liter diesel with 190 horsepower, and a 3.0-liter diesel with 218 horsepower. A 2.0-liter gas unit with 190 horsepower and a 3.0-liter diesel with 286 horsepower are expected to follow the initial market launch. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, seven-speed S tronic, and eight-speed tiptronic.
More speed can be had with the new S5, which makes 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque thanks to a turbo 3.0-liter V-6. Routed to the ground via standard quattro AWD, it’s enough to hit 62 mph in 5.1 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph.
The suspension is now a new five-link for the rear, supplanting the old trapezoidal-link set-up. Corner carvers can get the available adaptive dampers or available dynamic steering.
Look for the 2017 Audi A5 and S5 to make their public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
2017 Audi A5 Sportback
Slated for a debut at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, the new Audi A5 Sportback has made an early debut, boasting a much needed update to exterior styling, a very slight increase in size (overall length up by 0.4 feet over the current model) increased room inside for passengers, and there’re even some updates to the powertrain department that bring more power output and better fuel economy. Of course, the best part is that the A5 Sportback finally features Audi’s newest design language, which means that ridiculously tall and boring grille up front is finally a thing of the past.
We saw the new Sportback out testing in camo as early as March of 2016, but we could only make out so much of what was going on. Of course, we knew it would take on styling cues from other models in the lineup, but that wasn’t really enough to get the blood flowing. Compared to the previous model, the new, second-gen model does have a sportier rear end, but the overall styling and characteristics of the car really go on unchanged. Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing, just don’t expect to see too many wild changes, and you won’t be disappointed.

Audi A5 Sportback Could Make Its Long-Awaited Debut In U.S. Market
Audi’s A5 lineup has been a broken family of sorts in the U.S. due to the absence of the A5 Sportback in the market. But if a recent report is to be believed, a reunion may be in the cards. Audi is apparently close to giving the green light to bring the A5 Sportback in the U.S. market. According to Automotive News, Audi of America chief Scott Keogh has hinted that a third A5 body style is coming Stateside. Since the A5 only has three available body styles and two of them – the A5 Coupe and the A5 Convertible – are already being offered in the U.S., Keogh might as well have shouted “A5 Sportback!” at the top of his lungs.
Audi isn’t expected to make an official announcement soon, but there is some expectation that it could happen sometime in late 2016, or at least before the second quarter of 2017. That places the announcement just before the A5 Sportback’s rumored arrival in dealerships. In the event it does arrive, don’t expect it to come with the multitude of powertrain options that are currently available in Europe. If anything, Audi could follow the template it has for the Audi A4, which only has a 2.0-liter TFSI engine that pumps out 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque available in the U.S. That said, Audi could still give owners a choice on what kind of drive system they prefer: front-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel drive.
In the event the A5 Sportback does hit the market, expect Audi to throw everything it can into promoting the car as a great alternative to the incumbents of its segment. That would include models like the Volvo V60, the Mercedes E-Class Wagon, and most importantly, the BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon.

Having won seven drivers’ championships and four constructors’ titles between 2002 and 2015, Audi has plenty of reasons to be proud of its recent DTM campaigns. And even though 2015 was a rather disappointing season, it didn’t stop the Germans from creating a special-edition model that celebrates the A5’s efforts in the racing series.
Meet the A5 DTM Selection, a limited-edition coupe that carries the spirit of Audi’s DTM-spec coupe from the race track to the road.
Limited to only 50 units and priced at €74,540 (about $84,700) in Germany, the A5 DTM Selection is Audi’s third road car to wear the DTM badge. The first one came in 2005 as the A4 DTM Edition only a few months after Audi had won all three titles in the series. The second one was the 2014 A5 DTM Champion that celebrated Mike Rockenfeller’s 2013 victory.
Though Ingolstadt has nothing to celebrate in 2015 with Mercedes-Benz and BMW only one round away from winning the drivers’ and manufacturers’ championship, respectively, Audi decided that the current-generation A5 deserves another DTM special-edition before it goes out of production.

On the market since 2007, the Audi A5 is getting a little long in the tooth. Now that the A4 has received its long-awaited redesign, the crew in Ingolstadt has turned to giving the coupe a makeover. Though it won’t make its public debut until 2016, the 2016 Audi A5 has already hit the streets in the form of a camouflaged prototype.
Much like the newly revealed 2016 Audi A4, the A5 will ride on Audi’s latest MLB platform, nicknamed the MLB Evo. Introduced with the second-generation 2016 Audi Q7, the new underpinnings should make the coupe more than 200 pounds lighter than its predecessor. With the current version tipping the scales at 3,307 pounds, the redesigned model could weigh only a bit over 3,000 pounds, which will improve both performance and fuel economy.
Naturally, a new A5 will also bring four more redesigned vehicles to the market. Audi is probably already working on a higher performance S5 and range-topping RS5, as well as a convertible version too. A Sportback model is also in the works, but this will likely remain an Europe-exclusive offering.
Look for the U.S.-spec A5 to arrive stateside for the 2018 model year.

ABT Sportsline has made a career developing programs for Audi vehicles. To this day, the German manufacturer continues to do that, none more recent than its work on the Audi A5 Sportback. The whole program is called the AS5 Sportback Dark and as you’d expect, the name alone implies that ABT Sportsline did something a little sinister to the A5.
While it would have been cool, if not downright bizarre, to say that the German tuner invoked some form of the Dark Arts to create this program, the truth is a lot simpler than that. The AS5 Sportback Dark is called such because it’s exterior is wrapped in black.
This A5 is nothing too elaborate and definitely nothing out of the ordinary, but judging the program simply because of its simplicity doesn’t do justice to the meticulous work the German tuner put into it.
There is one thing I don’t like about the program. ABT Sportsline developed it without adding power to the A5’s 2.0-liter TFSI engine. Under its current configuration, the turbocharged four-banger develops 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, good enough to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds to go with a top speed of 130 mph.
If you can let that small yet significant detail pass, you’re going to enjoy the Audi AS5 Sportback Dark. But if you can’t live with only 220 ponies, you’ll probably wish that ABT Sportsline has some kind of a Stage 2 kit in the works.

Audi’s brand-new electric turbodiesel engine, which was showcased in the RS5 TDI Concept last month, is set to become more than just an experiment. That’s the word from Australian outlet Drive, which claims the drivetrain will hit the streets in the next-generation Q7 SUV. Needless to say, we are not surprised.
The said oil burner displaces 3.0 liters and features an all-new e-boost unit that provides maximum torque from just 1,250 rpm, until the regular turbo kicks in at 3,000 rpm. This technology eliminates turbo lag, and enables the diesel to perform better and respond quicker when the gas pedal hits the floor.
The concept version of the engine mounted in the RS5 TDI delivers 385 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. That’s enough to push the coupe from naught to 62 mph in only four seconds and label it as the fastest six-cylinder diesel vehicle ever developed within the Volkswagen Group. We expect these numbers to change once the production engine finds its way into the Q7’s bay, but the SUV should be quite the performer.

Every now and again, we get invites to quick test-drive events, and for the most part we simply ignore them. But when BMW invited us to test out the new 435i M Sport along with its nearest competitor, the 2014 Audi S5, I would have been nuts to say "no." In one corner is the newest Bimmer with 300 horses coming from its TwinPower Turbo I-6 and all the cool little M Sport bits — brakes, wheels, suspension, etc. In the other corner is the tried-and-true Audi S5 with 333 horses and 325 pound-feet of torque.
This battle of German midsize coupes also includes a battle of power-generating philosophies. From Bimmer you have the new-age twin-scroll turbocharging system and from Audi you have the old, faithful supercharger. Many years ago there was no contest between the two, because the supercharger had no lag, while older turbos had serious lag issues, resulting in slower initial launches while the exhaust gases get the turbo spooling. The introduction of twin-scroll turbocharging and BMW’s perfection of the technology has rendered this a non-issue.
Both the 435i and the S5 are outstanding rigs and do the job of combining performance and luxury well without pushing the bounds of comfort like the wild RS5 and M4. But which one is the victor in this quick, five-mile-long test in city traffic?

As the cheapest coupe Audi sells, the A5 is designed to bring a seductive two-door into an affordable price bracket. Now Audi looks to add even more value to that bargain basement price with its new “ultra” line of TDI equipped cars.
The Volkswagen family of turbocharged diesel engines are already some of the best when it comes to balancing fuel economy and performance, so it makes sense to see that expertise leveraged. The new ultra models are equipped with a new 2.0-liter TDI engine that is available in three levels of power output: 136 horsepower, 163 horsepower and 190 horsepower. If those numbers seem low, don’t worry. These engines pack tons of torque, so at lower speeds they still have plenty of thrust.
The A5 Ultra comes powered exclusively by the 163-horsepower version of this new engine. This engine configuration lays out an absurd 295 pound-feet of twist, and it is sold with a special six-speed manual transmission with taller final gears for improved economy. Audi is claiming a fuel economy rating 56 mpg combined on the EU scale, and top speed sits at 140 mph.
As you can probably guess from the manual-only designation, this car is not currently slated for a U.S. release. We reached out to Audi on the possibility of bringing the “ultra” models to U.S. shores, and John Shilling, Manager of Product Communications at Audi, said there are "No plans in the U.S. for that version at this time."

BMW isn’t the only one that can build a special edition DTM Championship-inspired sports car. After the Bavarians did it last year with the 2013 BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition as a way to celebrate driver Bruno Spengler’s championship season, Audi is doing the same this year for its own star driver Mike Rockenfeller. The model is only available exclusively to the A5 and will come with a choice of three unique colors: Glacier White, Misano Red, and Daytona Gray.
In addition to the color options, the A5 DTM Champion will also receive a host of exclusive features, highlighted by a fixed rear wing that matches the car’s body color, aluminum-look side mirror caps, DTM badges on the door sills, fenders, and side skirts, and a new set of 20-inch aluminum wheels.
The features won’t set the world on fire, but they’re notable enough, specifically those DTM badges, to differentiate the A5 DTM Champion from the standard A5 and not to mention, the more powerful S5 and RS5 models.
Audi will only build 300 models of the A5 DTM Champion and not surprisingly, all 300 models will be sold exclusively in Europe.
Orders for the Audi A5 DTM Champion begins on October 21 with the package costing €1,900, which is about $2,600 based on current exchange rates.

Audi added the A5 Coupe to its lineup back in 2007 as a direct response to models like BMW 3 Series Coupe. Two years later, the lineup was further expanded with the addition of a convertible version. The only update the A5 received was back in 2011, when Audi offered a revised exterior and interior look.
For the 2014 model year, the A5 remains basically unchanged and American customers can choose between the usual Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels. For the 2014 model year, the Premium Plus and Prestige models will be offered with an S-line competition package. Additionally, all the A5 models get an optional Black Optic package and new 19-inch Titanium Rotor wheels.
Also, for the 2014 model year, the only engine offered on the U.S. market - the 2.0 TFSI engine - was tricked to deliver extra power. To help it better compete with the C-Class and 4 Series.

Launched on the market in 2008, the A5 Coupe received its first facelift for the 2012 model year. For 2014, Audi decided to improve the A5 even further by boosting the engine’s output level by 9 horsepower.
Additional updates for the 2014 model year will include the availability of the Premium Plus packages as a standalone option, while the S-Line exterior package will be offered for all the A5 Prestige models. The S line competition package will continue to be offered on Premium Plus and Prestige A5 coupe, while a Black Optic package and new 19-inch Titanium Rotor wheels will be offered as an option.
Everything else will remain unchanged on the model, including the new front fascia, bumper and headlamp design revealed on the 2013 model year.
The 2014 Audi A5 will be offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige, with prices ranging from $39,000 to $49,400.
Updated 07/02/2014: Audi today announced a series of updates and the prices for the 2015 A5 Coupe which is now available for order. Updates include more standard equipments and some new packages.

With DTM racing returning to Russia for the first time in 30 years, German automaker and perennial contender, Audi, recently brought their racing maven all the way to the Red Square.
The unveiling of the Audi A5 DTM at the Russian capital comes six months before the inaugural race for the most internationally-recognized Touring Car series kicks off at the Moscow Speedway. Guess the Four Rings is trying to get a head on scoring some Russian fans before the Moscow stage of the DTM calendar descends on the Russian capital this coming August.
Two-time champion, Mattias Ekstrom, and 2012 double race winner, Edoardo Mortara, were on hand to present the A5 DTM itself. Built with a CFRP monocoque with an integrated fuel tank and plenty of crash elements, the 2013 A5 DTM was built and designed to bring out the ultimate DTM race car.
And with a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 460 horsepower and mates to a six-speed sequential gearbox, the A5 DTM is far from a slouch, matched only by superior handling credentials in the form of an independent front and rear suspension with double wishbones, a pushrod system with spring/damper unit, and adjustable gas pressure dampers.
To handle that kind of power with the rigors of racing, Audi fitted the A5 DTM with a set of 18-inch forged-aluminum wheels wrapped in Hankook tires and backed by a hydraulic dual circuit brake system with light-alloy monobloc brake calipers, and ventilated front and rear carbon-fiber brake discs.
Suffice to say, the new A5 DTM is ready for some DTM action in the Motherland.

Audi A5 Sportback was been unveiled in 2010 and no other updates have been announced since then, except for a minor facelift in 2012. Lucky us, we have tons of tuners that have showed interest in the A5 and we can update the look and the output of the sports coupe. The latest kit we have comes from ABT Sportline and fits any A5 Sportback with a build date of November 2011 and later.
The tuner started by adding a new aerodynamic package that includes a new front lip spoiler, fender vents, and a new rear skirt. There is also a new exhaust system with four end pipes and a new set of wheels, sized 19 or 20 inches, depending on the customer’s wishes. Unfortunately, ABT does not list a price for these upgrades.
The biggest updates however, will be made under the hood. In here the tuner is offering updates for every possible engine, so no matter what car you drive - petrol or diesel variant - you can significantly improve the performance of your A5.
The updates will start with the base 1.8 TFSI engine which will be increased from the standard 170 horsepower up to a total of 211 horsepower for only €1,949 ($2,596 at the current exchange rates). Next, there is the 2.0 TFSI, which jumps from the 211 to 270 horsepower – this upgrade comes in at a grand total of €2,349 ($3,129).For the 3.0 TFSI, the output goes from the standard 272 horsepower up to an impressive 380 horsepower at the tune of €3,419 ($4,555). Diesel fans can increase their standard 2.0 TDI version from the standard 177 to 205 horsepower and the 3.0 TDI version goes from 245 to 300 horsepower for a price of €1,949 ($2,596) and €2,849 ($3,795), respectively.
In order to support the extra power, the tuner is also suggesting a new sports coilover system which can lower the car’s ride by 50 millimeters (1.96 inches). Additionally, ABT offers up some extra stopping power with its performance front brakes that include 345 x 30 mm (13.58- x 1.18-inch) discs, flexible steel lines and upgraded calipers. Just like the exterior upgrades, ABT does not offer up a price on the suspension and braking components just yet.

Not one to be left out of all the fun at the 2012 Essen Motor Show, ABT Sportsline decided to join in on all the festivities by bringing a number of aftermarket programs, including one for the Audi A5 Coupe.
Visually, the AS5 Coupe is treated to a host of new aerodynamic components, which add a sportier look to the car and provide enhanced performance capabilities. From the front lip spoiler to the side skirts, the fender inserts, the rear skirt, the rear spoiler and the quad-pipe exhaust system, each of these new components are fitted to the AS5 with the goal of giving the sports car an edgier look and feel to it. Add the lowered suspension springs, coil-over kit and a set of CR or DR alloy wheels, and you have a sports coupe that’s primed and ready to throw down against the field.
At the heart of ABT Sportsline’s modification program is the series of performance enhancements given to the entire engine lineup. For starters, the 1.8-liter TFSI model received an output boost to 211 horsepower — up from the 170 ponies the model carried in standard guise. Then there’s the 2.0 TFSI, which sees its output rise from 211 horsepower all the way up to 270 horsepower.
Not one to be left out in the cold, the AS5 2.0-liter Turbodiesel also got into the mix, as is receives a power bump from 177 horsepower to 205 horsepower. The 3.0-liter diesel variant rounds out the diesel engines by jumping from its standard 245 horsepower to a more thrilling 300 horsepower.
Finally, the most powerful AS5 of them all… The 3.0-liter gasoline engine, now packs a whopping 380 horsepower, a stout 108-horsepower increase from the standard 272 ponies.
Today is Power Convertible Day at the Nürburgring. Earlier, we introduced spy shots of the upcoming Lexus IS-F Convertible, and now we have another set of photos, this time of the Audi RS5 Convertible during its own testing on the ’Ring.
The strange thing is that - unlike the previous prototypes caught testing - this vehicle is wearing heavy camouflage leading us to believe that there will be some minor tweaks on the exterior which Audi wants to keep a secret.
Just like the coupe version, the RS5 Convertible will be powered by a 4.2 liter V8 engine delivering a total of 450 HP at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 317.15 lb-ft available between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in 4.7 - 4.8 seconds - because the convertible version will be bit heavier when compared to the coupe, but top speed will still come limited to 155 mph.
Expect to see the new Audi RS5 Convertible launched by the end of the year.
Audi has just dropped the facelift version of the A5 coupe onto the market and tuners already started to show interest for the car. One of the first is the German tuner Rieger who comes with a pretty cool aerodynamic package that wants to make the A5 looking a little bit more like the RS5.
There’s a pretty big difference between how the A5 and the RS5 look, so filling that gap can be pretty difficult. But it seems that Rieger has found a pretty cool solution to do that. Their exterior package begins with a complete front bumper fascia, a lower carbon fiber spoiler, new side skirts and a a rear-skirt-extension that includes the original RS5 tail pipes.
The upgrade package continues with new H&R sport springs, a new brake system borrowed from the RS5 and of course a new set of 21" Corniche Challenge wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires.
After first seeing patent drawings of the upcoming Audi RS5 Convertible, the car has finally been caught testing around the Nürburgring race track. The spy images reveal a bigger front spoiler,bigger brakes and wider fenders. At the back, however, it’s still S5 business as usual, with narrower rear fenders and S-type quad exhaust pipes. The model will also get new LED lights, a larger diffuser, and a rear spoiler that extends automatically at 74.56 mph.
As with the coupe version, the convertible version will use a standard 4.2 liter V8 engine with a total of 450 HP at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 317.15 lb-ft available between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in 4.6 seconds, while top speed will be limited to 155 mph. The top speed can be increased to more than 170 mph upon request.
Two months after checking out the A5 DTM concept, Audi has whipped out the production model at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Codenamed the "R17," the A5 DTM replaced the old A4 DTM and is scheduled for homologation on March 1, 2012. Until then, engineers will be busy putting it to some extreme testing.
The A5 DTM is 5.01 meters long, 1.95 meters wide, and 1.15 meters low, and is completely made in carbon fiber. It is powered by a V8 engine mated to six-speed transmission, now pneumatically operated using paddle shifters in the steering wheel. The shifting events are more precise compared with conventional manual gearshifts and allow the mileage of the unit to be quadrupled to up to 24,000 kilometers. The whole setup delivers a total of 460 HP. The race car has also received a safety fuel tank with a capacity of 120 liters integrated with the carbon fiber cell of the Audi A5 DTM that allows the current distance of a DTM race to be covered without a refueling stop.
"In the past, Audi has had very innovative solutions particularly in the area of aerodynamics in the DTM," says Dr. Martin Mühlmeier, Head of Engineering at Audi Sport. "Since these areas have been subjected to severe restrictions good detailed solutions will now be crucial to achieving advantages over the competition."
Updated 03/21/2012: Audi Motorsport has unveiled today the first images of the new A5 DTM wearing its racing livery. Next to the official car tested at Valencia, four new Audi A5 DTM cars will be on track sporting their final outfits for the first time. When a tuning firm comes up with a winning package for a certain vehicle, chances are they will reinvent that package several times to get the most bang for their buck. This is exactly what Project Kahn is doing with the Audi A5. Back in March 2011, the British tuner revealed their first tuning package for Audi’s little coupe, bringing out a pearl white paint job and a few accessories to sharpen the car’s look. Now, Project Kahn is building from that package with a second kit for the A5. This time, the Audi is pulling off a matte pearl gray exterior, but some accessories from the previous package still appear.
Aside from the matte pearl gray paint job, the exterior of the vehicle gets spruced up with new front and rear vented bumpers reminiscent of an R8, as well as a rear spoiler and a stainless steel sports quad exhaust system. The exterior package is completed by a new set of 21-inch RSX matte black lightweight wheels combined with a lowered sports suspension.
Other features provided by Project Kahn for the Audi A5 include Billet Steel detailing, Kahn-branded aluminum pedals, Kahn colored speed and rev counter dials, and a Kahn tinted privacy glass. These are followed up with more conventional upgrades such as heated electric front seats, auto-dimming rear view mirror, red calipers, cruise control, and the Audi parking system.
According to Project Kahn, this particular tuning project is available for a special price of £21,875, or about $35,000 at the current rates. Since the Audi A5 is currently selling for a starting price of $36,000, this sounds like a deal.
The A5 is among the first models in Audi’s plan to expand its line-up to 35 models by 2015. While the coupe version was launched in 2007, the Convertible followed in 2009 in both A5 and S5 versions. The A5 Cabriolet came as a replacement for the A4 Cabriolet, but it was more elegant and dynamic than the model it replaced. Now, the 2012 Audi Cabriolet is getting freshened up with a more dynamic design, improved engines, a brand new 1.8 TFSI four cylinder engine, quattro drive, and an infotainment system.
The 2012 A5 is being offered with both FSI and TDI engines combined to either a six-speed manual gearbox or the multitronic continuously variable transmission, but the biggest news for the 2012 MY is the addition of the new 1.8 TFSI four cylinder engine. This new engine will deliver a monumental fuel efficiency of 41 mpg, compared to the combined 25mpg of the 2.0 TFSI from last year. The full engine range is still available for customers wanting to dance between power and fuel efficiency, but now the options have just become a bit greener.

For the 2012 DTM racing series, Audi will be replacing the current A4 DTM with a brand new A5. The car is known as the R17 and comes with a high-strength carbon-fiber monocoque that is combined with a steel tube cage. For the sidewalls, Audi has used a hybrid design with a carbon, Zylon and Rohacell construction. This construction will provide maximum security in case of side impact.
The A5 DTM is powered by a V8 engine that delivers a total of 460 HP - the same engine found in the A4 DTM it replaces. The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission. Characteristic features of the 2012-generation of DTM vehicles are a larger rear wing and a reduction of the permitted aerodynamics components.
The Audi A5 DTM will make its world debut in September at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt. The first prototype of the R17 is currently being built up at Audi Sport in Ingolstadt.
Seeing as most of the Audi family has already gotten their facelifts, it seemed obvious that the A5 was the next in line to receive a fresh look.
Not surprisingly, Audi was thinking the same thing as it officially unveiled the 2012 line-up of the Audi A5, one that includes a number of variants - coupe, sportback, and convertible - to bolster variety for the consumers.
The sportiest of the lot is the 2012 A5 Coupe, which features its fair share of cosmetic improvements as well as new powertrain options. The changes made on the 2012 A5 Coupe features a new lighting form that fits right in with what Audi has been doing with some of their latest releases. That’s right; no more of those rectangular, shoe-box looking headlights that made the A5 look stiff in the past.
As for the powertrain, the 2012 A5 Coupe has plenty of choices for the market, including a new 3.0-liter supercharged V6 version that produces 272 horsepower.
All in all, the 2012 A5 Coupe offers refreshed looks with improved driving dynamics and better fuel economy.
Audi could have done more, as far as we’re concerned, but we’re not complaining with the changes they made on the car. At the very least, the fresh new looks fits right in with the performance tweaks done on it. No complaints from us on that end.

Looks can be deceiving, can’t they?
What looks like a seemingly ordinary Audi A5 is anything but normal when you look at what’s sticking out of its rear end. Dressed in a polished white garb, this particular A5 has been stripped bare of just about everything except for the body panels. What it now has, though, is a 1,000-horsepower turbocharged drag engine complete with a parachute on its behind and a full roll cage for safety.
The work was done by Jens Eklund and his team over at Eklund Racing, no strangers to turning Audis into 1,000-horsepower vehicles of mayhem. Apparently, their appetite for cars of mass destruction is once again being satiated by this unassuming A5.
Just goes to show how far boost junkies will go to to get their fix. We’re just hoping that they didn’t remove the seat belts like they did to just about everything else.

Just when Project Kahn seemed been lost in the shadows, the British tuning firm returns back to the spotlight with some pretty snazzy new programs for us aftermarket-loving fanatics.
We’ve already gotten a good look at the new Range Rover Diablo and now, Afzal Kahn and his merry band of buddies have released their latest styling package for the Audi A5.
As a man who prides himself on providing customers with some of the most well thought of packages in the industry, Kahn’s work on the Audi A5 is a testament to why he’s considered one of the best in the biz. The new body kit for the A5 may be "subtle" compared to his past works, but there’s still something to be said about a man that can turn just about anything into his own personal work of art.
There’s a taste of subdued aggression with this new body kit, something that allows the A5 to look more menacing than its standard brethren. And on top of that, its interior has been spruced up to add get some luxurious shine.
All told, another fine piece of work from Kahn and the boys.

After the Audi S5, Senner Tuning is also preparing a tuning kit for the A5 Cabrio. The package is improving both the engine’s output, but is also offering a more sportier appearance for the cabriolet. The price for the kit is 19.900 Euro ($25,000 at the current exchange rates).
The tuning package includes an audibly superior exhaust system with a stainless steel finishing with four end pipes, a carbon hydride screw thread with adjustable settings, 20" SC1 light metalrims in silver chrome, a new spoiler in the RS6 Design, a cooler grill, exterior mirrors in the RS5 Design and a rear valance with sporty diffuser fins. The interior gets surfaces made from leather and extensive carbon fibre applications.
As for the 2.0 T-FSI engine, the tuner is offering sports air filters and software optimization that increases the output to 275 HP and 430 Nm of torque.

The Audi A5 S-line is not only classy, but sporty as well, and that type of combination is something that many consumers hunt for in the process of locating the perfect car for their lifestyle. Find that perfect classy/sporty car and the only thing left to do is find the perfect tuner to jazz it up even further. The latest customization package to claim a classier upgrade for the A5 S-line is JMS and Senner Tuning. These two tuners have joined together to come up with that perfect package. Did they succeed? Read on to make that decision yourself.
The new body kit for the A5 includes a new front lip that extends to the sides of the bumper for € 269, a sporty rear apron for € 269, and a Senner 4-pipe exhaust system with oval tailpipes for € 1090. These exterior additions can be attached to all three of the A5 S-line models (Convertible, Coupe, and Sportback).
The whole package is finished by an upgraded coilover suspension from KW priced at 1,319 euro and a set of 20 inch custom design rims wrapped in 245/30-20 tires priced at 5,500 Euro.
And, unfortunately, that is where the package ends. There is no power upgrade from JMS and Senner Tuning to boost the Audi to the next level. We have to say, without a power upgrade, the package just feels incomplete. If we go back and check out the Audi AS5 Sportback by ABT, we’d find a much more suitable package. We understand that the package from ABT is just for the Sportback, but it’s still a better pick. We’d hold off on purchasing this package until other tuners take the opportunity to provide a real package for the S-Line.
Our buddies over at GT Spirit were able to take the ABT Sportsline-tuned Audi AS5-R out for a run in Dubai recently. There’s not a whole lot going on because we didn’t actually see the car’s full exterior and because GT Spirit isn’t divulging further details surrounding their city excursion in Dubai on-board the AS5-R.
On a separate note, is it too far-fetched to say that the Middle East, particularly the Dubai-Abu Dhabi region, has become the exotic car capital of the world? It’s beginning to look like it. What it is not currently looking like is a place for morons to take their thrill-seeking personalities out for a spin on the public roads.
Remember thosetwo hooners that used the Sheik Zayed Road in Dubai as their own personal playground? Well, it looks like the local Dubai police weren’t exactly pleased with the antics of the two, arresting them and impounding the Nissan Patrol and Toyota pick-up that were used in their public display of hoonage. The two thrill-seekers are currently facing charges and could very well be facing three years in prison for their reckless - yet highly entertaining - stunt.
Note to everyone out there. Hooning isn’t exactly against the law provided you do it in the right setting. Race tracks are a good place to do it. Public highways? Not so much.

For this event, MT brought together an Audi A5, a BMW 335i, a Lexus IS350, and an Infiniti G37 – all of which, incidentally, are convertibles. It’s the showdown of showdowns to determine which top-down machine takes home the coveted bragging rights for winning Motor Trend’s special Topless Drag Race.
We’d spoil you the result of the race but where’s the suspense in that? But just so you won’t get caught off-guard, we’ll give you a little teaser of what to expect – or not to expect, for that matter.
It’s not the kind of drag race you’re accustomed to seeing.
When the luxurious four ringed German automaker introduced the all new Audi A5 complete with sleek styling and a sporty fastback coupe character thanks to its stretched mid section and its elongated lines the world took notice. So it was only a matter of time before they decided to drop the top and come up with the most attractive Audi Cabriolet of all time. The new Audi A5 Cabriolet was such a good new car design; featuring the fastest folding rag top in its segment, taking only 15 seconds to be stowed away and can even operate at speeds of up to 30 MPH, and not to mention that the Audi Acoustic Roof technology gives the new A5 Cabriolet interior noise levels on par with a hard top. That the folks back in the motherland decided to effectively use it to replace the smaller A4 based convertible, for good.
The model we were fortunate enough to become familiar with was a well equipped Ibis White 2010 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI FWD Multitronic Cabriolet set off by a Brown Roof and slightly sweeter Cinnamon brown interior. The combination of Xenon charged headlamps and LED driving lights and rear clusters ensured that we would clearly see the road ahead as well as being seen by everyone around us. On the inside we enjoyed such creature as Bluetooth hands free connectivity while sitting snugly inside the ventilated and heated sport buckets wrapped in perforated milano leather and get a little extra help from the large colorful LCD navigation display with built in back up camera that also controls the Audi Multi Media Interface (MMI).
Powered by a combination of forward thinking and fuel efficient turbocharging and direct injection, the 2.0 Liter TFSI four cylinder produced a total of 211 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque being routed to the 18 inch 15 spoke rollers via Audi’s FrontTrak front wheel drive Multitronic CVT transaxle to a top speed of 130 MPH while returning an estimated 23 MPG in the city and as much as 30 MPG on the highway all starting at $42,000 and climbing up to a nicely equipped $51,525.
Unveiled back in 2008, Audi’s stylish full size luxury sport back A5 has undergone a few mechanical changes for the 2010 model year. However the A5’s styling keeps the classic coupe like proportions that come from the long hood and short rear deck lid combined with a low slung sweeping roof line. The interior of the A5 includes Audi’s three dimensional driver oriented cockpit to make owners feel a bit more sport when behind the wheel. The 2010 Audi A5 will be offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The Audi MMI infotainment system, which is now in its third generation, is offered for all A5’s equipped with navigation while the Premium Plus and Prestige models are further distinguished by a set of LED tail lights.
As far as the changes are concerned, the fuel efficient 2.0 TFSI power plant is now available with either a manual or Tiptronic transmission and the German automaker is permanently removing the clutch pedal from all 3.2 FSI powered all wheel drive Quattro models. Either way, the turbocharged four cylinder is good for 211 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque while the larger 3.2 liter V6 produces 265 HP and 243 lb-ft of thrust.

Ordinarily, commercials serve the purpose of making you want to buy a certain product, whether it’s for a car or a detergent. Sometimes, however, the real message of the ad gets skewed by what the consumers see at face value when they’re watching it.
Take this new commercial by Audi for the new A5. Sure, we get the message of clean diesel technology and all that. But do you really have to use a suicide attempt to get the message across?
If you ask us, it’s a terrible idea and it’s definitely of poor taste to even remotely associate the benefits of the A5 with some poor schmuck trying to suffocate himself to death.

The German tuning firm ABT Sportsline has just released a customization program for the latest addition to Audi’s midsize lineup, the shapely A5 sportback. As far as appearances are concerned, ABT’s aero kit includes a new front apron, grill replacement, decorative fender inserts and a more pronounced rear spoiler. Poking out from underneath the rear bumper is a quad tip sport tuned exhaust that adds both sporting sound and style to the sportback which is finished off with a set of ABT’s signature BR Sport Rims ranging in sizes from 18 to 20 inches in diameter.
Being the race car builders that they are, ABT also has a few power packages to add a bit more oomph along with the restyling. The alternatively fueled 3.0 Liter TDI powered version’s output can be upped to 282 HP or even 310 HP depending on if you get the standard ABT POWER unit or the more powerful S version. Meanwhile the turbocharged four cylinder 2.0 Liter TFSI gets upped to 275 HP. So if you want to take one of Audi’s most stylish packages to date and make it your own ABT might just be what you are looking for.

Almost every automotive enthusiast dreams of owning an Audi R8, however there is a little thing called money that will keep most of us from actually purchasing one. However if you just so happen to be lucky enough to be driving an Audi A5, the tuners at Hofele Design have come up with an aftermarket kit that takes your two door audi sports coupe and makes it look like the four ringed super car.
Hofele starts by replacing the front bumper with an R8 inspired unit complete with a pair of oversized air intakes filled with horizontal diffusers, a set of the R8’s signature side blades and choice of rear aprons complete with cutouts for the Hofele’s oval shaped tailpipes or one that fits the standard single exit exhaust as well as Lamella inserts in the rear diffuser from the new 5.2 Liter V10 powered R8 are integrated into the rear bumper. So if you are looking for Audi R8 style without having to fork over the amount required to actually take home a super car, Hofele Design has just the kit for you.
The folks at Audi saw fit that we take their latest drop top out for a spin so when a 2010 A5 2.0 TFSI FWD Multitronic Cabriolet showed up as the latest addition to the Top Speed test fleet, we were in no mood to decline. The Ibis White A5 looks very much like the outgoing A4 Convertible, however once you spend a bit more time in and around the premium drop top from Germany, the stretched mid section with its elongated lines make the Audi A5 a much more visually appealing automobile than the car it replaces. The new A5 Convertible features the fastest folding roof in the segment, taking only 15 seconds to fully retract and can even be put in place at 30 MPH, not to mention that the cloth top features Audi Acoustic Roof technology that gives the convertible interior noise levels on par with a hard top.
The front end is made up of a pair of LED powered head lamps that sit on either side of Audi’s signature gaping grill with a pair of sporty looking air intakes filled with large round fog lamps on the ends. Like we said before, the A5’s longer lines make it look much sportier, especially when you compare the length of the door compared to the overall vehicle, Audi’s engineers also incorporated a neat trick under the hood to push those front wheels further forward in the car’s profile making it look like a long wheelbase race car. The new car’s additional length also play a role in the rear 3/4 view, the A5 has a wide squatted appearance because the car’s proportions have been altered, so although the A5’s rear end is about at tall as the more bubbly outgoing A4 it has a much more aggressive look from behind, something that is only accentuated with the top down.

We recently showed you what a little help from the aftermarket manufacturer B&B did to help out the Audi Q7. Well this time the tuners are turning their attention to something a little smaller, instead of dressing up a full size SUV, B&B are applying the same styling to the mid size B series coupe. So no matter whether you own an Audi A5 or an S5 Cabriolet, B&B not only has what it takes to make your new car look even better, but they can put a little extra mustard under the hood and improve the car’s handling at the same time to go along with it.
B&B offers a few different performance packages for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated versions of the midsized coupe. Starting off with the 2.0 Liter TFSI four cylinder that can have its turbocharger tweaked and maximum pressure boosted to generate anywhere from 250 HP to 295 HP with the most aggressive package generating a total of 310 HP from the factory turbocharged four banger. B&B is also ready to make more power with diesel models, the 2.0 TDI’s output is raised to either 200 HP or 220 HP and the 3.0 Liter TDI V6 can be upped to produce a total of either 300 HP or 325 HP depending on your needs. For those Audi owners who want to take their high performance Audi S5 sports coupe to the next level, B&B as developed an engine package for the 4.2 Liter V8 that includes a free flowing exhaust that raises output to a rather impressive 415 HP.
So aside from the body kit and engine work, B&B continues their work by replacing the stock suspension with a special adjustable unit which can be tuned for everything from sport to comfort settings as well as a slight adjustment in ride height. The finishing touch to the tastefully tuned Audi are a set of the aftermarket manufacturer’s signature B12 wheels sized a rather healthy 20 inches in diameter.

The German automaker Audi has just revealed details about an aluminum prototype lightweight A5 Coupe that uses the same space frame architecture that is used in the Audi R8 super car and TT sports coupe. Audi’s goal is to improve the overall performance of the midsize coupe by reducing its curb weight, by 242 lbs to be exact. When Audi’s engineers reduce the mass of the A5 coupe, they allow the engine to to breathe easier, the brakes to work less and the suspension to be tuned more precisely; making the four ringed luxury car a better all around performance machine.
The prototype Audi A5 is based on the steel bodied production car, replacing the bulkier design with the bespoke aluminum Audi Space Frame that reduces the weight of the prototype from 3,130 lbs to 2,888 lbs. While it’s currently powered by a 2.0 Liter TFSI four cylinder that makes 211 HP, in the interest of weight and economy, the lightweight chassis would make a great candidate for the foundation of a very nice future super car from the 100 year old four ringed automaker.
With all the current talk of Audi RS5s in America in the near future, it looks like this prototype is a test mule for a 450 HP V8 powered 2011 RS5. Not only would the lightweight construction make the future RS5 an even better handling machine, but hopefully Audi’s power train engineers have sorted out the new A5’s transaxle layout so that the engine can sit a bit further back in the body. Just imagining an aluminum Audi RS5 with its blistered fenders and gills in the front bumper only hint subtly at the beast that would lie beneath. Another interesting fact about an aluminum bodied FSI V8 sports car would have over twice the horsepower, so an aluminum B segment RennSport would have twice asa much potential to push around all that weight.

The tuning firm ABT Sportsline was recently asked by the adult beverage producer Radeberger Pilsner to create a very special Audi A5 Cabrio so that they can give it away in a contest. ABT started by adding their signature body kit and then painting in a few bold gold accents. The drop top A5 is powered by a tuned 2.0 TFSI engine that now delivers 275 HP, up from the standard 180 HP and can sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 168 MPH.
Audi today announced prices for the 2010 S4 and A5/S5 Convertible models. The S models will go on sale in August, followed by a fall debut for the A5 Convertible. The S4 sedan is priced at $45,900 for the manual version and at $47,300 for the S tronic one. The A5 Cabriolet 2.0T multitronic front-wheel drive is priced at $42,000, the A5 Cabriolet 2.0T Tiptronic quattro at $44,100 and the S5 at $58,250.
The 2010 S4 is powered by a 3.0T V6 FSI direct injection supercharged engine with 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque.
All the models will be offered with: 3G MMI (Multi Media Interface) with 3D map graphics and SIRIUS traffic displays the latest evolution of 3D navigation, joystick control for navigation map destination finding, updated graphical clarity, SIRIUS® artist/title preview, and SIRIUS traffic-based navigation. The S4 sedan features voice-based destination input control, and voice inputs such as “I’m hungry,” “I need gas” and “I need coffee”.

The German automaker Audi has just announced prices for the 2010 A4 and A5 sedan and coupe as well as the Q5 compact crossover. In the appropriate Vorsprung das Tecnik fashion, each of the luxury vehicles have been improved for next year. The A4 and A5 now feature LED tail lights as part of the Premium Plus and Prestige trim packages, the sporty A5 will also receive, for the first time, the same fuel efficient 2.0 Liter TFSI direct-injection four cylinder engine that is offered in the A4. The larger Q5 Prestige will also offer an optional Luxury Package to make customers feel like their money was well spent.
The 2010 Audi A4 will start at $31,450 equipped with the TFSI 2.0 Liter driving the front wheels and goes all the way up to $42,250 for the quattro version when they start to make their way into showrooms. The sporty A5 will start out at $36,000 for a 2.0 TFSI powered quattro Coupe with a manual transmission and will go all the way up to $45,500 for a Tiptronic. The Audi Q5 SUV is not only the heaviest of the bunch, but will also tip the monetary scales the most with a starting rice of $37,350 that climbs to $48,850 depending on how luxurious a packages you prefer.

The A5 Sportcak will be offered with a choice of three gasoline and three TDI engines, with three more engines to follow by mid-2010. The gasoline lineup includes: the 2.0 Liter TFSI with 180 HP or 211 HP and the 3.2 Liter V6 with 265 HP. The diesel line-up includes: 2.0 TDI produces 170 HP, 190 HP 2.7 Liter TDI and 3.0 TDI pumping out 240 HP.
As elegant as a coupe, as practical as an Avant - this is how it can be described the new Audi A5 Sportback in short words. The car was revealed today when the company is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The car is already on sale, and prices in Germany will begin at 33,650 euros.
When will go on sale the A5 Sportcak will be offered with a choice of three gasoline and three TDI engines, with three more engines to follow by mid-2010. All models are equipped with a recuperation system that recovers energy during braking and deceleration and stores it temporarily in the battery.

After seeing the official teaser image of the future mid sized sport sedan from Germany, the first official image of the next Audi A5 Sportback surfaced today on the internet before the vehicle’s official unveiling tomorrow, July 16, during the automaker’s centennial celebration ceremony.
Prices for the German market are as follow: €36,050 for the version powered by the 2.0 Liter TDI engine making 170 HP, €39,300 for the 2.7 Liter TDI engine that delivers 190 HP, €47,950 for the 3.0 Liter TDI version equipped with Quattro all wheel system, €42,150 for the 2.0 TFSI with Quattro and €47,000 for the top of the line 3.2 Liter FSI Quattro sending 265 HP to all four corners of the Sportback.
When it comes to the Audi A5 Coupe there are a lot of tuners from around the world showing a lot of interest in the new sport back. One of them is the German tuner Senner, who has just unveiled a new customization program for the sports coupe.
The new tuning kit will add some extra grunt to the 3.0 Liter TDI alternatively fueled turbo diesel. While the exterior is upgraded with loads of lightweight black stuff. Like a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber mirror housings and a rear spoiler made from carbon fiber. The all new carbon fiber rear apron frames the new quad tipped stainless steel performance exhaust.
Keeping wheel gap to a minimum while improving the A5’s turning ability are a set of Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilovers underneath the signature Senner 21 inch wheels.
