Lamborghini Modified Cars

Lamborghini is known for building supercars. But, with 650 horsepower under the hood, its Urus SUV is not exactly supercar material. In fact, we can name a few SUVs that deliver a lot more power than the Urus. Think for example about cars like: Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat (710 horsepower), Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk (707 horsepower) or Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid (670 horsepower).

The guys over MTM, in collaboration with Mansory, came to fix this problem!

To say that the Lamborghini Diablo is an iconic car is not an exaggeration, which is why it’s one of the most replicated cars in the world. Diablo replicas are all around and the quality varies greatly, with some being very convincing, while others being complete failures. Depending on how you look at it, the Stalker can be either of those. What started as a Lamborghini Diablo replica took an interesting turn and the end result is…well, see for yourself.

I think we can all agree that the Lamborghini Huracan is a very capable supercar out of the box. Be that as it may, the people at 7X Design thought it would be a good idea to exploit the car’s hardware to its fullest. Moreover, with help from Envisage Group from Coventry, the Huracan received a bespoke new body that seems to have been inspired by the Miura. The results, both visually and performance-wise, are mind-blowing.

You have to admit that the automotive world would be slightly boring if it wasn’t for people with strange ideas who own sheds. I myself don’t have a shed, and even if I had, I would have been too busy writing articles like this. Apparently, that wasn’t the case with someone from Lawrenceville, Georgia, who decided to make his own very convincing replica of a Lamborghini Diablo. Unfortunately for the car, he never finished it, but for $30,000, someone else could.

Novitec has a great deal of experience in tuning and developing packages for exotic cars. This time around, it has laid its hands on the Huracan EVO RWD. The German tuner has developed a styling package that includes carbon fiber elements, a new set of wheels and tires, and an upgraded suspension system and exhaust system. The package, however, doesn’t include any power boost or drivetrain upgrades.

Mansory is famous for taking some of the world’s most exotic supercars and turning them into examples of excess car tuning. No supercar is spared from a Mansory tuning creation, including the already radical Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

The Mansory-tuned Aventador SVJ — it’s called the Cabrera — gets an exaggerated new look, an engine upgrade, and an abundance of aerodynamic upgrades. Only three units of the Mansory Cabrera will be built.

This is the Lamborghini Urus, or at least it was until it turned into a Decepticon. All jokes aside, this heavily modified Urus is the proud work of Keyvany, a German tuner who apparently knows a thing or two about the Mansory way of vehicle modifications. One look at it and you’ll understand that reference. Keyvany’s tuning program for the Urus is excess personified. It’s loaded with enough carbon fiber parts and pieces to make other tuners blush. The kit also comes with a hefty engine upgrade that should delight the power-starved among us and a massive set of attention-grabbing wheels.

Lamborghini recently took the wraps off the track-only Essenza SCV12, an insane-looking beast motivated by Lamborghini’s most powerful iteration of its venerable V-12 yet at over 830 horsepower.

While that’s impressive, Lamborghini’s still very much against strapping turbos to its 12-cylinder masterpiece but tuners such as Steve Morris Engines show what these units can be made to do - in this case, deliver almost 2,300 horsepower at an ear-splitting 9,000 rpm.

The Urus is arguably the most successful and the most important product for Lamborghini today. It was launched in September 2018, and the company has moved around 8,500 examples since then. Naturally, this meant there is a demand for the SUV, which makes it a favorite for the aftermarket tuners as well. We’ve seen renditions by companies like Mansory, but this time, Hennessey has laid its hands on the Urus. Result? A 750-horsepower beast that takes less than three seconds to hit the 60 mph from a standstill. Who would’ve imagined that someday, an SUV would achieve such ridiculous numbers!

John Hennessey and company simply couldn’t refrain from giving the Lamborghini Urus a power upgrade. Make no mistake, the Urus is loaded in the performance department as it is, but this is Hennessey, so a dish made of car steroids is always welcome.

It’s not uncommon to see a heavily tuned Lamborghini Huracan. Every so often, though, a tuner comes out with a tuning kit so jaw-dropping that you’re left with no words to describe it.

That’s basically what Zyrus Engineering accomplished when it presented its latest creation. It’s called the LP1200, and it’s based on the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo, the racing variant of the standard Huracan. Yes, folks. The LP1200 is a road-legal monstrosity that’s based on a track-only racer that’s based on a road-legal car.

With 650 horsepower at its disposal and a 0 to 62 mph sprint of 3.5 seconds, the Lamborghini Urus is one of the fastest and most powerful production SUVs in stock form. It’s not as powerful as the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, rated at 707 horsepower, but you can now get a more potent Urus thanks to HGP, who tuned the 4.0-liter V-8 engine to deliver almost 1,000 horsepower. The Germans have just released a Stage 2 kit for the Urus that raises output to an amazing 947 horsepower and 922 pound-feet of torque.

The Lamborghini Huracan EVO is one of those cars that arguably needs little to no improvement. It already packs a 5.2-liter V-10 engine that produces 631 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. It can split a 60 mph time in just 2.9 seconds and it peaks at a top speed of 201 mph. Lamborghini set up the Huracan EVO to be a monster, but as we’ve seen over and over again, even the fiercest of monsters have levels that they can go up to. That job doesn’t fall on Lamborghini; that falls on the shoulders of aftermarket tuners like Novitec.

The Italian aftermarket company is known far and wide for its elaborate programs for Italy’s finest exotics. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Prancing Horse or a Raging Bull, Novitec can build tuning programs like nobody’s business. Take this kit for the aforementioned Huracan EVO, for example. It’s not enough that the mighty Lambo is what it is; Novitec wants to make it better, and that’s exactly what it did. From an aerodynamic body kit to a new set of wheels to an engine upgrade program, Novitec’s aftermarket program for the Huracan EVO is as extensive as it gets.

Mansory has always been a constant presence at the Geneva Motor Show, but this year the tuner had to shake its tail feather online, just like every other carmaker out there. And shake it did, by unveiling a new widebody kit for the Lamborghini Urus.

It’s called Venatus, which is Latin for hunting or to hunt. On that note, let’s take a closer look at the Bavarian tuner’s latest work on the Urus.

Some vehicles don’t need to do anything to stand out. Some just show up and attract attention like a flame attracts moths. The Lamborghini Urus super-SUV is one such vehicle. The Urus stands out on its own in ways very few — if any — SUVs do. Maybe it’s the way it looks, or maybe it’s the Lamborghini badge on its hood. Either way, there’s little you can do to make the Urus stand out even more. Or is there?

Novitec tried to answer that question by creating an aftermarket program that’s specifically dedicated to Lamborghini’s high-performance SUV. The result is like a lot of Novitec’s past tuning programs. It looks meaner and, more importantly, it comes with power and performance upgrades that emphatically cast aside any notion that the Urus can’t stand out more than it already does.

With over 640 horsepower on tap from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine, the Lamborghini Urus is already one of the fastest and most formidable SUVs in the market today. But as is always the case with the powerful, the status quo isn’t nearly good enough. There’s always a need for more, more, and more. That’s why when it came time to giving the Urus an aftermarket makeover, ABT Sportsline took a break from its assembly line of tuning projects for scattered Audi and Volkswagen models to turn its attention to the Italian SUV. The result is what you’d expect from the German tuner. The Lamborghini Urus now packs more punch to the tune of 700 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque. It’s not big of a jump from the Urus’ standard output, but when you’re playing around with models packing this amount of power, even the simplest of performance bumps goes a long way.
