The Audi RS3 was recently updated and it is a fantastic proposition overall. Audi even gave it a little more torque this time around. But, it is still not in the leagues of EVs when it comes to straight-line races. The folks at Carwow pit the Audi RS3 against a Tesla Model 3 that was nothing more than a glorified squash. The Model 3 is in a league of its own, and in this race, it proved the same by obliterating the RS3.

Arash’s last production car was the AF10 - a hybrid supercar with a horsepower claim of 2,080 horsepower. But that was back in 2016 and nothing really happened with the supercar since then. Then, back in June 2021, Arash revealed the Imperium - an electric hypercar concept that was suppose to be a preview of the future.

And now, that future has arrived. Arash announced the AFX - an electric hypercar that will take on cars like the Lotus Evija, Rimac Nevera, and Pininfarina Battista.

By now, everyone out there knows that Toyota has big plans for the future: going all electric by 2035 is the company’s main focus. In fact, we’ve already seen 16 new concept cars that preview this future: SUVs, trucks, sports car, sedans, will all go electric. One concept that caught our attention though is a yellow one that is supposed to preview the long rumored MR2 successor.

Nowadays, a lot of car manufacturers talk about going carbon neutral, and Toyota is one of the companies at the forefront of this endeavor. Toyota made it clear, by now, that the company is not really interested in developing sports cars by itself. The GR Supra and GR86, both of which, co-developed with other manufacturers, are proof enough. With that being said, Akio Toyoda himself announced 15 new Toyota and Lexus models, and it seems not all is lost for car enthusiasts.

Toyota has ambitious goals for an all-electric future. The Japanese automaker plans to considerably expand its electric vehicle lineup over the coming years.

Akio Toyoda, the brand’s President & CEO himself was at hand to give us a glimpse into what Toyota has in store for their next decade, which is set to be dominated by EVs. In a mega unveil for the brand’s future EV strategy, he gives us a first look at 16 distinctive concept vehicles that the brand has been working on.

The Mercedes EQ line of EVs isn’t very old, but the automaker is adding products to the lineup at a superficial rate. At the 2021 IAA Mobility Show, the automaker revealed a total of five EQ products, namely – the AMG EQS performance sedan, the EQE family sedan, the EQB crossover, EQG Concept off-roader, and the Maybach EQS SUV.

As if these weren’t enough, our spy photographers have now spotted the EQE SUV testing in the wild. It will slot in between the EQB crossover and the EQS SUV.

The Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo is the more practical version of Porsche’s first, modern-day EV. More importantly, from 2022, both body styles get a GTS version. The Porsche Taycan GTS is already shaping up to be right in the middle of the Taycan lineup, in terms of price and performance, but it also brings a bit more excitement. Find out how, below.

The Tesla Cybertruck debuted almost two years back, but the deliveries have still not begun. We keep getting constant updates about the unorthodox truck, but it wasn’t spied or seen testing… until now. A long, detailed drone footage of the Cybertruck testing at the Tesla’s Fremont facility has come to the fore, courtesy of ‘Chile Al100’. The video shows the Cybertruck, which seems to be in its production form, and features many changes when compared to the prototype that was unveiled in 2019.

There is no dearth of electric cars in the market now. We aren’t just talking about the urban commuters, but also fast electric cars. There are many new automakers that start their electric car journey with fast cars or electric supercars. Companies like Estrema, Aspark, and even Tesla, for that matter, came up with fast electric sports cars or electric supercars. While some have faded into oblivion after showing us promising concepts, some have weathered the storm and are either into production or will enter production.

Here’s a list of the eight fastest electric cars in the world today that are in the production stage or about to enter production. Some of these fast cars are from mainstream automakers, some from established EVmakers, and some from new start-ups.

Although Porsche’s most definitive model is the 911, these days it’s the Taycan that often steals the show. Porsche’s first, modern-day EV gave the Tesla Model S a worthy competitor from an established brand and now, the Porsche Taycan is blessed by the GTS moniker. How does it stack up to the rest of the lineup and does GTS still stand for the sweet spot in Porsche’s lineup?

Ford launched the F-150 Lightning earlier this year. The electric truck checks almost all the boxes and can be considered as the first mainstream electric pickup truck for the masses. There are a lot of electric trucks launched in recent years, like the Tesla Cybertruck, the Rivian R1T, the Lordstown Endurance, the Bollinger B2, etc. But, none of them offer the all-round capability that the F-150 Lightning does.

The Ford truck comes with all the bells and whistles one can ask for, and then some more. For now, Ford has launched it in one body style and three basic trims plus an exclusive work truck model, but expect it to grow in the coming years. With all the subsidies and credits, the F-150 Lightning works out to be the cheapest full-size truck in the market today! (more on this in the ‘Pricing’ section). From the looks of it, the F-150 Lightning seems to be an all-rounder that offers good power outputs, decent range, and a lot of tech features. There were rumors of a quad-motor setup making the cut in the Cybertruck, and the EV czar, Elon Musk, has now confirmed the same. Replying to a tweet, Musk said that a four-motor variant will hit the production line first. What’s more, the truck will also have Tank Turn and Crab modes! Talk about taking the Rivian R1T and the GMC Hummer EV’s most-talked features.
