Lamborghini Special Editions Cars

From the outrageous styling, to the thumping V-12 powerplant, to the breathtaking performance, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is anything but boring. But that’s not stopping one lucky owner from turning the volume knob up to 11 on their Raging Bull. Say hello to the SC18 Alston, which comes with race-spec aero and a track-ready attitude to set it apart from its more “standard” brethren. And although it’s designed for track use, the SC18 Alston is still road-legal, bringing the best of both worlds into wing-tastic harmony.

It’s been a decade since Lamborghini opened its first dealership in Mexico. To commemorate this, the automaker has come up with four special editions based on the themes of Mexico’s culture – Life, Death, Dream, and Time. These are all aesthetic changes and come with no upgrades under the skin. The Mexico models are all about the ideology and the reasoning behind the four themes. Which edition is your favorite?

It has been over 55 years since the Lamborghini Miura was launched. It stayed in production for around seven years, during which the Italian automaker produced 764 examples of the beauty. Out of these 764 copies, three were conferred with the SVJ badge to make an ultra-rare model of a rather rare car. One of those three, a 1972 model, has now come up for sale and is listed on Kidston.com!

Lamborghini’s Motorsport division, Squadra Corse, is back with another one-off project called the SC20, following the SC18 Alston and the SCV12. With a blue and white theme all around, the supercar takes inspiration from a lot of other bulls from the company’s portfolio. It features a V-12 engine that makes 759 horses, and, to make the deal even sweeter, Lamborghini has said that the SC20 is road legal!

Lamborghini is far from a subtle automaker. None of its models can fly under the radar, and even if you ask for a toned-down color, a Lamborghini will still stand out from the pack because, well, it’s a Lamborghini. Of course, that’s not going to stop the Italian automaker from rolling out a new options package for the Urus that’ll supposedly succeed in toning down the SUV’s looks.

The new options package is called Graphite Capsule, and it includes four new exterior paint colors, neon highlights in the body and interior, and an assortment of other visual highlights. Opt for the Graphite Capsule package on your 2021 Lamborghini Urus and you stand to pay at least $218,009. That’s a healthy increase — more than $15,000 — from the price of a 2020 Urus. Then again, you are still paying for a Lamborghini. Those are expensive last we checked.

Lamborghini hasn’t been shy when it comes to rolling out special edition models. It’s a tried-and-tested formula that always works for the Italian automaker, largely because consumer demand for these SE models has always been high.

Take the 2021 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition, for example. It’s the latest in a long line of special edition Aventadors, except that this one is a celebratory SE that pays tribute to Lambo’s Ad Personam customization program. Yes, Lamborghini just rolled out a special edition Aventador SVJ to celebrate its own personalization division, though, to be fair, the Ad Personam program does have several new and exciting options on the table.

The Lamborghini Urus is the youngest model in the company’s lineup and was the best-selling product for the automaker in 2019. The company has sold over 8,300 examples of the Urus since its launch in September 2018, 4,962 copies of which were moved last year. This accounted for 60-percent of the automaker’s total sales in 2019. So, it was imperative that the company kept the product fresh and exciting entering in its third year.

To do so, Lamborghini has introduced the 2021 Urus with a new Capsule Design package along with a few other changes. The package includes new colors, carbon fiber elements, etc. Not to mention, the prices of the Urus are also increased.

When you tout a car as “the most extreme” of something, there usually aren’t many ways to make improvements on such a model. But Lamborghini is Lamborghini for a reason. The Italian automaker, with the help of its Centro Stile design division and Ad Personam customization division, managed to turn a model that’s already exclusive to 63 units into something more exclusive. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster, and it is a showstopper. To be clear, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster isn’t a special edition within a special edition. It’s a visual interpretation of what any of the 63 Aventador SVJ Roadster models could look like with the proper exclusive touches from Centro Stile and Ad Personam. Since all 63 units of the Aventador SVJ Roadster are already accounted for, the showcase model that Lamborghini unveiled at Pebble Beach is nothing more than a 759-horsepower press release on four wheels. Still, it’s hard to take your eyes away from the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster. At the very least, it makes you wonder what other personalized options are out there for this exclusive piece of hardware.

This is the Lamborghini Huracan Evo GT Celebration. It’s dressed up in orange and green, two colors that typically don’t look good together — except during Halloween — but Lamborghini somehow found a way to do it. Beyond its aesthetics, the Huracan Evo GT Celebration is an important car for Lamborghini. It’s a special edition model that was created to celebrate the Huracan GT3 Evo’s successful conquests of the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, which it did in two consecutive years. Only 36 units of the Huracan Evo GT Celebration will be built and all 36 units are earmarked for the North American market with deliveries scheduled to begin in early 2020. For those of you looking to score one of the most unique special edition Lamborghini Huracans you’ll ever see, the Huracan Evo GT Celebration is probably as unique as it’s going to get.

If the Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Jota (SVJ) isn’t rare enough for you, you’ll be happy to know that a 63-unit Aventador SVJ 63 Special Edition is also available from Lamborghini. The rarer Aventador SVJ 63 carries that name as a nod to 1963, the year patriarch Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company. Lamborghini has yet to release the price for the Aventador SVJ 63, but expect it to be heavier on the pockets compared to the $517,770 price tag of the “standard” Aventador SVJ.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed once again lived up to its billing. What’s new, right? Classic cars, modern supercars, race cars from all generations, all of them were in attendance at the annual event. That staggering volume is a big reason why Goodwood has become a must-attend event in the auto calendar. On that note, it’s also a good place to find some noteworthy gems that may have been overshadowed by some of its peers. Take for example this one-off Lamborghini Aventador S. There was little peep about it during the run-up to the event and the whole three days that the Festival of Speed was going on. Well, that ends now because we’re giving you some love, dear Lambo.

To be specific, this one-off Lamborghini Aventador S is the work of Ad Personam, the Italian automaker’s very own personalization division. It didn’t receive any hype presumably because it was designed to stand as nothing more than a showcase of Ad Personam’s abilities, but it’s still designated as a one-off creation, meaning that there’s unlikely to be anything like it in the future. Lamborghini didn’t say if the car is going to end up for sale, but considering the motive behind its development, don’t expect to see it in the hands of a customer anytime soon. Chances are it’s going to stay with Lamborghini for the foreseeable future, possibly to serve its purpose as a showcase model of the Italian automaker’s own personalization division. Still, it looked at home at Goodwood in the company of all those cars it was with. That tells you that this one-off Aventador S should have received more attention than it did.
