Imagine how frustrating it would be to six-digits on a “Lamborghini” and wind up getting something with Chinese-knockoff Quality? how does a “Lanborghini” sounds? Although it sounds like a silly typo, this is not expected after splurging close to $230,000. The owner of this Lamborghini Urus claims that his brand-new car is plagued with electronic word-botches. And, to top things off, everything got worse after a software update.

One of the great things about car renderings is the ability to let your imagination go crazy. You can use an existing car model and re-imagine it without a roof, or you can get really creative and redesign it in a different body type altogether. There’s something to be said, then, for renderings that take two models from two different automakers and combine them to create an entirely new model. It’s the kind of Transformers-like job that we should be seeing more often in the real world. Or should we? The truth is, BudgetsDirect undertook this very exercise, and the results are all “interesting,” to say the least. As an added bonus, we’re doing our own part and renaming these creations in the best way we can.

The Kia Forte and the Lamborghini Aventador are two cars that couldn’t be more different from each other. One is a compact four-door sedan while the other is, well, you know what the Aventador is. On the surface, the Aventador beats the Forte in just about every meaningful discussion. But is the Lamborghini really that much better than the Forte? Kia (obviously) doesn’t think so, and believe it or not; it actually makes a compelling case for its own sedan.

Go ahead and watch the video. Tell me you didn’t get a good laugh out of it. I certainly did. Kia’s justifications for the Forte are all fair. The sedan does have two more doors than the supercar. It also has a big advantage in rear seating, cargo space, touch-screen capability, and wireless charging. It even has the Aventador beat in fuel efficiency and cost. It’s true that you can buy a Forte for a tenth of the price of an Aventador. You can even use the money you saved on something else, including that villa in Italy the voice-over guy suggested. By these metrics, the Forte wins hands down!

In all seriousness, the “rivalry” between the Forte and Aventador is tongue-firmly-planted-in-cheek humor. Give credit to Kia for thinking outside the box with the angle for this commercial. It takes a certain kind of confidence to roll out an Aventador opposite a Forte, and then actually make a compelling case for the latter as the better car.

Well done, Kia. It’s a great commercial, though, I think it would’ve probably been better if you saved this one for Super Bowl LII. Just a thought.

City Supercars is a London-based car rental company that specializes in the

for-hire business. They have models like the McLaren 570S, Ferrari F430 Spider, and even an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe, to name a few. With a high-class list of cars for hire, the company clearly gets a lot of attention, with folks everywhere asking to take pictures with the cars and showing interest in them. Well, that interest isn’t limited to the public sector of the population, as recently the London Metro Police Department expressed their own interest in the company’s Lamborghini Huracan in a bad way.

The Metro Police originally pulled over the Huracan on its way to a client because the local insurance database showed that the car was currently uninsured. As it turns out, the insurance was just renewed, but the database hadn’t been updated yet. The owner of the company and a lawyer, Erwyn Mackee, e-mailed the police department the new proof of insurance, but the police insisted on confiscating the car anyway, claiming the proof could have been altered by Photoshop to look legitimate. But that wasn’t the case at all, as results from the on-board tracker show that the car was being driven after it was confiscated.

The worst part about the whole ordeal is that the police that seized the car were intent on not only driving it, but breaking the law too. The tracker shows three different instances of the car doing 53 mph in a 30 mph zone, 47 mph in a 30 mph zone, and 63 mph in a 30 mph zone. So was the car confiscated because the officers truly believed it wasn’t insured, or did they just want to take it for a free ride?

Imagine calling for a cab and having a car that can do better than 200 mph show up in your driveway. Sounds pretty crazy, right? Well, it is, but it’s also a possibility if you live in the U.K. According to The Sun, the council that issued the private hire cab license has said that the car is the first supercar in the U.K. to be licensed as a taxi. Of course, if you do decide to hire the green Lambo as a taxi, don’t expect to pay your everyday cab fare. A 90-minute ride in this bad boy will set you back £349, or $504 at current conversion rates. That’s a pretty expensive ride to the grocery store, but hey at least you’ll get there nice and fast.

Before you lose your mind trying to figure out why someone would list something like the Huracán as a taxi, there is a pretty good story as to how the owner of the car got to this point. It all started out as a nothing more than the owner given her cousin a ride to her prom. Heidi Warke – the owner of the Huracán and co-owner of Special Wedding Cars—said, “We thought about taking customers to their proms and after looking into it realized you had to have a taxi license. It now means people can hire the car for whatever they like – if they want to come home from shopping in it, they can. Although I don’t think they will fit much in the boot!”

So, the owner of the car didn’t exactly set out to turn the Huracán into a taxi, but due to laws regarding cars for hire in the U.K., the car had to be licensed as a taxi. So, at least there is a good reason that the car is licensed as a cab. However, if you’re running late to your next big meeting or your flight out of town, you might want to call on Special Wedding Cars, as they can clearly get you there faster. For those of you who don’t know, the Lamborghini Huracán has a 5.2-liter V-10 that delivers 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. It hits 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 211 mph.

There comes a point when using irony, when you have committed yourself so fully to the premise that you actually cross back over into sincerity. This video depicts that exact moment. It is a music video for the song "True Survivor," by David Hasselhoff, which is also a tie in with the upcoming Swedish action comedy film "Kung Fury." The Kickstarter-funded film, which is being being made by a production company called Laser Unicorns, is an attempt at making the most absurdly overblown ’80s cop movie ever.

The movie certainly looks as though it will accomplish its goal, but this video pushes the ’80s theme so much that it actually just starts to make sense. The song is really absurd, but no more absurd than the rest of the pop music from 30 years ago. And David Hasselhoff singing it in front of a Lamborghini Countach with the sleeves of his jacket pushed up and the fog machine going just looks fitting. In fact, without the hilarious footage from the film in the video, featuring people riding dinosaurs and Adolf Hitler (also know in the movie as “Kung Fuhrer”), you might not even realize that any of this is a joke.

People around the world cook different animals and birds around the holidays, but no mater the meat you need to prepare, cooking can sometimes be very difficult. However, Youtube user Shmee150 found a very special way of cooking the Christmas turkey that is right up our alley.

He makes use of a car, of course, but not an ordinary car. He uses a Lamborghini Aventador with some cool updates from Oakley Design. Oakley’s updates include a full titanium exhaust system that adds another 60 horsepower to the car’s final output and a new rear spoiler that improves the car’s aerodynamic features.

Okay, so how do these updates help cook a turkey? Well, thanks the new exhaust system, the Aventador literally spits fire, so Shmee150 held the turkey to the flames as they shot from the tailpipe.

Of course, we are pretty sure that the turkey he ate in the end of the video is not the one cooked with the Aventador’s exhaust, especially considering the Aventaor isn’t the cleanest-running car on the planet at 370 g/km of CO2 emissions, but the idea behind this video is pretty cool.

When someone comes to ask you if you want to spend an entire day with the Lamborghini Aventador coupe and roadster versions, the only correct answer will be:

"Yes, please!"

Or... “Si Si Prego,” in bad Italian if you want to have them for a few extra days.

This is exactly what the guys over the British magazine AutoCar did when they were invited to spend the day with the Aventador.

What can you do when you have both the Aventador Coupe and Roadster in your garage? Not much, right? While most of the people will try to put them next to their usual competitors, AutoCar decided to do something a little bit more interesting. They put the two supercars one next to the other and wanted to see which one is the best. In theory they should deliver the same driving experiences, but in real life is a little bit different.

AutoCar didn’t put the two models on a 0 to 60 mph test, not quarter mile or top speed. Instead they wanted to see if the two models can fly!

Posting videos of speeding vehicles on YouTube may seem fun, and can even be profitable in some instances, but it comes with a whole host of risks. First and foremost, there’s the ever present danger that if said car’s license plate is shown in a video, then the police can easily track the owner and issue them with a host of driving violations.

Well, that’s exactly what recently happened to a 38-year-old, Japanese CEO named Mikami Tadao. He was recently captured after the following video depicted him speeding through a Japanese tunnel, at what’s suspected to be 97 mph or almost 60 mph faster than the legal speed limit.

Although the video certainly doesn’t seem to capture the offending Lamborghini Gallardo traveling at those speeds, we’ll take Asahi’s word for it. Nevertheless, Tadao was clearly speeding through the tunnel based on how many car’s the Italian supercar passes, and on one hand we can understand the attraction of pinning the throttle to capture the glorious V-10 cacophony of the car, but on the other hand, posting the video on YouTube obviously pushed it a bit too far.

The offense is believed to have occurred January 2, 2010 and the man was captured on March 9 this year, and we believe, he’s still behind bars with an array of traffic offenses expected to be passed down on him when, and if, the case ever makes it to court.

We’ve seen our fair share of cars of which we would classify as “overkill” in the past few years, and the following gold-chrome wrapped Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is the ‘golden’ definition of that term.

Not only is the car featured in the following videos one of the most distasteful Lamborghini’s we’ve ever seen, but it wasn’t actually created in an abandoned warehouse where no one would ever see it but rather unveiled by Lamborghini Miami CEO, Brett David over the weekend and that’s when the trouble started.

While on the way to a photoshoot with the respected car photographers over at NueVueProductions, the golden Aventador was pulled over by police after pulling off a highly-entertaining, yet highly-illegal fly by on the motorway before the familiar blue and red flashing police lights appeared in the distance of the on-board camera-car’s GoPro HD.

The most interesting thing about this story is the fact that police simply let the driver and car go, with NueVueProductions posting “The Police were Great! they let him go. Oh yea.. they Loved the car too!”

Now, we’re not sure if the police really did ‘love’ the car, as the golden exterior may have simply blinded their logic but either way, the videos are very entertaining!

We hate saying this but many people buy expensive supercars just to be seen in them. Rather than appreciating the engineering and hard work which is put into creating these exotics, the sad truth is people buys cars like the Lamborghini to find beautiful women who will be “wooed” by their expensive taste.

But does expensive always mean more girls will be attracted to you cruising in your car? Well, Motor Trend teamed up with HOT ROD Magazine’s David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan when they rented a Lamborghini Aventador for 24 hours, costing a cool $6000 dollars. They were also lucky enough to take an extremely unique and one-off 1930 Model A ‘Rat Rod’ which was only ever designed for automotive conventions and shows, rather than actual driving.

The goal of the test? Well, it was simply to find out which car attracts the most attention when cruising through Californian streets, and the result may surprise you.

Videos of supercars revving in London, England consistently surface on YouTube as the place is packed full of incredible hypercars. These cars continually roam the crowded streets as London is extremely popular for rich Arabian businesspeople who often ship their car’s to the UK for its cool Summer.

This following video contains three core components: An incredible, blacked out Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, a wealthy UK owner doing the videographer a huge favor, and an incredibly nasty Londoner who, as you’ll soon find out, brings a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘crazy.’

The videographer, who in this case was shooting for the supercarsoflondon YouTube channel, asked the owner to rev his stunning Lamborghini not expecting the onslaught which would soon followed.

An angry man swiftly goes up to the Lamborghini in protest that the insane revving “scared” him and others around the car, before releasing a barrage of assaults. That is when the NSFW content comes into play.

Although the owner does insult the pedestrian after his initial complaint, it didn’t warrant the insults which followed. The owner goes on to continually state that he was simply doing it as a favor to the man filming, but the “mental guy” doesn’t take that for an excuse.

Check out the video, and it’s obvious which side of the argument we’re on as who in their right minds could not enjoy that lovely exhaust note, but whose side are you on?

We all love viral videos. Sure, half of them are completely irrelevant to everyday life, but we can always find time to watch them. The following video is no exception, with it raking up in almost 2 million views in a couple of days, and it’s not surprising why.

A trio of citizens from Chicago in the U.S. managed to film a $225,000 Lamborghini Gallardo crashing into oncoming traffic and swiftly bursting out laughing, just like we did, even though thousands of dollars of damage was inevitably caused. After all, it’s always fun watching videos of supercar drivers who have no clue in how to control their mighty, Italian machines.

One of the most ironic things about the video is that the man filming picked that the Lamborghini owner was going to pin the throttle through the turn and then just seconds later, it all started to unfold. Whilst getting off the line quite slowly, the owner began to increase their speed through the corner (just like any other good driver does) but before straightening out, the throttle was floored and a split-second later, the tail begins to slide wide sending the Italian supercar into two stationary cars on the opposing side of the road.

All we can say is that we’d hate to see the driver controlling a rear-wheel drive car, as that obviously wouldn’t end well.

Over the years, we’ve seen almost every match-up conceivable to test both abilities of man and machine, until we stumbled upon the following video. Cars have shown themselves against other cars for years, and even a variety of motorcycles, but before now, we’d never seen a Lamborghini pitted against a strongman.

As a part of the 2009 World’s Strongest Man competition, one of the incredibly fierce competitors was put behind aLamborghini Murcielago R-GT race car and had to hold it back for as long as possible, eventually holding the Diablo back for 6 seconds. However, before the game could get underway in earnest, the clutch of the R-GT broke and throughout the first half of the video, you’ll notice that the Murci is simply revving rather than pulling the man and utilizing all of its torque, so instead a Lamborghini Diablo racer was called in to get the job done.

The clock started when the famous supercar began to burn up its rear tires in a valiant effort to pull the strongman off his feet but it failed to do so until he let go at the 6 second mark. The occurrence of the wheels spinning may look extremely impressive, but the vast majority of the cars power and torque are lost during this spectacle and it would be a better representation of the car’s ability if it were all-wheel-drive and could access all the necessary power.

Nevertheless, it’s an incredible effort to hold back a car packing in excess of 500 horsepower for upwards of 5 seconds, and something you’re never likely to see in real life, so check out the video!

Here’s something you don’t get to see everyday. In an effort to promote the 2012 New York Auto Show, event organizers decided to take a different route than conventional advertising.

Trust us, it can’t get any more different than the Lamborghini Aventador hot dog cart. The Italian supercar was parked in midtown Manhattan together with a cart of Sabrett hot dogs and anybody that walked up to it could get - wait for it - free hotdogs! Nothing gets New Yorkers more amped up than free stuff, then you add the obvious attraction that is the Aventador and you have the prefect blitzkrieg cross-promotion.

In the middle of all the gawking at the Aventador and the chowing done of the hot dogs, the tinge of irony surrounding one slogan in the cart that says "keep parks clean" wasn’t lost on us. After all, for all the positive messages and call to action the slogan is encouraging, it goes without saying that a Lamborghini Aventador is the farthest thing from what you’d describe as eco-friendly.

Nevertheless, the publicity stunt must have worked wonders for the organizers because the early returns on the 2012 New York Auto Show suggested that the event was one of the most successful stagings in the past years.

Maybe next year they’ll come up with a Ferrari F12berlinetta that dispenses free subway tickets.

There are a lot of new car scams in the world and most of them are initiated by the new car dealer, not the buyer. A group of buyers flipped the script on several Los Angeles dealerships, by using fake identities to purchase 20 cars and were shipping them to Hong Kong and Vietnam to sell them for two to three times their U.S. value.

It was a laundry list of luxury vehicles, such as a $280,000 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia, an Audi Quattro, 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, along with several Mercedes, Lexus, Infiniti, and BMW SUVs among others. For some reason, the thieves even threw in a Toyota Tundra.

The one that got these fraudsters busted was the Ferrari 458 Italia, as Ferrari fitted the supercar with a GPS system as standard, which Ferrari used to track the car once they found out they were defrauded. This led U.S. Customs and the California highway Patrol to conduct a full investigation and find the cars on a ship that had already pulled away from the port.

Needless to say, that ship was forced to come back and all but four of the cars were recovered. The four non-recovered cars are due to be shipped back by Vietnamese Customs.

According to the report, had the fraudsters not gone after the Ferrari, chances are they would have gotten away with this scam and made a ton of money in the process. The total amount of the vehicles seized by U.S. customs is estimated at $1.5 million, which would have pulled in around $3 million in Hong Kong and Vietnam.

We are still trying to figure out what in the world a Toyota Tundra was doing in the mix with all of these high-end luxury cars. We also wonder which thief drew the short straw and was stuck going to the Toyota dealership to pick this thing up?

About a week ago, we showed you photos of Batman getting pulled over by the Montgomery County police in Maryland for not having the proper tags on his Lamborghini.

It turns out, Batman’s real name isn’t Bruce Wayne, but Lenny Robinson, and he wasn’t on his way back to the Bat Cave as some people expected. Rather, he makes courtesy visits at DC-area hospitals to spend some quality time with sick children.

This video, which was captured by the Montgomery police, pretty much tells you everything you need to know about the man. He was very polite, he was very cooperative to the cops, and he even took some time to shake hands with the police, as well as pose for some photos.

Nothing like a cool story to get you up and running in the day. We certainly appreciate Batman for his warm-hearted intentions of brightening up some sick child’s day, although it would probably be a good idea to just put the car’s real tags on the car to avoid another incident like this from happening.

Apparently, even a crime fighter like Batman isn’t above the law, especially when it comes to having no tags on his Batmobile...err...Lamborghini.

As it turns out, Batman was cruising around in Maryland when he was pulled over by the Montgomery County Police Department because the car didn’t have any plates on it. While we understand the Caped Crusader doesn’t want people checking on his DMV records, it might still have been a good idea to abide by the law. Otherwise, you’re pretty much attracting police cars to your Lamborghini the same way you do to the Bat signal.

Rumors circle the internet like vultures do a carcass, but sometimes these rumors are so funny, they are picked up by many in an attempt to have a good laugh in the middle of a long work day. The latest knee-slapper is that former US president, Gerge W. Bush, has gone out and purchased himself a brand new Lamborghini Aventador at a Houston dealership. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but stranger things have happened.

This news comes from a Luxury4Play forum member who was told by a principle of a Lamborghini dealership in Houston that the former president rode off in a shiny black Aventador. This tidbit of information got so much attention that the Director of Communications from the Bush’s office emailed the forum politely asking them to correct the issue. Apparently, media outlets everywhere were calling the office in an attempt to confirm the purchase. Who says automotive websites don’t carry clout?
