Blurring the lines between mountain bikes and motorcycles, the Kalk series of machines from the Swiss made “Cake” intends “to speed up the journey towards a zero-emission society while enhancing excitement and fun.” They are walking the path that will change the future of riding with the focus on off-road performance and innovation in terms of weight and simplicity of riding.

Their newest entry is the Kalk INK. It takes on the KALK OR with the same powerful drivetrain with slightly heavier and stable wheels and a simplified and sturdier suspension derived from motocross machines. This is a black rendition of the KALK OR as a casual offroader for a thrilling backcountry exploration.

The brainchild of a Swedish Stefan Ytterborn, “Cake” is a new player in the electric transportation business that intends “to speed up the journey towards a zero-emission society while enhancing excitement and fun.” Jumping into the category of light electric off-road motorbikes, the Kalk is the first one of a number of models to come and is walking the path that will change the future of riding. The focus here has been off-road performance and innovation in terms of weight and simplicity of riding on the Cake.

Adding another minimalistic enduro onto its lineup, the Kalk INK takes on the OR with the same powerful drivetrain with slightly heavier and stable wheels and a simplified and sturdier suspension derived from motocross machines. This is a black rendition of the KALK OR as a casual offroader for a thrilling backcountry exploration.

With knobby tires, spoked wheels, and higher suspension travels, this segment is ready to take on tough terrains across the world. The retro-modern design language is literally in fashion now, and most of the Scramblers in the 2020 line-up flaunt them. It is an intelligent fusion of an old-school cover over modern technology that is born to live both the city and the wildlife.

Here is a list of our six favorite Scramblers who does all of that for just under $ 10,000. Aiding it will be a torquey motor with high mounted exhaust pipes and knobby tires to take it on terrains otherwise not possible.

As part of its brand new “More Roads to Harley-Davidson” growth plan through 2022, HD made inroads with the LiveWire electric streetfighter. It is the first in a broad, no-clutch “twist and go” portfolio of products that will put the company right in the center of the electric race.

A run through their US website today gave us a glimpse of the Milwaukee brand’s flat-track-inspired electric motorbike concept sketched out. This street-tracker is said to be developed to bridge the gap between the “lightweight urban” bike concepts showcased at the 2019 EICMA and the premium, high-power, halo model-the LiveWire.

Unveiling the brand’s FTR1200 street tracker back in 2018, Indian begun the onslaught of looking elsewhere for their inspirations other than just making vintage charmers and majestic cruising machines. Writers have been poetic on the FTR’s performance capabilities and how beautifully different it looks with the aggressive stance, and just about everything else.

From an optional “rally” package, which came along with that 1200 FTR, Indian deemed fit to unveil a product on its own for 2020. This RALLY is a grownup FTR 1200 developed for both everyday ride comfort, as well as, to muck up some dirt. It does all of it while rolling with an authentic retro styling, modern performance, responsive handling, and upright ergonomics.

Remember watching Vin Diesel in the sci-fi Babylon A.D.? If you do, I pity the plight you had to sit through for it was a pile of steaming and smelly goo. But there was a motorcycle in it amongst other custom vehicles which ended up in a crash, and it was nothing but a 1999 Yamaha R1 made by Frenchman, Ludovic Lazareth.

Featured on these were off-road tires, wheels, and spokes and were given modified suspension systems and engine skid plates, a trademark indispensable in shielding the bike from rocks, stones, and the unforgiving desert terrain.

Rumors of a 1200cc Scrambler from the Hinckley chaps were floating the web for some time now. Triumph has finally confirmed this gossip when they released a teaser video of the “The all-new Scrambler 1200”. This is Triumph’s efforts to prove that they still can rule the popular scrambler category.

Suzuki has announced a new product for the young greats of the motorcycle world, and a 49cc four-stroke motor powers it. Called the 2019 Suzuki DR-Z50, this small motocross machines provides the easiest access into the life of two-wheelers by being a simple and resilient machine to go frolicking around with.

It will have a strict competition only specs: sans a headlamp cluster, indicators or license plates; for hence cannot be registered to be used on the public roads. This motorcycles specifically offer electric start engines, a significantly lighter chassis, high ground clearance, long travel suspension and slimmer ergonomics to be able to move around the dirt and jump hills without any hindrance.

The greats of the motorcycle world have always had in their stride since the very beginning of their life. You look at every legendary figure of the motorsports world, one thing they have in common is their passion for things on two wheels from a very young age, some even when they have just begun to walk and talk. And the easiest access into this life is on the small motocross machines like the Japanese Green Team’s KX100.

The KX100 is a natural progression from the smaller KX65 and KX85 and will continue to widen this segment and get in a much lighter bike with a more sophisticated engine, better suspension and braking units to go the full throttle way for the young stars interested in dirt riding and want to make a career out of it. An ideal learning curve en-route to the bigger KX250. In return, Kawasaki has relied on its aspiring young stars to provide input to help develop winning products.

The genie was out of the bottle for quite a while now. The Austrian manufacturer has constantly been developing new products to cater its adventurist customers with the latest developments being the 790 Adventure R and the smaller 390 Adventure. The web is now flooded with images of KTM testing their newest creation on roads, and a few grabbed our attention too.

Unveiled to the world along with the production-ready 790 Duke at the 2017 EICMA, the Austrian manufacturer gave us their first hint at the 790 Adventure R Enduro production-prototype motorcycle that is underpinned by the same mechanicals as the Duke.

KTM has since then been teasing us with glimpses of the lightweight enduro motorcycle undergoing testing around the world. After setting the stage on fire with their brand new V4 Superbike venture, the British manufacturer shifted their attention to a set of machines that could be deemed as the most critical project for the company’s future.

Working for almost a year, Norton has finally released official sketches of their 650cc in-line twins under a scrambler-esque silhouette. And they are going to call it the Atlas, a modern “Urban-Tracker” and a reminiscent of the brand’s 1963 Atlas 750cc scrambler. The bike is due to be revealed at the NEC bike show in the UK this November, with UK deliveries set for 2019.

Presenting the new 2018 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso SCS. It is basically the standard Veloce 800 but takes the excitement up a notch with a semi-auto clutch from Rekluse. The “SCS” stands for “Smart Clutch System” and is a proprietary technology that took MV 2 years to develop and is finally debuting on a production motorcycle.
