For those who can’t afford a $400,000 Lamborghini Aventador, might we offer you an alternative that’s a tenth of the supercar’s price tag? It’s still a Lamborghini Aventador, or at least it’s part of what looks like an Aventador. It’s not technically the Lambo supercar, but it is a desk that takes the form of the Aventador’s front section. It comes from Poland-based Design Epicentrum Manufacture, and it costs just €30,000, or just over $35,000 based on current exchange rates.

Lamborghinis typically cost north of $250,000, and that’s just for a base unit of the entry-level Huracan. Most of us are immediately priced out of buying one, but if you’re desperate, there is one Lamborghini that’s up for sale on Craigslist that you can afford. It has sexy styling, street-park cruising capability, and a Bluetooth wireless speaker. Best of all, it only costs $159! This is one Lamborghini we can all get on board with.

Part of what makes Lamborghini a premium brand is that it can slap its name on anything and that “thing” suddenly becomes a premium item. No more is this evident than on laptops and smartphones. Remember the Asus Lamborghini VX Series? How about the ZX1 smartphone? Now, the Raging Bull’s likeness will once again be stamped on a smartphone. This one is called “Alpha-One,” and it’s a waste of $2,450.

Now, I will indulge those who think a Lamborghini-branded smartphone is something worth splurging on. The Alpha-One, to its credit, isn’t a shill. It does have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is supposedly fast and does lots of cool things. It also has four gigabytes worth of RAM with expandable storage, a 20-megapixel rear camera, an eight-megapixel front camera, a fingerprint scanner, a 5.5-inch WQHD display, and an Android Nougat operating system. I’ll give it this much: it’s well-equipped, which is more than what other faux mobile phone brands can say for themselves. Take it a step further and you might even be impressed by its supposed liquid metal frame and Italian handmade black leather back case, which by the way, has its own contrast stitching. On the surface, everything about it checks out as a premium smartphone, and that’s precisely what it’s problem is. As well-equipped as it is, there’s no way that the Alpha-One should cost $2,450, roughly double the price of the most powerful version of the iPhone that’s out in the market today. Then again, that’s the price people will have to pay for it, all because it has “Lamborghini” logo.

So your loved one can’t find you a perfect holiday gift? Christmas is just around the corner, and he or she is probably getting desperate, right? Don’t worry because we’ve got something here that’s going to turn your Christmas upside down, provided that your loved one has the money to spend for it. This is a speaker system. Let’s move beyond drooling over the speaker and check out what it’s all about. First of all, it’s not just your ordinary expensive speaker. This bad boy was designed with iconic Lamborghini features, from the hexagonal speaker design that looks a lot like the trademark intakes from the Italian automaker. Instead of its traditional use, these intakes now house some incredibly powerful amplifiers that are capable of producing a staggering 800 watts of insane power. Outside of that, the speaker also features quad exhaust pipes, Lamborghini’s own logo, a carbon fiber chassis, and shock absorbers. The overall makeup of the Lamborghini iXoost Esavox speaker system is enough to make even the most snobbiest of audiophiles stand up and take notice. About the only downside of this Lamborgini-themed Esavox speaker system (other than the incredible price tag) is that the whole thing weighs a ridiculous 116 pounds. But hey, that’s a small price to pay for owning one of the most exclusive speaker systems that kind of money can buy.

Sure, the price is way up there, but rest assured, nobody’s going to complain if they end up on the receiving end of a gift like this. Well, maybe your neighbors...

Lamborghini’s a marque that has never had a use for subtlety. As a lifelong creator of the sorts of cars that look more at home on posters than on the street, it’s surprising to think that it’s been in the supercar business for 50 years now. A new book from Motorbooks brings that history to life. Lamborghini Supercars 50 Years is available now from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other outlets.

The exotic lines of Lamborghini’s parade of dream-car sheet metal are expertly captured by automotive photographer James Mann, while Stuart Codling provides the backstory. It’s fitting material for a coffee table book, and this handsomely bound volume was designed to be just that. It’s a walk through Lamborghini’s supercars from the beginning, from the Miura up through the Huracan, including specifications and a behind-the-scenes look at the design and production of Lamborghini’s most iconic models.

It’s a tale spanning of 50 years of constant one-upmanship, in which each successive Lamborghini aims farther, faster and more extreme than its predecessor. In addition to being a parade of fine photographs of beautiful cars, Lamborghini Supercars 50 Years provides technical details of the many variants of each model, and background information about the men who designed and engineered them.

You know how everybody seems to trip over each other trying to score the iPhone 6 or the Samsung Galaxy S5 in time for the holidays? I should know because I’m trying to do the same thing as we speak. But if getting any of these smartphones is a problem, Tonino Lamborghini has a new smartphone that could make you forget that iPhone even exists. The phone is called the Tauri 88 and it’s got Lamborghini luxury and all-world technology splattered all over it, all the way to its price tag.

Everything about the Tauri 88 screams “exclusive!” and that even includes its availability. Tonino Lamborghini’s only building 1,947 units of the Tauri 88 as a nod to the birth year of Tonio Lamborghini, the son of Lamborghini founder Ferruccio. The only downside to the phone is its price tag. If you want to be one of the lucky few to own the Tauri 88, you’re going to need $6,000 to buy one.

Yup. $6,000.

We suppose that anybody with the right kind of common sense won’t be coerced into shelling that kind of money for a smartphone, even if it comes by way of Tonino Lamborghini. Then again, we’ve seen purchases like this before and we’re almost certain to see them again. It’s just a little hard to fathom parting ways with that kind of money for a phone.

The holiday season is upon us so its entirely understandable if you’re scrambling to get your Christmas shopping done as soon as possible. You don’t want to be one of those people who receive all these cool gifts and give gift certificates in return, right? These days, it’s perfectly normal to do online shopping. As a matter of fact, it has become a more convenient way to shop for gifts than going to the mall and squeezing yourselves between throngs of people doing the exact same thing. So we’re doing all of you a solid by compiling a list of gift options that you or your gearhead family members may be interested in. But instead of scouring the usual online stores, we’ve taken a slightly different approach and went straight to the online stores of some our favorite automakers.

We scoured for cool items to suggest and found a whole bunch of them. These items range in price from affordable gifts like a computer mouse all the way to a premium smartphone that isn’t even on the market yet. Just remember that these gifts are just suggestions. The holiday season is here and just to help you out with some gift ideas, here’s one special collector’s model that you might want to get for someone. It is a 1/12-scale Lamborghini Countach model built by the Japanese company Goodsmile. In total, this model is 345 mm (13.6 inches) long, 157.7 mm (6.2 inches) wide and 89 mm (3.5 inches) tall.

There’s no denying the fact that enthusiasts love to collect scale models of classics, as well as modern cars. There are quite a few brands that make detailed works of art and the one from Goodsmile doesn’t come cheap.

This Lamborghini Countach LP400 in 1/12 scale will set you back ¥120,000, which is about $1200 at the current rates. Yes, that’s a lot but if you look closely, the cars are built with utmost attention to detail. Goodsmile actually scanned the full-size car, using modern 3D scanning techniques to achieve this sort of perfection. Each of the 500 parts are meticulously die-cast, or formed in ABS or resin to give it the perfect shape and size. The models are so perfect that not even an inch of deviation is spared.

The classic scissor doors swivel up to reveal the supercar’s uber-cool interior. The engine bay door also opens, so that one can glance at the glorious V-12 engine that resides beneath. The cabin light turns on when the doors are swung open, headlights popup and instrument panel glows much like the real thing. The tires are hollow so that the weight of the car squashes them against the ground surface giving it a more authentic look. Rounding out this realistic model are wheels that you can remove and bolt back with a specially provided tool. Now, that’s really cool!

The unfortunate thing is that the models will not be ready for shipping until October 2014, so you will have to wrap up a picture of the model this Christmas and tell the receiver that it will arrive in about a year’s time. Alternatively, this could be an early idea for next Christmas.

We know Christmas is still about one month away, but for those of you who want to have the gifts ready for the holiday, we have a very cool suggestion. This gift idea comes from Poland and we have to admit is one of the coolest yet.

We are talking about a special desk that features the front of a Lamborghini Murcielago. The desk developer says that it uses only original Italian pieces, but the fact we see no logo on the front of the car make us wonder if they are being honest or not.

All legitimacy aside, this orange desk could be the perfect gift for any car enthusiast out there, with, or without original parts. All you need is a total of $11,140, and the desk can be all yours. We’re wonder if this desk will help you finish your work as quickly as the Murcielago sprinted to 60 mph — about 3.4 seconds in its final production year.

Let’s face it; there’s absolutely no chance in this world that we can even get a sniff of the Lamborghini Aventador J. Lamborghini only made one model and who knows where it is now.

But even without actually touching or looking at the one-off supercar, that doesn’t mean we can’t own one. The only caveat is if we were to own one, it would be in the size of a 1:18 scale model of the Aventador J.

That’s where AUTOart Models enter the picture.

You might recall that this company was already featured here last December with its own 1:18 scale model of the Aventador. Now, it’s taking things up a notch with a remarkable scale model of the one-off Aventador J.

We say “remarkable” because the actual Aventador J was an Italian engineering marvel complete with significant carbon-fiber elements. Being able to replicate the design in a scale that small is a testament to the skill of AUTOart Models.

Car Shoe, a company that specializes in driving leisure apparel, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. So is Lamborghini. So what better way to kill two birds with one stone than unveiling a pair of moccasins that celebrates both birthdays.

That’s what Car Shoe thought and that’s what they did. These pairs are limited-edition pieces that were made to identify with the celebrations of both companies. As you can see, those moccasins are completely genuine and also come with numerous Lamborghini-inspired details, including colors from the automaker’s supercar range, as well as the company’s iconic Raging Bull logo that has been added to the back of the shoes.

And if you’re wondering whether Lamborghini signed off and allowed Car Shoe to use its branding, it certainly appears so because each of the Lamborghini owners that participated in the Grande Giro were given a pair.

As for the rest of us, Car Shoe is planning to release the shoes to the public in the future, although a specific price has yet to be announced.

Those pairs definitely look sweet and made that much better if we had Lamborghinis too.

Lamborghini’s latest toy could be an amazing gift for the car-loving kid who knows how to take care of collectibles, or it could be one of those "I’m buying myself a great present" moments. This 1:18 scale Aventador LP 700-4 was built by Burago and is wrapped in Swarovski crystals. Yes, Swarovski.

Each unit is painted in a crystal color and features a total of 8400 Swarovski elements, emitting luxury and stunning brilliance from this tiny supercar. Each unit also comes in a Black leatherette box with an awe-inspiring realistic design.

Only 500 units of this very cool die-cast Aventador will be produced, so if anyone wants one, they’ll need to move fast and produce €1,000, about $1,300 at the current exchange rates. It may be a little early for Christmas, but they’ll surely sell out before that time comes.
