The Porsche 911 GT3 is the ultimate, normally-aspirated 911 and the YouTube channel AutoTopNL recently got its hands on a 992 GT3 Touring – the more street-oriented, “less shouty” version of the normally-aspirated track weapon, without the crazy aero. And while race tracks are the home of the GT3, here, we see how capable the wingless version is, on the Autobahn. Is the “purest 911” capable enough, in the age of turbocharged performance cars?

Man’s imagination knows no bounds and when it comes to cars, we often see some truly epic creations. Luckily, the internet makes it possible for us to see these creations, and this interesting mix of Porsche Maserati and Nissan is the latest we have stumbled upon.

The folks at ‘Carwow’ brought two Ford Mustangs to the drag strip. One of them is the 760-horsepower Shelby Mustang GT500, and the other, a Clive Sutton Mustang that makes 850 horses. Can the Sutton-tuned Mustang get an easy win, or will the Shelby GT500 defy the odds and pin its rival down? Let’s find out.

So to properly celebrate Christmas, Lamborghini set up a lifestyle-y convoy that’s been traveling around Italy to various points of interest, including the CO2-neutral Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters, the sinuous roads of Alto Adige, and Plan de Corones in the Dolomites, at altitudes of 2,275 meters (7,463 feet), and the AlpiNN restaurant run by Michelin three-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler.

The tour’s main stars were none other than Lamborghini’s V8, V-10, and V-12 powered go-fast machines: the Urus, the Huracan EVO, and the Aventador SVJ. What’s the reason to celebrate, you’re asking? Well, other than the holiday season, an unseen-before boost in sales and profitability for the carmaker. Driven by the Urus super-SUV’s popularity, Lamborghini delivered more than 8,000 cars worldwide, a hefty increase compared to the 5,750 units it shipped in 2018.

But, hey, we didn’t bring you here for boring sales reports and whatnot. You’re here to enjoy a fleet of mean performance cars flaunting their shapes and lines in some of Italy’s most stunning landscapes. Oh, yeah, the drivers weren’t afraid to take the cars out for a fun session in the snow; and if that’s not a proper way to look back on 2019 and reflect on what the new year might bring, we don’t know what is. Ferrari launched the F8 Tributo as the 488 GTB’s successor in 2019. It came with the 488 Pista’s drivetrain and underpinnings, but slot itself as an entry-level supercar, unlike the track-ready model. German aftermarket company Novitec quickly snapped the 2020 model year of the F8 Tributo and came out with its own iteration of it, which consisted of a body kit, new wheels, an engine tune-up, etc. Seeing the popularity, Novitec came up with one for the 2021 F8 Tributo as well.

Now, the company has come another version of the 2021 F8 Tributo called the F8 N-Largo. This limited-edition model comes with a new set of wheels, an engine upgrade, and a widebody kit.

With the pandemic still looming over our heads, 2021 was a pretty action-packed year for the auto industry. Sure, you had challenges, with automakers having to contend with issues like chip shortages, causing delays to consumers. But regardless, the show had to go on and we got some pretty cool cars making their debut, predominantly towards the latter half of 2021.

Developing a car from scratch starts with some drawing and calculations, then the building of test prototypes, then pre-production cars, and eventually the pilot production vehicles. Most of the time, test prototypes are usually destroyed when their use has been exceeded, yet here we are looking at a test prototype of the Porsche 959 – a car that is believed to be one of the few surviving examples of the F-Series prototypes from 1985. It’s currently listed for sale on Mechatronik for an undisclosed price, but is It truly authentic?

Porsche brought back the "Sports Classic" name with the Porsche 911 997 generation as a successor for the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS. Now, the name will be used once again, and an official launch for the new generation Porsche 911 992 Sport Classic is rumored for February 2022.

A while back there was a rumor that McLaren Special Operations (MSO) is going to build a "successor" for the SLR McLaren. Now, those rumors are one step closer to becoming reality as supercar collector Manny Khoshbin just posted on his Instagram account pictures of a scale model of what appears to be a new SLR McLaren.

The folks at Carwow came up with yet another interesting mix of cars for a series of races. The contenders this time were three Porsches, namely, the 992 911 Turbo S, the 991 911 GT2 RS, and the 992 911 GT3. The Turbo S and the GT2 RS have twin turbos, unlike the naturally aspirated GT3, but only the Turbo S had an all-wheel-drive system here. When Lamborghini launched the special edition Aventador Ultimae LP 780-4, we knew the end of an era was coming. After a decade on the market, the Aventador is finally going to be retired. Previous rumors suggested that it will be the last Lamborghini model to feature a V-12 engine, but it looks that Lamborghini is not ready just yet to give up on the V-12.

A successor for the Aventador is right around the corner, and despite many rumors, it will continue offering a V-12 engine- it’s a hybridized engine, that’s true, but still a V-12.
