The Peugeot 207 Van was launched in 2007, when it replaced the 206 Van that was around since 2000.

The vehicle represented a huge step forward in terms of style and technology. But like most of the super mini vans found on today’s roads, it will be hard to consider it a genuine commercial vehicle as it’s only a van conversion based on a conventional passenger car.

The Peugeot 206 Van comes with a choice of 1.4 liter petrol, 1. 4 liter diesel and 1.6 liter diesel units. Due to its compact dimensions, rear cargo space is of course limited and such a car will appeal to couriers, florists or people who want to transport dogs or other small animals.

The Peugeot 206 Van is now out of production, as it was replaced by the newer 207 van in 2007. The model was sold between 2000 – 2006 and was based on the passenger version of the 206 model.

The vehicle was designed for light carrying duties and offered a fairly comfortable interior combined with a small cargo area that was able to soak load volumes of up to 1130 liters.

The Peugeot 206 Van was powered by an efficient diesel engine that was able to deal well with the needs of urban commercial transportation. The vehicle had a starting price of $15.500 and was offered with a standard warranty of two-years with unlimited-mileage.

Similarly with the new model, the old generation Peugeot Boxer was developed together with the Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay and shared the same design and engines with its two brothers. Though, there are a few differences between these three models, and consist of unique warranties and also different prices.

The vehicle was commercialized between 1994 and 2006 and has received a small facelift in 2002. After the 2002 upgrade the Boxer was fitted with new common rail diesel engines that developed 104 hp and 127 hp. The Peugeot Boxer was offered with three wheelbases and four gross vehicle weights of 2.5, 2.9, 3.3 and 3.5 tonnes.

While the new generation of the Peugeot Expert represents a huge improvement over the old model, its predecessor opened the road of a new van segment which today is highly appreciated.

At its time (1996 – 2006), the old Expert was an innovative concept being situated between the big panel vans like the Peugeot Boxer and the small ones represented by the tiny Partner.

The compact dimensions of the Expert brought both advantages and disadvantages. On the plus part were its good maneuverability combined with the cheap costs of maintenance and ownership, while on the less good side it was the small payload capacity which limited its practicality.

Due to its compact load bay that was rated at only 4 cubic meters, the Peugeot Expert was obligated to deal only with small jobs, appealing to those who were content with a limited payload capacity.

Still, the Peugeot Expert was offered in two gross payload versions namely the 800 kg and 900 kg models which help it to deal with a pretty wide range of commercial applications. The old Peugeot Expert shared the same body with the Citroen Dispatch and Fiat Scudo and was available with two diesel engines that developed 71 and 110 hp.

Until recently, Peugeot’s lineup didn’t include any pickup model, but the company decided that it’s time to do some changes and developed the new Hoggar. The Hoggar was designed to deal with small commercial deliveries and has a versatile nature being able to suit with a wide range of applications.

The Hoggar shares the same platform with the 207 and features a load volume of 1,151 liters with a payload of up to 742kg. The vehicle is offered with a choice of two engines namely a 1.4-liter unit and a 1.6 liter model.

For the moment the vehicle is available only for the Brazilian market and it’s produced at Porto Real plant in Rio de Janeiro.

The Peugeot Bipper is built together with the Citroen Nemo and Fiat Fiorino and all three models share the same design and technology.

All vehicles are part of a relatively new breed of compact vans which were designed to appeal for those looking for a small and economic commercial vehicle with capable driving abilities. The Bipper is offered with a choice of two diesel engines which develop 68 (Euro 4) and 75hp (Euro 5). The vehicle comes with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 1800 kg and a maximum payload of 660 kg.

The new generation Peugeot Partner is sold together with old one which bears the name Partner Origin. Despite being launched in 2001, the old Partner is still sold pretty well and occupies a niche of its own being slightly smaller than the newer Partner and also significantly cheaper.

The vehicle comes with a 3.0m3 cargo bay and can haul either 600kg or 800kg depending on the model. Power comes from a 75hp 1.6-litre HDi diesel mated on a five-speed manual gearbox. The Peugeot Partner Origin is covered by a three-year/100,000 mile warranty with service intervals set at 12,500 miles.

The Peugeot Partner is build together with the Citroen Berlingo and was designed as a small LCV for short urban deliveries. The Peugeot Partner is fairly capable and also has a pretty flexible character being able to cope with a wide range of commercial applications. The latest generation offers a bigger cargo area than the old model with a capacity of either 3.3m3 or a 3.7m3.

Moreover, the new Partner is also available in two different sizes, with the L2 version being longer than the L1. The vehicle’s payload capacity ranges from 625 kg to 850 kg depending on the model and it’s offered with a choice of two different engines namely a 1.6-litre HDi diesel or a 1.6-litre petrol.

With a spacious cab and a generous load area the newest Peugeot Expert offers a high level of practicality packed into an attractive design. The vehicle shares the same body and technology with the Fiat Scudo and Citroen Dispatch.

The Peugeot Expert features a 5.0 cubic meters load box in short-wheelbase standard roof version, 6.0 cubic meters for the long wheelbase and 7.0 cubic meters for the long wheelbase high roof model.

The vehicle is offered with a choice of either 1.6 liter or 2.0 liter diesel engines. With payload capacities ranging from 1,000kg to 1,200kg, the Peugeot Expert is a fairly practical and versatile model that is ready to tackle a wide range of commercial applications with ease.

The Boxer was born thanks to the joint venture between Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot and is basically a rebadged version of the Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay.

The Peugeot Boxer is available in different lengths (L1, L2, L2S, L3, L4), and three different HDi engines. Thanks to a wide range of specifications, the Boxer is a highly versatile light commercial vehicle that can be converted into tippers, boxes or even dropsides.
