This Jeep Gladiator 6x6 Looks Armageddon-Ready

This Jeep Gladiator 6x6 Looks Armageddon-Ready

It comes with an extended cargo bed, multiple engine options, and costs thrice as much as a standard Gladiator!

There are a lot of 6x6 trucks in the market today. You’ve got iterations of the F-150 Raptor, and Ram 1500 TRX that have been given an extra axle and a pair of wheels. However, Jeep Gladiator seems to be a popular option amongst aftermarket companies for this mod. We’ve seen builds from Apocalypse Manufacturing,So-Flo, and even the Rezvani Hercules, and now we have another entry to this Gladiator-based 6x6 truck by Next Level Offroad.

The California-based company has come up with a build of its own. It doesn’t look as monstrous as the others and is actually one of the cleanest builds we’ve seen.

2022 Jeep Wagoneer

2022 Jeep Wagoneer

Jeep’s latest SUV has three rows, oodles of off-road equipment, and a $60,000 price tag

After being in production for three decades, Jeep sent the Wagoneer nameplate into exile. There were hushed talks about its revival in the better half of the last decade. Finally, in 2020, the company unveiled a concept SUV with this revived moniker, albeit with the ‘Grand’ prefix. Six months later, the company revealed that the yesteryear badge will be stamped on two SUVs – one called the Wagoneer and the other, the Grand Wagoneer.

The Wagoneer is the mellowed-down, less-luxurious version of the Grand Wagoneer. It comes with a different engine, fewer tech features, but retains the same brobdingnagian size and dimensions. Does it have enough firepower to beat its American rivals?

2021 Jeep Gladiator Diesel - Driven

2021 Jeep Gladiator Diesel - Driven

The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel mill has the potential, but is it worth $4,000 over the Pentastar V-6?

The Jeep Gladiator was one of the most anticipated vehicles for a very long time. Jeep had revealed the Gladiator concept back in 2005 but took almost 14 years to roll out the production model. But, we finally had a Jeep-branded truck after three long decades. The truck was launched with much pomp and show and it caught a lot of attention. The truck comes in a wide number of trims with uncountable packages and accessories to complement it. The automaker keeps the Gladiator fresh by launching special editions, too.

However, Jeep hasn’t been able to sell the Gladiator in big numbers. One reason could be the high pricing, and the other was offering it with just a single engine option – the old but reliable V-6 Pentastar. Jeep probably figured this out soon and launched an EcoDiesel engine as an option. A Gladiator dressed in the Overland trim with the new diesel mill under the hood arrived at TopSpeed, and here are our impressions of it.

Jeep launched the concept version of the Grand Wagoneer back in September 2020 and it gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the production-spec SUV. The automaker revived the Wagoneer moniker from the dead only for it to be branched out into two different SUVs – the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer. The Wagoneer will come with a smaller engine and fewer goodies compared to the Grand Wagoneer.

The Grand Wagoneer is the epitome of luxury, to say the least. Aside from its massive presence, the SUV comes with a plush interior, 75 inches of a total screen display in the cabin, and a price tag of $111,000 for the top-end model!

2021 Apocalypse Hellfire 6x6

The Gladiator-based truck comes with 40-inch tires, a V-8 engine under the hood, and a starting price of $150,000!

There’s no way 6x6 trucks can sneak away without catching any attention. There are quite a few aftermarket 6x6 creations like the VelociRaptor and the Mammoth by Hennessey, Gladiator by So-Flo, and some 6x6s that are built from the scratch, like the Rezvani Hercules. While Rezvani may have taken a different approach, a company called Apocalypse Manufacturing has developed a 6x6 based on the Jeep Gladiator called the Hellfire. Apart from the six-wheel-drive layout, it comes with massive tires, an active suspension system, and a cabin filled with modern tech features. The asking price for this beast runs into six digits.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys

2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys

Jeep introduces the Willys moniker on the Gladiator now, and as expected, it is off-road-oriented

While special editions are a nice thing to have, an overdose of them isn’t taken too well. Not long ago, Jeep introduced anniversary editions on many of its vehicles, and now, it has come up with another one for the Gladiator. This one is called the Gladiator Willys. Willys models in Jeeps have a different fan-base altogether, so we’ll let Jeep off the hook for this one. The pickup truck comes with a lot of off-road equipment in this edition, and it will be an exciting one for the folks who found the standard Gladiator a little too plain-Jane as per Jeep’s standards. Will this qualify to become a standard trim in the future?

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept Features Not One Or Two, But Seven Big Screens Inside The Cabin

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept Features Not One Or Two, But Seven Big Screens Inside The Cabin

Why just seven? There is space for many more screens!

Jeep has been synonymous with rugged, off-road brutes since the beginning. The company started adopting new technologies and feature-rich cabins, but no one looking for a tech-heavy SUV would have a Jeep on the top of their list. But, it seems like the company is hell-bent on getting out of this mold and let customers know that Jeep can build luxurious, tech-savvy vehicles too; case in point is the recently unveiled Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept.

The company released this luxurious SUV and it is loaded to the gills in terms of cabin features and creature comforts. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer didn’t just slap a big touchscreen on the center console to prove its point, but went ahead and equipped six more all around the cabin. However, keep in mind that this is a concept and not all the screens may be carried over.

Jeep Unveils The Grand Wagoneer Concept With Bold Exterior and a Technology-Rich Cabin

Although it’s a concept, expect the production version to be very similar

After a number of teasers and glimpses of the SUV, the Jeep Wagoneer is finally here. The company has unveiled the concept Jeep Wagoneer digitally. The SUV was in production for three decades, between 1961 to 1981, it was then sent to an exile only to be brought back again for a second run.

Test mules were spotted in 2019 and the automaker confirmed that the nameplate is being reincarnated for the same role it played in the last century. Yesteryear monikers generally receive a lot more attention than new names but also have a lot of hopes pinned on them.

Given how competitive the SUV segment has become in the recent past, can the Wagoneer stand out, or will it become just another name that didn’t bring in volumes for the automaker?

2020 Jeep Gladiator - Driven

2020 Jeep Gladiator - Driven

The Jeep Gladiator is a great off-road truck but with a slightly high price tag

The Gladiator was the most anticipated launch of 2020, right alongside the Chevrolet C8. Jeep had revealed the pickup truck concept back in 2005, but it took the company 15 years to bring out the production version. This was going to be Jeep’s first pickup truck in 30 years, so it was natural for enthusiasts to be hyped up for it. Jeep even introduced five different Gladiator concepts at the 2019 Eastern Jeep Safari and gave the Wranglers a miss; which is some sort of a record in Jeep’s history.

The company launched the Gladiator with four trims plus a limited Launch Edition trim, but it expanded the lineup with three more trims within a year. The Gladiator was a true-blue Jeep, but it isn’t bringing in volumes for the automaker, perhaps because of its slightly-higher pricing. But, a year post its launch with new trims in line and price discounts to lure the customers, can the Gladiator rake in sales numbers for Jeep?

Here’s How the $225,000 Hennessey Jeep Gladiator Maximus 1000 Makes the Desert Its Bitch

It’s riding on sand dunes like its tarmac!

The Maximus 1000 might arguably be the most popular product from Hennessey today. The truck is a beast in Jeep Gladiator’s clothes. It is plonked with the Hellcat 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 engine under the hood and given the Hennessey treatment. On paper, the Maximus 1000 checked all the boxes that you’d expect from a truck of this demeanor. But, we have yet to see it prove its mettle in tough terrains or tracks or anywhere in the real world for that matter. However, Hennessey decided to show the world the Maximus’ might and took it to the desert to play with it. Is it still impressive? Hell yeah!
