Audi recently unveiled its very own charging lounge concept. It is currently opening the first of them to the public at a very visible location, i.e at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center in Germany.

Audi is testing this new charging model in action for the first time with this pilot location. The fast-charging station features reservable high-power charging bays, along with a lounge area with a vending machine that will serve customers as they put some juice back into their EVs.

Audi’s onslaught in the EV segment continues. Less than a month after debuting the convertible two-seater Skysphere concept, the automaker has now unveiled another concept; this time a four-door concept called the Grandsphere. The concept comes with interesting specs like a dual motor setup, 711 horses and 708 pound-feet of torque, 0-62 mph in just over four seconds, etc. The stretched model which Audi calls “private jet for the roads” is surprisingly even longer than some Ford F-150 models! Seems like an interesting product, doesn’t it?

Concept cars come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The Skysphere Concept, which Audi has now digitally unveiled, is unique in more ways than one. It is a massive autonomous open two-seater GT car, that can drive itself.

However, the biggest highlight of this long electric roadster with a soft-top is its ability to change its dimensions on the fly by 9.8 inches. Yes, you heard that right, at the push of a button, the 16-feet long GT extends its length and gets even longer to 17-feet.

Following Audi’s last teaser for the Grand Sphere concept – a flagship sedan with RS6-like proportions and potentially a hint at the next-gen A8, Audi has shown off another teaser. This time, we’re looking at the Sky Sphere which is, appropriately, a roofless car that also features sporty proportions. However, there’s something about this specific concept that doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Here’s a look at Audi’s Grand Sphere Concept, which will usher in the next-gen of the flagship luxury sedan from Ingolstadt. What started as a design exercise three years ago is now ready to be showcased as a concept to take on the likes of other luxury EV’s like the Mercedes Benz EQS, the yet to be announced BMW i7, and the electric Jag XJ.

Audi is arguably the most active automaker that’s electrifying its lineup. Barely a few days after debuting the Q4 e-tron SUV and Sportback, the German automaker has now given us a preview of the A6 e-tron, the electric version of the luxury namesake sedan. Teased at the 2021 Auto Shanghai, the A6 e-tron concept showcases what to expect from the production version of the EV and also goes on to show that Audi is not getting rid of sedans anytime soon.

There’s something innate at Volkswagen Group about allowing trainees to develop their own ideas in terms of what a car should look like.

Just look at what Volkswagen has been doing in the past years at Wörthersee, where a wacky Golf is unveiled with clockwork precision every year, and it’s entirely imagined and designed by the brand’s apprentices. And Audi just copied the recipe.

Audi is arguably the most active brand today when it comes to EVs. The company had announced a bold claim that it will launch 20 new EVs by 2025, and surprisingly, it seems to be on track.

The German automaker has added yet another vehicle to its EV portfolio, the Q4 Sportback e-tron, which happens to be its seventh fully electric vehicle. The company revealed the concept version for now and the real deal is expected to go on sale sometime in 2021.

Audi has made a tradition of dropping stunning concepts whenever an auto show opened its doors. It did it earlier this year in Geneva with the Q4 e-tron and e-tron GT concepts, so we’ve been expecting a similar move for the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. Well, it happened once again, this time with less “e-tron” and more “quattro”: meet the Audi AI:TRAIL Quattro concept in all its off-road might.

The 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show will be graced by this new electric off-road concept from Audi called the AI:Trail Quattro. The German automaker has not revealed a lot of details about it yet, but it does not look like merely an autonomous luxurious pod. It is an electric off-roader and even looks the part. The AI:Trail Quattro happens to be the fourth model in the series of design studies, and Audi will be debuting it on September 10, 2019. So, naturally, we are excited to see what it brings to the table.

Audi revealed the AI:me concept at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, and it clearly gives a preview of what our future will look like. Audi has been on an electric vehicle onslaught, and this concept shows one of the many facets that the company is capable of. Audi’s creation prior to the AI:me, the Q4 e-tron EV, looks like it could be ’production-ized’ soon. But with the AI:me, Audi aims to show what an urban, electric autonomous car could look like in a couple of decades from now.

Audi’s 2019 Shanghai auto show stand will feature the brand’s idea of an all-electric city car, the AI:ME, a futuristic concept that in the automaker’s own words, “demonstrates how emotion and spatial economy can form a perfect synthesis in an electrically driven compact car.” We have no idea what that exactly means, but we suspect it’s referring to the fact that this study is envisioned to be as space effective as possible for its footprint while offering all the amenities you’ve come to expect from an Audi.

Audi has released sketches of its new concept car called the AI:me that will be unveiled at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show. The AI:me is Audi’s vision of a fully autonomous city car. The basic outline reminds you of the Audi A2, but with not so contemporary and conventional looks. Unlike the automaker’s last concept, the Q4 e-tron EV, this one looks like a far-fetched thought. Will it hit the production line anytime soon?

Audi has kicked off its 2019 Geneva Motor Show journey by launching its all-new compact electric SUV, the Q4 e-tron. The crossover will slot below the full-sized E-tron, and will be the fifth electric vehicle in the German automaker’s stable. It is expected to start production by the end of 2020. The Audi Q4 e-tron will take on the upcoming Tesla Model Y.
