The International Extreme Truck or the XT lineup consists of three heavy duty pickup trucks (CXT, RXT and MXT) that were sold between 2004 and 2008.

The XT models were designed to be the biggest pickups ever made. The XTs were created by taking the trailer off a prime hauler and turning into a dinosaur-looking pickup truck.

The first model introduced was the CXT which came with a massive curb weight of 14.500 lb and a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 25,9999 lb.

The CXT is built on an International 7300 chassis and is equipped with the DT 466 diesel engine. Thanks to its heavy duty engine, the truck is able to tow up to 20 tons. The CXT came with a four wheel drive system and was priced from $93,000 to $115,000.

The International ProStar is an aerodynamic class 8 long haul truck designed to deal with heavy payloads and thousands of miles. The truck has a 6x4 or 4x2 axle configuration and is available with a choice of either Day or Sleeper cabs. The truck competes against models like the Kenworth T700, Freightliner Cascadia or Peterbilt 587.

The international ProStar is available with a choice of three MaxxForce engines that are combined with an aerodynamic design and a few efficient technologies to offer one of the lowest fuel consumption levels in the segment.

There aren’t many vehicles out there that are able to mix a traditional look with tasteful modern lines. There is however one truck that stands out from the crowd at any time and any place. We’re talking about the new International LoneStar which was launched in 2009.

The truck was designed for long haul operations and features an aerodynamic design that reminds us of those classic hot roads that caused many jaw drops at their time. With GVWR (gross vehicle weight ratings) between 52,350 – 60,600 lbs, the International Lone Star is available with both Day and Sleeper cabs and is powered by either MaxxForce 13 or Cummins ISX15 engines.

The International 9900 is a class 8 heavy duty truck build for long haul or high way operations. The truck features a rugged design with a conventional cab configuration and is available with both single and sleeper cab options.

The International 9900 comes with a long list of engines and suspensions which makes it pretty flexible to customer’s needs. With gross vehicle weight ratings between 46,000 – 60,600 lbs. the truck can also deal with almost any payload without too much fuss. There are three engines available for the International 9900 including the MaxxForce 9, 11 and 13 units.

The International TranStar is a 8 Class heavy duty truck designed for regional haul and city urban delivery applications. The truck features an aerodynamic design with a conventional cab configuration and the most spacious interior in its class.

The International TranStar line includes two different models namely the 8500 and 8600. The truck is available with both Day and Extended cabs and is powered by MaxxForce 11 or MaxxForce 12 engines.

For an enhanced flexibility, the International TranStar is also fitted with International’s programmable Diamond Logic electrical system which allows for automation of headlights, suspension dump valve, air slide fifth wheels, power door locks and more.

International PayStar is a sever duty truck built by Navistar and it can be used for a wide range of applications such as heavy hauling, construction or water plowing. The truck is one of the toughest models build by the company and its versatile character is enhanced by a long list of engine options, axles, frame rails and wheelbases. For enhanced flexibility the truck is also available with multiple set-forward and set-back axle configurations which can be choose according to specific needs for different weight distributions.

With gross vehicle weight ratings between 52,350 – 80,000 lbs. and a solid chassis, the International Paystar looks like it was born to attack the toughest challenges with poise.

The severe duty trucks are a breed of their own. These trucks are built to endure the most arduous working conditions and to get the toughest jobs done without whining. To be able to perform at this level, the vehicles need a strongest chassis, capable suspensions and powerful and reliable engines.

The International Workstar is part of this family and it was designed as a versatile line of severe work trucks, from medium duty to heavy duty applications (class 7 and 8). The truck is available with multiple chassis and suspensions configurations in which make it suited for a wide range of applications including construction, refuse or municipal activities. The International WorkStar is available in five versions namely the 7300, 7400, 7500, 7600 and 7700. All versions use the same platform, but they have different engine outputs, axles and suspension setups.

The International City Star was introduced in 2004 and is available in two versions namely the CF500 and CF600. The truck features a cab over engine configuration and was designed as a class 4 medium duty vehicle with a GVW (gross vehicle weight) rating of up to 19.500 lbs.

The International CityStar can be used for a wide range of medium duty applications and its relatively compact dimensions give it a high maneuverability around the narrow city streets.

Under the cab, the truck is equipped with International’s VT 275 4.5-liter V6 diesel engine which offers a maximum output of 200 hp and is mated on a five speed automatic transmission.

The International DuraStar is a medium duty truck introduced by the company in 2002 and is available in three variants, the 4100, 4300 and 4400. All three models share the same chassis, but they have different engines, axles and payload capacities.

Thanks to a wide range of configurations, the truck has a highly versatile character and can be used for a wide variety of applications such as emergency services, towing, flatbed truck or a cargo box truck.

Since its launch, the truck was continuously improved and today comes in 4x4, 4x4 and 6x4 axle configurations with GVWR (gross vehicle weight ratings) ranging between 23.500-60.000 lbs. The International DuraStar is also available in both rigid or tractor configuration and is priced from $75,000.

Navistar presented the new International Loadstar vocational vehicle at the Mid-America Trucking Showing in Louisville, Kentucky. With generous GVWR (gross vehicle weight ratings) which range from 37,000 – 66,000 lbs the new International LoadStar is a severe service low cab forward work truck designed to satisfy needs like the waste, concrete pumping and airplane refueling markets.

The truck comes in numerous wheelbase options ranging from 148” - 270” and is available with either 4x2 or 6x4 axle configurations. Its power comes from the MaxxForce range of engines which feature CleanBurn Emissions Technology and will also be available with optional natural gas version from early 2013. The International LoadStar will be available for orders in October 2012 through International dealers in the United States and Canada.

The International brand has a history of almost 100 years behind it and even since the beginning it was concentrated on trucks development. The TerraStar is one of the smallest trucks built by the US manufacturer and it was designed for specific medium duty missions with a GVWR of 16,001-19,500 lbs.

The truck costs around $45,000 and features the most spacious cockpit in its class being available in both Day and Crew cab configurations. The International TerraStar is equipped with a 300 hp power MaxxForce V8 engine and the only no-hassle emissions technology available on the market which makes one of the most efficient trucks in the business.
