Until a few years back, there was an unsaid notion that hatches and sedans would be electrified first (the urban commuters) and off-roaders would evolve at the end. But, that is definitely not the scene right now. Back in September 2020, Jeep introduced the Wrangler 4xe, a plug-in hybrid version of the standard Wrangler. Now the automaker has confirmed the concept electric version of the Wrangler on its “Road Ahead” site and it will be presented at the Easter Jeep Safari that’s scheduled to start on March 28, 2021.

The SEMA Show is turning out to be quite exciting. Jeep is taking part, obviously, and has come with a concept targeted at hard-core mountain bike enthusiasts. The automaker, along with Mopar, has transformed the 2020 Gladiator pickup truck into a fun concept vehicle for serious mountain bikers. But, what’s catchier about this concept is the number of storage spaces in the customized truck bed. Oh, and also, there’s a built-in hot dog machine. How about that!

The 2020 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a production-ready concept vehicle that previews the arrival of the modern Jeep Wagoneer. Set to arrive in 2021, the SUV will revive the Wagoneer name after 30 years. Described as a "premium extension" of the Jeep brand, the SUV will become available in two versions, the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer, with the latter to offer more space and more luxury.

The Grand Wagoneer concept looks ready to go into production, but Jeep will probably drop a few fancy features before it puts the SUV on the assembly line. Let’s have a closer look at the three-row hauler in the review below.

After years of rumors and speculation, Jeep finally revived the iconic Wagoneer though the Grand Wagoneer concept. The production model won’t arrive until 2021, but this so-called concept vehicle doesn’t seem very different from what we will get in showrooms. However, it showcases a range of cool and fancy features that most likely won’t make in on the production model, despite its luxury-oriented status. Here’s a list of items you should expect to find on the upcoming, factory-built Wagoneer.

We’re less than 10 hours away from the much-anticipated 2021 Ford Bronco’s unveiling, and its primary rival, the Jeep Wrangler, has decided to gatecrash the party. The company teased a 6.4-liter, V-8 HEMI engine just a couple of days ago in a Facebook post and now it has confirmed its arrival in the form of the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept.

Ford has been messing around with the Jeep ever since the Bronco was announced, so the news of the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept couldn’t have come at a better time. Kudos to Jeep for sneaking under the limelight and stealing it from the Bronco just hours before the grand reveal. Point: Jeep.

Yet another

based concept to mark its presence at the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari, the Jeep JT Scrambler concept is quite similar to the J6 - a throwback to the Jeep’s history. But this time, it’s not just about the colors, but also the graphics. The graphics and color combination strongly resonates with the CJ8 Scrambler from the ’80s. Just like all the other concepts present at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari, this one too is a showpiece to exhibit the Mopar performance parts. Actually, not just the performance parts, but also the bright, orange stickers around the body which are the highlight of this truck.

The Jeep Gladiator Gravity Concept is perhaps the smartest looking truck of the lot that was presented at the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari. We are not sure if it was the design team that worked on this concept or the marketing team, but knowing that Jeep uses this event to create, innovate, and display new Mopar products, we have to say that this truck will bring in maximum revenue for Jeep. The Gravity concept is basically a table, shaped like a truck, that showcases a plethora of Mopar performance products. This Jeep shows how you can elevate the abilities and capabilities of your Jeep by installing the products from Jeep’s performance brand. On the onset, the car looks absolutely fantastic in the orange shade while maintaining its rugged looks. Just like four other concept trucks, Jeep has based this one on the Gladiator, too. The automaker has made sure that the company’s new pickup truck receives maximum exposure from this event. But, we cannot fathom the fact that not a single concept is based on the Wrangler!

This Jeep is only concept of the lot from this year’s Easter Jeep Safari that is not a 2020 Gladiator dressed in pretty clothes. Moniker’d the ’Five-Quarter,’ this concept truck is actually a resto-mod of the 1968 Kaiser Jeep M-715, Gladiator-based, military vehicle. This concept will surely draw a lot of attention from the die-hard fans and enthusiasts who have followed Jeep with loyalty. Let me stress on this again - this is a resto-mod operation, not a replica. This is the real deal. So, of the 30,000-odd vehicles that were built, and God knows how many have survived to this day, Jeep and Mopar have actually stripped apart a 50-year old truck and garnished it with loads with new parts!

Fun fact - Jeep actually picked this model up off of Craigslist before putting it through the wringer. If this doesn’t grab your attention, I don’t know what will.

The Easter Jeep Safari, held at Moab, Utah, is a Mecca for Jeep lovers. Jeep uses these 10-odd days to showcase its concepts that not only bring out the creative side of the designers but also serves as a perfect platform to further market the lineup of highly sought-after Mopar products. One of the six concepts, the J6, is the product that serves this purpose completely. It is filled with Mopar products in and out and will undoubtedly intrigue the interest of the Safari attendees.

The J6 Concept is out there to en’lighten’ the event in all its glory. Didn’t get the reference? Well, that’s because Jeep has added a lot of LED lighting shenanigans to this truck. What makes it all the more interesting is that it has a two-door cab with a six-foot-long bed. A lot of enthusiasts have been vocal about having this same combination for quite some time now. Jeep understands this and will use this Safari as a pedestal to see if it makes a viable business case for itself.

Jeep has crowded the 53rd Easter Jeep Safari with six of its concepts. Knowing how competitive the market has gotten in this age, Jeep decided to make use of this much-anticipated event by basing five of its six concepts on the new Gladiator, you know, for maximum exposure. Jeep has also paid tribute to the 1968 M-715 for the sake of nostalgia. Jeep has invested all of its time and finances allotted for this Safari on the Gladiator-based concepts, and here is one that revolves around the theme of motocross lifestyle - Dirt bikes and bro codes. Moniker’d the Flatbill concept, this truck has been designed while keeping the desert lifestyle in mind.

It certainly looks like Jeep had a lot of fun building this concept. In fact, Jeep seems to have gone all ’bruh’ with the Flatbill concept. How often do you see an automaker relate so close to reality? It’s not just about the vernacular here; Jeep has managed to induce the ’bro-ness’ into the Jeep with styling and design philosophy. The bright color combination and the loud styling cues make this one of the funkiest concepts of the 2019 Safari lot. Oh, and did we forget to tell you that the term ’Flatbill’ is derived from the popular style of baseball hats that the Jeep folks like to wear. No, we are not making this up, bro.

It’s back! The 53rd Annual Easter Week celebration for Jeep enthusiasts is here, and we are chuffed to bits, just like every year. This year, Jeep will bring in not one, not two, but six different concepts. Five of these concepts are based on the newGladiator, while one is essentially a tribute to the 1968 M-715 military version of the old-school civilian Gladiator. Jeep has worked with Mopar to create these concepts, and each one is a work of art in its own way. However, what caught our attention is that not a single one has the Wrangler badge this time! Easter Jeep Safari without Wrangler is like Thanksgiving dinner without Turkey! Guess Jeep is too excited commemorating the Gladiator pickup instead. For the 2019 Safari, the most practical concept that could make it to production, and still dominate the market, is the Wayout concept. From Jeep’s point-of-view, this concept is a way to re-instill the spark in enthusiast’s mind that no matter which automaker comes up with fancy shenanigans, a Jeep will still be a Jeep. We are referring to the Ford Ranger, and it’s exhaustive list of camping gear. The Wayout is the ultimate overlanding vehicle that would make for the perfect #wanderlust pictures for your Instagram.

Almost a year after debuting at the Easter Jeep Moab Safari, the Jeep Wrangler Nacho Concept made its way east to the 2019 Chicago Auto Show where it once again flexed its muscle for all the world to see. Based on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the Wrangler Nacho Concept is what happens when a customer goes balls-to-the-wall with Jeep and Mopar’s encyclopedia-like parts catalogs. Everything from aesthetic upgrades to important equipment is represented in the Nacho Concept. The objective, at least according to Jeep, is to showcase a blueprint for off-roaders to follow, particularly those who are looking to create their own custom trail vehicle. The Jeep Wrangler Nacho Concept is unlikely to hit production, but that shouldn’t stop customers from recreating it on their own or go all-out in creating something that makes the Nacho Jeep look tame by comparison. Could there be a Jeep Wrangler Guacamole in our future?

After more than 30 years on the shelves, the almighty Jeep Gladiator returned to the auto scene at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Less than a few months later, we now have one of the first custom jobs for the Gladiator courtesy of a company known for making some of the best leather products for car interiors in the market. This, ladies and gentlemen, is Katzkin Leather’s interpretation of the Jeep Gladiator, and it’s an absolute doozy. Comprised mostly of upgrades to the truck’s interior, Katzkin Leather’s work on the Gladiator’s cabin is a visual showcase of the company’s new products. The upholstery package is one of the many options that Katzkin is offering through Mopar, complementing the menu of accessories and options that are already available for Jeep’s returning conqueror. Katzkin’s show of force on the Gladiator was on full display at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show.

It ain’t easy to break into the world of automotive design, but three talented high schoolers are well on their way to landing their dream jobs, as recognized by FCA in a recent contest to pen the 2030 model year Jeep Wrangler.

Introduced in 2014, the Jeep Renegade was received with some skepticism, mostly for being based on a Fiat platform and for being built outside the United States. But the company’s smallest SUV yet became a popular choice in its first three years on the market, with nearly 250,000 units sold in the U.S. and more than 470,000 examples delivered worldwide. The Renegade is close to receiving its mid-cycle update in 2018, but until that happens, Jeep gave the mini SUV a makeover for the Moab Easter Safari. It’s called the B-Ute and is equipped for the ultimate off-road adventure.

Fitted with a series of Jeep Performance Parts, the B-Ute would slot above the Trailhawk model in the lineup if it were to become a production model. It has more rugged features, bespoke interior parts, and enhanced off-roading capability thanks to a lift kit and larger wheels and tires. The name itself is a bit weird, as it combines the letter "B" with the term used for utility vehicles in Australian. Read together, and it would seem like Jeep wanted to call this SUV "beauty." And it’s certainly not! But hey, it was built to tackle rough terrain and not win beauty contests, so it doesn’t really matter.

Jeep is gearing up for a week of off-roading fun as the annual Moab Safari will soon get underway. As such, the brand is introducing no less than seven 4WD rough-stuff machines, including this yellow creation appropriately dubbed the Nacho Jeep. It’s a spicy combo of upgraded hardware that should perform quite well at the legendary dirt paradise, bringing extra ponies, greater off-road protection, a lifted stance, and beefy 37-inch tires.

Unveiled in 2017 and put in production in November, the latest-generation Jeep Wrangler is almost six months old. But, while customers were flooding Jeep showrooms to place an order for the JL, the previous-generation Wrangler remained in production until March 2018, for a life-cycle that amounts to almost 12 years, a record for the nameplate. With the JK now officially in the history books, the fourth-generation Wrangler is taking center stage at the 2018 Moab Easter Safari, where Jeep brought various concept vehicles based on the SUV. One of them is the J-Wagon, a premium-styled model that’s as capable on the unbeaten path as it is at home in the urban cityscapes.

Based on the Wrangler Sahara, the J-Wagon was personalized with Jeep Performance Parts and a couple of Mopar features. It’s a closed-roof four-door, which explains the "wagon" in the name, but it’s also equipped for proper off-roading thanks to larger wheels and tires and bespoke rock sliders. While many of the parts are still in concept phase, they will most likely become available to purchase later this year, so the J-Wagon is a good example of how you can customize your next Wrangler.
