Floating Motors is a collaboration between Pierpaolo Lazzarini and Jet Capsule, a company that specializes in manufacturing watercraft. They have now come together and aim to transform some iconic classic car forms into boats.

Economical and cost-effective are not the terms that come to mind when talking about Lamborghinis. As one of the premier automakers globally, Lamborghini produces sleek, high-performance models that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. The brand also has a rich history that entails rivalry with Italian supercar greats like Ferrari. This long-established pedigree translated into producing models from high-performance parts in the market. The overall cost of production would mean an even bigger price tag for the consumer. Secondly, Lamborghini has produced a reduced number of its models to keep up the exclusivity. Its rarity seals the fact that not everyone can own one, but, as the years progress, some of the older models lose their shine due to better technologies and standards. These cars have become somewhat obsolete and become attainable to members of the middle class.

Lamborghini has resurrected the Countach LP500 prototype in this recreation based on the original, a car that was first revealed to the press at the 1971 Geneva Motor show. However, during subsequent testing, the supercar was destroyed.

But now, after 25,000 painstaking hours of restoration, Lamborghini has brought back the original LP 500 from the dead to celebrate the iconic car’s 50th anniversary. The car seen here is using the underpinnings of a Aventador LPI 800-4.

It’s always interesting to see how different engine layouts compare to one another. It’s even more interesting when a high-performance SUV goes up against some of the best compact sports cars and a capable hot hatchback. This is exactly the case with this drag race from Carwow, where a Lamborghini Urus is being challenged by a Porsche Cayman GT4, Audi TT RS, and a Volkswagen Golf R.

Mat Watson and his team from ‘Carwow’ pit four very different vehicles against each other on the drag strip. The mix included a Lamborghini Urus, a Porsche Cayman GT4, an Audi TT-RS, and a Volkswagen Golf R. With the difference in size, shape, weight, and engine capacities, the race is quite unpredictable.

The European Union’s comprehensive ban on combustion engines is set to go into force in 2035, but the Italian government is hoping for an exception for supercar makers. Italy is trying to negotiate with the European Union and is seeking to protect supercar makers like Ferrari and Lamborghini from the planned phase-out of combustion engine vehicles altogether. I think we can all agree that the Lamborghini Huracan is a very capable supercar out of the box. The Lamborghini Aventador is officially a decade old and a successor is due. As we mentioned a while back, the Aventador successor will feature a V-12 hybrid powertrain, based on the Sian. Moreover, according to CEO Stephan Winkelmann, it will debut later this year.

You have to admit that the automotive world would be slightly boring if it wasn’t for people with strange ideas who own sheds. So, Brooks from ‘DragTimes’ decided to have it go up against a Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD for a series of drag races. The EVO is obviously a lot more agile and suited to the track, but there’s a catch – the TRX isn’t stock. It puts out 1,000 horses; almost 30-percent more than its stock output!
