Bill Thomas Cheetah: The Forgotten Cobra Rival Commissioned By Chevrolet
When it comes to high-performance cars, the phrase “win on Sunday, sell on Monday” is still, very much, true. But it was in the 1960s when those words were most notably put into action. The Shelby Cobra is one of the most legendary cars from the 1960s. It was also very successful in motorsports and Chevrolet didn’t like that. So, they turned to an old Chevy associate – Bill Thomas. He, in turn, came with a car even crazier than the Cobra – the 1963 Cheetah.

Composite Beds On Pickup Trucks - Boon or Bane?
The 2022 Toyota Tundra came out with all guns blazing. It doesn’t offer a plethora of engine options like its American rivals, but it still has a strong and loyal fan base who swear by its reliability. No wonder the Tundra and the Tacoma have a high demand even in the pre-worshipped market. While the 2022 model’s highlight was the new hybrid engine, there’s one other thing that deserves attention – its composite bed. It is said to be more abuse-friendly, but is that true?

When you talk about rare cars, you probably think of high-end Bugattis, Ferraris, Porsches, etc. No one would think of a regular production car to be a rare one, unless it is a vintage. But, surprisingly, many cars are actually quite rare and get lost in the crowd without getting noticed. Unless you have a keen eye or you’re a diehard petrol head, you too may not have noticed them. Doug DeMuro lists nine such rare cars that you might have walked or driven by without giving it a second look.

Chevrolet ZRX - The Raptor and TRX-Rivalling Off-Road Performance Truck That Chevy Desperately Needs
GM has been quite active in the pickup truck space since the beginning. It has even bifurcated its trucks between two brands – Chevrolet and GMC – and combined, both of them rake up pretty good numbers. Chevy brings in more sales as opposed to GMC and has managed to keep up with Ford and Ram in terms of models and trim levels on each of them. It even announced an electric Silverado that could arrive in a couple of years. However, the automaker has lagged in the case of a performance off-road truck. There are Silverado trims with off-roading prowess, but there’s no standalone model like the Ford F-150 Raptor and the Ram 1500 TRX.
There were rumors of Chevy working on one such product, but there’s still no concrete detail. It was rumored to be called the ZRX, but those were mere speculations. Chevy had trademarked the ‘ZRX’ moniker sometime back, but there seems to be no development on that front thus far. Is the automaker missing out on something big by not offering a performance off-road truck to the market? We sure think so.

Some of these models were one-off creations that have become holy grails while others were short-lived flops that Chevy probably prefers to be kept under the rug. The Best Corvettes Ever Made
Unveiled on January 17th at the Autorama in New York City a whopping 67 years ago, the Corvette grew from an underpowered answer to Europe’s sports car-making powerhouses to become one of the most famous cars ever manufactured in the United States. Often referred to as ’America’s Sports Car’, it now broke into the supercar arena with the release of the eighth generation. It’s, thus, a good moment to take a look back at the finest Corvettes ever made including Callaway’s finest moment.
The Corvette is such a household name in the automotive industry that few people would picture the vessel that lent its name to Chevrolet’s first foray into the world of sports cars when you say the word ’Corvette’. All but a sub-brand, the Corvette built its reputation both on the road, as a friendly grand tourer engineered to cope with the hardships of everyday driving, and on the track where it raced against and beat the Europeans and everyone else in between. Sure, there were some duds along the way including, should we say, the original Corvette C1 with that uninspiring inline-six engine but there were also many brilliant ones and here are our top 10 picks in no particular order.
