Hoonigan are back with another crazy drag race on their YouTube channel. This time, it’s two completely different cars from two completely different eras. It’s old school versus new school and American versus European, as a mildly modified Audi RS6 Avant take on a purpose-built, 1967 Pikes Peak Chevrolet Camaro.

For the folks who like their SUVs with coupè-like sloping rooflines, here’s Audi’s latest product – the Q5 Sportback. Audi calls them Crossover Utility Vehicles, and the Q5 Sportback is the third product in this lineup, following the Q3 Sportback and the e-tron Sportback. The Q5 Sportback is Audi’s take on the BMW X4 and the Mercedes GLC Coupe. The Q5 Sportback commands a premium of $4,500 over the SUV style for mainly an exterior appearance package, sleeker looks, and some other minor aesthetic upgrades. Is it worth it? Well, you tell us.

It took a while but Audi finally unveiled its all-electric sports car and it’s actually derived into two variants. You’ve got the more civilian Audi e-tron GT and the higher-performance RS e-tron GT, both looking like they came out of the concept car shop.

Call it what you will but to our eyes, the Audi Q8 is a neatly executed example of what a “SUV-coupe” must look like. That or our brain has been bombarded with some many iterations of this car body style that we’ve learned to live with it.

In any case, Audi is not about superficiality and that’s why the Q8 can now be ordered with a new powertrain. A plug-in hybrid one, to be more precise, featuring a larger battery pack and two system outputs.

Audi is giving the Q5 the Sportback treatment but we won’t see it on the streets earlier than mid-2021. The Q5 Sportback carries on the SUV coupe theme we’ve seen from so many carmakers, so here’s all you need to know about it.

Audi is going all in for the 2021 model year in the United States, and that’s good news for you if you’re planning to buy a new car with the four rings anytime soon. In an effort to increase the value for most of its models, Audi has started including more standard equipment, new optional equipment, and there are evens some very important mechanical updates.

Audi has just introduced the next-gen, 2021 A3 Sedan, and with it comes a new, sporty exterior appearance with a revised grille, new exterior lights, and more aggressive body lines. The interior is now more driver-focused than ever and now features a more angular appearance than ever before. There’s an updated 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system and a revised 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster (Audi digital cockpit) that has three different views to choose from. The interior now features a little extra headroom up front thanks to the lower seat position and Car-to-X services are available in areas adequately equipped. The new A3 is offered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline or diesel engine. Both engines provide 150 horsepower, but the diesel delivers 265.5 pound-feet while the gasoline puts down just 184.4 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy ranges between 47 and 50 mpg on the gasoline model and 60-65 mpg for the diesel, based on the current European scale, so don’t expect that much in the States. Pricing starts that EUR 27,700 or $30,006 at current exchange rates.

The 2020 Audi Q7 is the facelifted version of the second-generation midsize SUV. It’s an update to the hauler that Audi launched in 2015, and although it’s not a major overhaul on the outside, it features a heavily updated interior and new engines. It also comes with new driving assist features, mostly seen on recent redesigns, and more luxury options. As usual, it’s available with both gasoline and diesel powertrains, but the oil burners aren’t offered in the United States. Let’s find out more about the premium German SUV in the review.

When Audi launched the RS5 Sportback in late 2018, there was a lot of uproar about the old-style grille that made the face of the new car look outdated at best. For 2021, Audi is launching the Audi RS5 Coupe, and with it came a mild facelift for the recently launched Sportback. The good news is that Audi finally addressed the grille situation and has redesigned the nose. Now, the RS5 features the more modern, flatter and wider grille that makes the car look sportier and more aggressive at the same time. As a result, Audi was also able to add tiny vents between the grille and the hood to pay tribute to 1984 Audi Sport Quattro. The wheel arches are also 1.6-inches wider, while the LED lights in the headlights and the matrix in the taillights have been revised as well.

There’s not a lot to mention about the interior, but Audi has upgraded the MMI infotainment system, and it now includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. It’s also angled just a degree or two toward the driver to help improve visibility and reach. As is the usual case with RS models, the interior is wrapped in mass amounts of leather and Alcantara, but you can opt for Nappa leather if you wish. Red or gray accents for the interior are also available.

The exterior and interior refinements, regardless of how necessary, are where the changes stop. The 2.9-liter V-6 under the hood carries over to 2021 unchanged. It delivers roughly 444 horsepower and a cool 442.5 pound-feet of torque, the latter of which comes into play at just 1,900 rpm. The RS5 Sportback and Coupe can make the run to 62.1 mph in 3.9 seconds and will top out at 174 mph if you keep the hammer down. A manual transmission isn’t on the docket, though, so you’ll have to make do with Audi’s fairly decent eight-speed Tiptronic auto. The RS5 in either form comes standard with AWD, though, so it does have that going for it. Opt for the rear sport differential, and you’ll even get active torque distribution between the rear wheels.

The 2021 Audi RS5 goes on sale in Europe in early 2020 and will start out at EUR 83,500. Pricing and availability for other markets, including the United States, have yet to be announced.

The 2020 Audi RS7 is the second generation of the company’s range-topping four-door coupe. Based on the latest A7, the 2020 RS7 features a far more aggressive exterior design, a completely new interior packed with premium features, state-of-the-art technology, and a powerful drivetrain. The latter combines a revised version of Audi’s 4.0-liter V-8 and a 48-volt system that improves fuel efficiency. The 2020 Audi RS7 arrives just in time to take on the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe and the upcoming BMW M8 Gran Coupe.

The 2020 Audi RS7 will join the standard A7 and the mid-range S7 in the U.S., where it will cost in excess of $100,000. Estimates put it at around $120,000, which will make it slightly more affordable that the competition. The 2020 RS7 is one of the many new Audis to feature mild hybrid drivetrains as the German firm is moving more and more toward electrification.

The new Audi RS Q3 has made its debut with a revised version of that peppy and acoustic 2.5-liter, turbocharged, inline, five-cylinder engine. This time around, however, it is tuned to deliver 400 horsepower (295 kW) and 354 pound-feet (480 nm) of torque, all of which is channeled to all four wheels through Audi’s awesome Quattro AWD system. That accounts for an increase of 94 horsepower over the 2013-2014 RS Q3, 65 horsepower over the 2015-2016 RS Q3, and 38 horsepower over the most powerful version from the last-gen model, the RS Q3 Performance. The new RS Q3 is certainly an amazing compact performance crossover with unique styling touches, impressive horsepower, and notable luxury. But, it’s not the RS Q3 that is all that important in today’s headlines.

The RS Q3? Eh, it’s just another performance crossover. What about the RS Q3 Sportback? That’s right, folks. Audi has managed to apply the Sportback name to the range-topping RS Q3 and, believe it or not, it is somehow more attractive than the Q3 Sportback. It features its only unique styling compared to the RS Q3 and the sloping roof – paired with the more aggressive RS design cues – actually makes it look oddly like the Lamborghini Urus from certain angles. It’s hard to believe, sure, but there sure is a resemblance. Here’s a quick rundown of what the new Audi RS Q3 Sportback brings to the lineup.

The Audi A1 citycarver — yep, no caps here — is living proof that automakers will go to any lengths to attach the words “crossover” or “SUV” to their models. The result is the creation of sub, sub-lines born out of sub-lines born out of main model lines. It’s confusing on a lot of levels, but that’s the nature of the beast in the auto biz these days. On the surface, the A1 citycarver looks like a more rugged version of the A1. While there is some truth to that, appearances can be deceiving, too. The A1 citycarver is slightly higher than the A1 and it also comes with suspension tweaks aimed to make it more appealing to rugged urbanites who are looking for more adventures with their A1s. Most of the bits though come directly from the A1, so it is classified as a different version of Audi’s hatchback, the A1 citycarver is just an A1 wrapped in tighter clothing. The Audi A1 citycarver goes on sale this month in Europe at a yet-to-be-determined price tag. There’s no word yet whether it makes the trek to America or not.

The Audi S7 is a high-performance answer to the Mercedes CLS and the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. It’s been on the market since 2012 (as a 2013 model), and 2019 marked its shift into the second generation. And, this shift couldn’t have come at a better time because that old-school grille and boring front end just wasn’t working anymore. But, Audi delivered everything we wanted on a silver platter, with the S7 taking on Audi’s latest design language – including the wider, shorter grille and a rather aggressive front fascia. To make matters even better, Audi was smart enough to keep the designed toned down enough that the new S7 doesn’t get thrown into the same “we’re-trying-too-hard” category with cars like the Honda Civic Type R, for instance. Now, we’re still not sure about Audi dropping that 4.0-liter V-8 engine to replace it with a 2.9-liter V-6 in the U.S. or a 3.0-liter V-6 diesel for Europe, but we haven’t driven the new S7 yet, so we can’t really speak too deeply on the matter. That point aside, we really like the way the 2020 S7 looks, so we’ve decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. After six years of rumors that began when Audi trademarked the Q8 name in 2012, the German company finally unveiled its proposition against the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. It’s called the Audi Q8, and it’s heavily based on a concept car that the Germans introduced in 2018. It’s modern, aggressive, it packs Audi’s latest technology, and promises to give the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, and the Porsche Cayenne Coupe a good run for their money.

When BMW introduced the X6 in 2009, a new segment was born. But although the crossover BMW describes as a Sports Activity Coupe proved somewhat popular with SUV enthusiasts, the trend didn’t catch on with other automakers until 2013. That’s when Mercedes-Benz revealed plans to develop a coupe-like crossover based on the M-Class. Shortly after, rumors of a Cayenne Coupe emerged, signaling that Germany’s finest automakers finally pay more attention to this niche. Come 2018 and Audi joined the battle with the prettiest SUV it has created in recent years.

It’s been two years since the new-generation Audi A8 went into production and the German firm finally unveiled a higher performance S8 model. A replacement for the old S8 that was introduced in 2015, the 2020 S8 combines the most recent A8 design, sportier than before, with the new technology in the same sedan, and a new drivetrain that brings together a V-8 gas engine and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

People’s opinions of how good Audi cars look are remarkably varied - some think nothing on four wheels looks cooler, while others don’t appreciate their extra chiseled features and massive grilles. The current Audi Q7 SUV was one of the least polarizing models they sold, striking a great balance between being flashy and subdued. Now, however, it’s gone under the knife for the customary facelift and what has resulted from this nip and tuck doesn’t look as good as what went into the operating room in the first place.

The Audi A6 Allroad Quattro is the perfect example of a sleeper success. The wagon has never been promoted as fiercely as its siblings, yet, it has been slowly and consistently ticking the sales clock for 20 years now. Yes, two decades! The Audi A6 Allroad Quattro made its debut in 1999 and was essentially the offroad version of the company’s station wagon. 20 years later, the fourth generation of the A6 Allroad Quattro is being launched, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

Audi isn’t giving up on performance diesel engines just yet, at least not for Europe. Audi just revealed the all-new 2020 S6 (available as either a sedan or wagon) and S7, and they come with different power plants depending on where they’re sold. For Europe, Audi has elected to offer the S6 and S7 a V-6 TDI engine, while in North America, Asia, and other markets, these models will be sold exclusively with a gasoline-powered V-6 TFSI.

The first-gen Audi A1 was launched in 2010. Since then, the car has earned a reputation for getting better with tiny tweaks and additions added every now and then. Eight years later, the Audi A1 is back with an all-new iteration. It has improved in every aspect over the 2010 A1. The next-gen Audi A1 was revealed at the Paris Motor Show.
