Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Makes a Strong Case For Manual Cars At The Autobahn
The Porsche 911 GT3 is the ultimate, normally-aspirated 911 and the YouTube channel AutoTopNL recently got its hands on a 992 GT3 Touring – the more street-oriented, “less shouty” version of the normally-aspirated track weapon, without the crazy aero. And while race tracks are the home of the GT3, here, we see how capable the wingless version is, on the Autobahn. Is the “purest 911” capable enough, in the age of turbocharged performance cars?
The Greatest Luxury Performance Sedans We Never Got
Performance luxury sedans are the perfect middle ground for those seeking comfort, practicality and performance in a single package. And while we have gotten plenty of great examples like the BMW M5, Mercedes AMG GT63, Porsche Panamera, and others, there are those that came to us as concepts, but never delivered in the real world. Here are the most prominent culprits.
2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo
The Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo is the more practical version of Porsche’s first, modern-day EV. More importantly, from 2022, both body styles get a GTS version. The Porsche Taycan GTS is already shaping up to be right in the middle of the Taycan lineup, in terms of price and performance, but it also brings a bit more excitement. Find out how, below.
2022 Porsche Taycan GTS
Although Porsche’s most definitive model is the 911, these days it’s the Taycan that often steals the show. Porsche’s first, modern-day EV gave the Tesla Model S a worthy competitor from an established brand and now, the Porsche Taycan is blessed by the GTS moniker. How does it stack up to the rest of the lineup and does GTS still stand for the sweet spot in Porsche’s lineup?
2022 Porsche 911 GT3 70 Years Porsche Australia Edition
Porsche was founded back in 1931, and 20 years later, on November 1st, 1951 it started to sell cars on the Australian market. The first car introduced to the Australians was the Porsche 356. Now, 70 years later, Porsche marks the event with the launch of the special 911 GT3 70 Years Porsche Australia Edition - a car inspired, of course, by the 356.
The model is based on the 911 GT3 with Touring Package and it is the first special edition ever created by Porsche for the Australian market.

2022 Porsche 911 GT3 956 Edition
The Porsche 911, in all its versions, is one of the most definitive sports cars of all time. With this in mind, Porsche’s “Sonderwunsch” (special request) program occasionally spawns some truly epic versions, based on the rear-engine sports car. Such is the case with this Porsche 992 GT3 “956 Edition”.
Porsche 911 GT3 Looks Amazing In 956-Inspired Livery
Paolo Barilla, overall winner of Le Mans in 1985, is celebrating his birthday in style. In cooperation with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, he designed his dream car. He wanted to drive a car that will remind him of the car he drive back in 1985. He opted for a Porsche 911 GT3 and went for the same color scheme found on the Porsche 956, but also went for unique wheels and a redesigned interior.
This 1979 Custom Porsche 911 Turbo "Lil Hot Stuff" Is The Culmination of 1970s Excess
The first automobile was invented in 1886 and since then many great cars have emerged. But even nearly 140 years after the automobile’s invention, there are very few cars that have a cult following as zealous as that of the Porsche 911. This is especially true for the air-cooled models, which are all-time classics. If we combine the significance of an air-cooled 911 with the cocaine-snorting excess of the 1970s, we can see how a one-off 1979, guards red, modified Porsche 911 Turbo can be listed for $599,000 by a Florida dealership.
Drag Race: How Much Quicker Is A Porsche 911 GT3 Than A 911 Carrera?
Our UK colleagues from Carwow have come up with another interesting drag race. This time, two versions of the Porsche 992 go head to head. You can probably tell, which of the two is going to win since we are talking about a base Porsche 911 Carrera and a 911 GT3. Racetrack performance aside, the question here is how much quicker the GT3 is, and will it be able to justify the enormous price difference?

Porsche 911 GT3 Touring – The Ultimate Sleeper Porsche
The Porsche 911 GT3 looks just as brutal as it drives, but maybe it looks a little too brutal to you. If you’re not a fan of the GT3’s massive rear spoiler but want all of the other GT3 goodness, then the 911 GT3 Touring is exactly what the doctor ordered. This is technically a second-gen 911 GT3 Touring, as the first GT3 Touring was offered as part of the 991.2-gen lineup. And, just like its predecessor, this GT3 touring comes with all the power and tech, but in a more subdued, humble package.
