Some years ago Cadillac tied a Christmas tree to the roof of a CTS-V Wagon to perform a holiday burnout. Six years later, Hennessey Performance tied a tree to a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk to give us the world’s fastest Christmas tree. Sort of.

The Renegade has been the smallest and the cheapest Jeep SUV you can buy right now! For the 2022 model year, Jeep decided to keep the small SUV as it is in terms of the overall design but has ditched the 2.4-liter engine as well as a lot of the trim levels. The Renegade was introduced back in 2015 and is still in its first generation, so should you buy it now or consider other options like the Kia Seltos,, Hyundai Kona, or the Mazda CX-30?

In September 2021, Jeep debuted the 2022 Grand Cherokee, which happens to be the fifth-gen of the long-running SUV. It marks the introduction of a whole lot of things. The 2022 Grand Cherokee rides on a new platform, comes with exterior and interior upgrades, and features a lot of new off-road tech as well. However, there was something else that stole all the limelight – the 4xe model. Jeep launched the mid-size SUV with a hybrid engine, too, which will be sold as the Grand Cherokee 4xe. This makes it the second 4xe model in the company’s lineup after the Wrangler 4xe.

It seems that the folks at Jeep (Stellantis) can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to recalls. Just a month ago, the company announced a recall for the Grand Cherokee L due to an issue with its high beams, affecting a little over 7,000 units. This time around, the scale of the recall is much larger, and it involves nearly 100,000 vehicles.

This time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has the uneasy task of defending its turf against the BMW X5 M Competition and Range Rover Sport SVR. All three SUVs are the top versions of their regular counterparts, but who is going to come out on top?

The Wheels YouTube Channel regularly put out videos on some really interesting cars going head to head at the drag strip. They were back at the Bandimere Speedway, in Morrison Colorado, and on this occasion, they had a Toyota Supra take on a tuned Jeep Grand Cherokee and a BMW M3.

Jeep launched the fifth-gen of one of its most successful models, the Grand Cherokee, last month. The SUV will ride on a new platform that so far underpins just one other vehicle – the recently launched three-row version of the same SUV, the Grand Cherokee L. Apart from this, the 2022 Grand Cherokee also comes with updated exterior, new tech features inside the cabin, new drive systems, and the most important of all, a new hybrid engine that marks the seconds 4xe model in Jeep’s lineup after the Wrangler. The 2022 Grand Cherokee will arrive later this year and the prices for the same will be revealed then.

At the onset, it seems like the Grand Cherokee L is nothing but a Grand Cherokee with an extra row of seats. Essentially, that’s pretty much true, but, it is much more than just that. The Grand Cherokee L rides on a new platform, comes with a whole lot of new tech features, and is arguably the most off-road capable SUV in the segment. The standard Jeep Grand Cherokee is a big hit, selling over 200,000 examples every year. So, instead of coming up with a completely new model altogether, Jeep decided to build on the Grand Cherokee’s reputation by offering a product with the same ethos, but a lot of distinct differentiation.

Jeep is all set to debut an all-new seven-seater SUV, the 2022 Jeep Commander, for the Brazilian market. From a clip leaked online, on first appearances, the SUV looks like a longer Compass. It also appears that Jeep’s newest SUV shares a lot of oily bits, with the Compass.

Stellantis showcased future developments for several brands under its corporate belt during its very first EV Day event. A six-minute film was shown by its Jeep brand to demonstrate the automaker’s goals. The company that specializes in off-road vehicles puts a great degree of emphasis on the brand’s 4xe goals, part of which includes the installation of Solar charging stations on trails across the country.

Launched under a new-generation design, the new Grand Cherokee features an all-new architecture, the option of three different 4WD systems, an entire suite of safety and security features, and — in the case of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L – three rows of seating. Now, Jeep has released pricing for the biggest of the bunch, the Grand Cherokee L, and it starts from $36,995, not a bad price for a full-size SUV. If you want 4WD, you’ll have to add $2,000 onto the MSRP for a total of $38,995, but these are just entry level prices. Start moving up the trim line, and you’ll see prices start to increase substantially, with the L Laredo Altitude – one step above the entry level Laredo – starting at $40,195 or $42,195 with 4WD. Prices continue to increase incrementally up to the range-topping Cherokee L Summit Reserve that commands a whopping $61,995 with RWD and a V-6 or $65,290 for the V-8 model with 4WD.

Okay, so I’m quite conflicted about this idea. An off-roading minivan sounds pretty cool, but I don’t want to see it happen. It’s like machines and AI taking over the world; I want to know how it would be in reality, but I don’t want it to happen. Anyway, I digress.

Some renderings of a pretty cool off-road Jeep minivan surfaced on the internet sometime back and it became the talking point for a lot of folks. It looked so ridiculous that one could see the automaker get behind this idea. Jeep, however, dismissed the idea of coming up with a minivan anytime in the future, no matter how off-road-centric it could be. Ugh, that’s disappointing. Or wait, am I happy about it? I don’t know!

Jeep Gladiator needs no introduction. It was one of the most anticipated products and it didn’t let anyone down. What makes it even more special is that being an FCA product, or should I say Stellantis product, there is no dearth of customization options. Jeep has refreshed the Euro-spec Compass but it gives us a good preview of what to expect from the U.S.-spec model that will arrive later this year. The 2022 Jeep Compass comes with exterior and interior cosmetic upgrades, and some tech features inside the cabin. This compass also comes with a new plug-in hybrid powertrain called the 4xe. Trivia: This is the first Jeep launch in Europe after incorporating it into the Stellantis umbrella.

After being in production for three decades, Jeep sent the Wagoneer nameplate into exile. There were hushed talks about its revival in the better half of the last decade. Finally, in 2020, the company unveiled a concept SUV with this revived moniker, albeit with the ‘Grand’ prefix. Six months later, the company revealed that the yesteryear badge will be stamped on two SUVs – one called the Wagoneer and the other, the Grand Wagoneer.

The Wagoneer is the mellowed-down, less-luxurious version of the Grand Wagoneer. It comes with a different engine, fewer tech features, but retains the same brobdingnagian size and dimensions. Does it have enough firepower to beat its American rivals?

The Jeep Gladiator was one of the most anticipated vehicles for a very long time. Jeep had revealed the Gladiator concept back in 2005 but took almost 14 years to roll out the production model. But, we finally had a Jeep-branded truck after three long decades. The truck was launched with much pomp and show and it caught a lot of attention. The truck comes in a wide number of trims with uncountable packages and accessories to complement it. The automaker keeps the Gladiator fresh by launching special editions, too.

However, Jeep hasn’t been able to sell the Gladiator in big numbers. One reason could be the high pricing, and the other was offering it with just a single engine option – the old but reliable V-6 Pentastar. Jeep probably figured this out soon and launched an EcoDiesel engine as an option. A Gladiator dressed in the Overland trim with the new diesel mill under the hood arrived at TopSpeed, and here are our impressions of it.

Jeep launched the concept version of the Grand Wagoneer back in September 2020 and it gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the production-spec SUV. The automaker revived the Wagoneer moniker from the dead only for it to be branched out into two different SUVs – the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer. The Wagoneer will come with a smaller engine and fewer goodies compared to the Grand Wagoneer.

The Grand Wagoneer is the epitome of luxury, to say the least. Aside from its massive presence, the SUV comes with a plush interior, 75 inches of a total screen display in the cabin, and a price tag of $111,000 for the top-end model!

Car manufacturers continue to spawn great remakes of iconic classic models. For some time now, we’ve known about the upcoming Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Now, it’s finally here. The Jeep Wagoneer is considered to be the first luxury SUV. It was first introduced in 1963 and was produced all the way to 1991, making it one of the vehicles with the longest production run. It also started what is one of the most popular segments, at least in North America.

You know how Jeep hides all sorts of easter eggs into its brand-new cars? Well, today we’re going to talk a little about this. Probably. Not. Long story short, the Jeep Cherokee XJ was sold for a whopping 13 years with a spelling error hidden in plain sight. Let me explain.

Instead of introducing a brand new model in the rather popular three-row SUV market, Jeep played it smart and decided to offer the Grand Cherokee SUV itself with an extra set of seats. Called the Grand Cherokee L, Jeep decided to capitalize on this 27-year old popular moniker instead of building a new vehicle from the ground up that may or may not have been successful.

Jeep has sold over 200,000 examples of the Grand Cherokee annually in the last four years, so there’s no reason why the three-row Grand Cherokee L won’t be a hit. But, is it just about extra seats, or does the Grand Cherokee L bring something new to the table?

Jeep Compass has been in the market for over a decade now and has become a staple moniker in the segment now. This two-row SUV is one of the rare models in this segment that can actually be taken off the roads without doubting its abilities. Of course, it’s no Cherokee, but it does a lot better than its rivals in this aspect. Although it features a heavy 2.4-liter engine, the power outputs aren’t that great and the nine-speed automatic gearbox makes the whole drive even more lethargic. However, it comes with a nice interior setup, decent tech features, and aesthetics that will please all and offend none. So, should you pick the Jeep Compass over the Honda CR-V or the Ford Escape?

The SUV is showing its age in the current iteration, but that doesn’t mean the demand is going low. So, instead, Jeep decided to tap into another niche with the same formula. Called the Grand Cherokee L, this SUV rides on an extended platform and has a third row of seats.
