From the outrageous styling, to the thumping V-12 powerplant, to the breathtaking performance, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is anything but boring. But that’s not stopping one lucky owner from turning the volume knob up to 11 on their Raging Bull. Say hello to the SC18 Alston, which comes with race-spec aero and a track-ready attitude to set it apart from its more “standard” brethren. And although it’s designed for track use, the SC18 Alston is still road-legal, bringing the best of both worlds into wing-tastic harmony.

Mansory is famous for taking some of the world’s most exotic supercars and turning them into examples of excess car tuning. No supercar is spared from a Mansory tuning creation, including the already radical Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

The Mansory-tuned Aventador SVJ — it’s called the Cabrera — gets an exaggerated new look, an engine upgrade, and an abundance of aerodynamic upgrades. Only three units of the Mansory Cabrera will be built.

On January 19, Liberty Walk’s founder and CEO Wataru Kato turned 54. To mark the occasion, Liberty Walked dropped an audacious body kit for the Lamborghini Aventador of which it will churn out just 20 units.

The 2021 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is a track-only supercar produced by Lamborghini. Unveiled in 2020, it’s developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the company’s racing division, and designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. A bespoke design that looks nothing like Lamborghini’s other vehicles, the Essenza SCV12 is limited to only 40 units and comes with its own racing program. Like other bespoke customer track cars from the past, such as the Ferrari FXX K and the McLaren P1 GTR, all examples of the Essenza SCV12 remain with Lamborghini outside specific customer events. Labeled as a direct descendant to the Miura Jota and Diablo GTR, the Essenza SCV12 is powered by a V-12 rated at more than 818 horsepower, which makes it the most powerful Lambo V-12 supercar developed so far.

Lamborghini hasn’t been shy when it comes to rolling out special edition models. It’s a tried-and-tested formula that always works for the Italian automaker, largely because consumer demand for these SE models has always been high.

Take the 2021 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition, for example. It’s the latest in a long line of special edition Aventadors, except that this one is a celebratory SE that pays tribute to Lambo’s Ad Personam customization program. Yes, Lamborghini just rolled out a special edition Aventador SVJ to celebrate its own personalization division, though, to be fair, the Ad Personam program does have several new and exciting options on the table.

When you tout a car as “the most extreme” of something, there usually aren’t many ways to make improvements on such a model. But Lamborghini is Lamborghini for a reason. The Italian automaker, with the help of its Centro Stile design division and Ad Personam customization division, managed to turn a model that’s already exclusive to 63 units into something more exclusive. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster, and it is a showstopper. To be clear, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster isn’t a special edition within a special edition. It’s a visual interpretation of what any of the 63 Aventador SVJ Roadster models could look like with the proper exclusive touches from Centro Stile and Ad Personam. Since all 63 units of the Aventador SVJ Roadster are already accounted for, the showcase model that Lamborghini unveiled at Pebble Beach is nothing more than a 759-horsepower press release on four wheels. Still, it’s hard to take your eyes away from the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster. At the very least, it makes you wonder what other personalized options are out there for this exclusive piece of hardware.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is the most extreme iteration of the company’s range-topping supercar. The SVJ combines the complex aerodynamic systems first introduced on the Huracan Performante with the "Jota" badge, first used on the Miura and then revived for the Diablo. A Roadster version of the SVJ will follow in 2019.

Lambo has yet to confirm that a drop-top version of SVJ is underway, but has already sent a certification request to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for such a model. The SVJ Roadster is one of four cars certified by CARB for the 2019 model year. This also means that the drop-top is only a few months away and will likely to break cover in early 2019. You may still be smitten by the exceptionality of the Nurburgring king, but even this Mansory work will get your heart pumping. If nothing, because of the incredible amount of carbon fiber the tuner invested in its latest Lambo work.

If the Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Jota (SVJ) isn’t rare enough for you, you’ll be happy to know that a 63-unit Aventador SVJ 63 Special Edition is also available from Lamborghini. The rarer Aventador SVJ 63 carries that name as a nod to 1963, the year patriarch Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company. Lamborghini has yet to release the price for the Aventador SVJ 63, but expect it to be heavier on the pockets compared to the $517,770 price tag of the “standard” Aventador SVJ.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is the most powerful and aggressive version of the company’s flagship supercar. The car that bears the iconic Jota suffix, which was first used on the Miura, made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as the fastest production car on the Nurburgring as of 2018.

The first Lambo to carry a "Jota" badge since the Diablo, the Aventador SVJ is essentially a beefed-up version of the SV. But it’s not just faster and more powerful, it’s also more aerodynamic, as it benefits from the Aerodynamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system. First introduced on the Huracan Performante, ALA is a range of active aerodynamic features that turn the already potent supercar into a road-legal race car. Alongside the SVJ, Lambo launched a limited-edition SJV 63 model that pays homage to the company’s founding year of 1963.

The Lamborghini Aventador is crowned as Lambo’s most iconic model, and since its introduction in 2011, the family has grown considerably. After the base Aventador hit the road, it paved the way for models like the Aventador J, the LP 750-4 SuperVeloce, the Dreamliner Edition, and was even used as the basis for cars like the Veneno and Centenario. By the time late 2016 came around, the car that was responsible for the aforementioned models – and replaced the Murcielago in the lineup – was due for an update that brought about a revamping of the car’s aerodynamics and its chassis to go along with a mild update to power output as well. Now, in early September of 2017 – at least a month before the new 2018 Aventador S will be delivered to the first customers – Lambo has decided to present us with the Aventador S Roadster, a topless version of the new S that is destined to stand out next to its less-frisky counterpart by means of unlimited headroom packed into a head-turning package.

So that sounds good and all, but what does it really mean? Well, it means that the world’s only super sports roadster with a mid-rear V-12 is its own standalone model that’s highly customizable with five different interior configurations, and an unlimited choice of exterior colors via the Ad Persona program. It takes four-wheel drive to an all-new level alongside things like the active suspension system, four-wheel steering system, and Lambo’s classic LDS and LMS systems that were revised specifically for the Aventador S Roadster. So, even though the Aventador S Coupe is still fairly fresh in our minds, it’s time to take a good look at its topless counterpart. And, you better hurry if you want to be informed – this baby makes its first official debut to the masses at none other than the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The Lamborghini Aventador was unveiled in early 2011 and replaced the Murcielago as the company’s range-topping supercar. Its styling is inspired by the limited-edition Reventon and the Estoque concept car, while motivation is provided by Lamborghini’s second V-12 engine design in 50 years. Like its predecessor, the Aventador spawned Roadster and higher-performance SuperVeloce versions, with the latter gaining a drop-top variant of its own. The supercar was also used as a base for the Aventador J concept and the Veneno, a limited-edition model that stands out for its outlandish design and ludicrous price tag. In late 2016, Lambo unleashed a mid-cycle update for the Aventador, also adding an "S" badge to its name.

Spotted testing on public roads since early 2016, the Aventador S prototype didn’t have much to say about the changes Lambo had in store and it was believed that the update will be about minor nips and tucks. However, the Italian brand had completely different plans for the coupe, giving it a complete makeover in the aerodynamics and chassis department. It’s also significantly more powerful, moving very closer to the beefed-up SuperVeloce thanks to a 30-horsepower bump.

“This is the next generation Aventador as well as the expression of new technological and performance milestones in super sports car development,” said Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stefano Domenicali. “The Aventador S is visionary design, cutting-edge technology and driving dynamics in pure harmony, and elevates the concept of super sports cars to a new level.”

The Lambo Aventador S will reach its first customers in Spring 2017 as a 2018-model-year vehicle.

The Lamborghini Aventador has been around for five years and it’s a testament to the supercar’s reputation that it’s still a favorite from the aftermarket tuning scene to this day. We’ve seen a handful of tuners build programs for the Aventador this year and the latest is the recent start-up, 1016 Industries, a relative neophyte to the tuning scene. For this program, the tuner was able to cover a significant number of modifications, none more impressive than the engine upgrade package that came out with 780 horsepower.

To be clear, the complete program has yet to be announced as a visit to the tuner’s website only reveals a “coming soon” banner. But a significant amount of details on what’s in store have been revealed and collectively, the upgrades point to an impressive build altogether. Of equal importance is the carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit that 1016 Industries claims was crafted using the latest in 3D scanning, laser scanning, and virtual modelling. It’s hard to argue against those methods, especially when you see how big these components are. Just as impressive is the tuner’s ability to partner with the best aftermarket companies in the business. In this case, that would be ADV.1 wheels, which provided a set of stellar Gunmetals CS Series rims to round out the program.

There are times when trusting a newbie to the aftermarket tuning game can be a risky proposition. But 1016 Industries doesn’t appear to be of that mold, at least when you judge what it was able to build for the timeless Lamborghini Aventador.

Launched at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, five months after its initial unveiling at the company’s headquarters, the Aventador replaced the then-decade-old Murcielago as Lamborghini’s flagship supercar. Also named after a fighting bull, a Lamborghini tradition since the 1960s, the Aventador features a more angular design than its predecessor, borrowing heavily from the limited edition Reventon and the Estoque concept car. While the Murcielago used a V-12 engine based on a unit that debuted in 1963, the Aventador received a brand-new engine. The 690-horsepower, 6.5-liter V-12 is Lambo’s fourth in-house powerplant and the first all-new V-12 in nearly five decades.

Speaking of five decades, Lamborghini celebrates 50 years since the introduction of of its first supercar, the Miura, in 1966. And, since the Aventador is a direct descendant of the car that started the whole mid-engined supercar trend, Lamborghini designed a limited-edition model that pays homage to the Miura. It goes by the name Miura Homage and features an exterior paint scheme that matches that of its iconic predecessor. It will be built in limited numbers and, as it is the case with such Lamborghinis, it will cost a fortune.

The bespoke supercar made its debut at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K. and will be showcased at various events as part of Lamborghini’s celebrations for the Miura’s 50th anniversary by the end of the year.

A case can be made that a car like the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce doesn’t need any aftermarket upgrades. After all, it already packs a 6.5-liter V-12 engine that spits out 740 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. That’s good for a sprint to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph, and that’s all Lamborghini. But there are still some tuners out there who’d beg to differ. One of these tuners is Novitec Torado, who may know from its past works on the base Aventador and the Lamborghini Huracán. The tuner also happens to have a new program for the Aventador SV, one that adds modest amount of power to the supercar, helping it reach a new output of 786 horsepower and 544 pound-feet of torque. Excessive, you ask? Nah.

The German tuner is like-minded with its counterparts Mansory and Wheelsandmore in the belief that even the fastest and most powerful cars in the world deserve some aftermarket love, and that’s exactly what Novitec Torado did. The engine upgrade is just one part of the tuner’s kit for the Aventador SV. It also offers some cosmetic and aerodynamic upgrades, interior personalization, suspension improvements, and of course, a set of brand-spankin’ new wheels that it commissioned from Vossen.

Truth be told, even with the rather modest improvement in power, Novitec Torado’s program for the Aventador SV borders on the comprehensive because of all the work it put in on the other sections of the car. Not that we’re complaining because as valid as the argument is that the Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce is awesome enough by itself, there’s still plenty of room for improvements, especially when those improvements come at the hands of a tuner that knows what it’s doing.

Mansory is known in the tuning world for a lot of things, but what really sets it apart from the rest of its contemporaries is its ability to build one-off creations for specific people. Just last month, the German tuner unveiled the Rolls-Royce Wraith Palm Edition 999, a nine-off project built for an exclusive lot of people who could afford it. As a follow up to that bespoke wonder, Mansory has unveiled its latest work of art, the one-off Lamborghini Aventador J.S 1 Edition.

Based on the Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce, the Aventador J.S. 1 Edition is a customized project that Mansory built for billionaire art dealer James Stunt. Most people in the industry also know him as the husband of Petra Ecclestone, the daughter of F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. But that’s a story for another time. This is all about the Aventador J.S 1 Edition, which really makes all other Aventadors look pedestrian by comparison.

First, there’s all that carbon fiber on the body. Granted, a lot of tuners have used the material for their own programs. But rarely has the final product looked like this one. It’s blacked out and dressed to the hilt with pre-preg carbon fiber. More importantly, it also has an engine tune that takes the Superveloce’s 750-horsepower output and brings it up to a level worth its incredulous body.

Mansory has built a lot of these projects in the past, but this one ranks right up there as one of the best ones yet.

A car like the Lamborghini Aventador is awesome enough in its own right that it really doesn’t need an aftermarket program. Still, there are those who prefer to give it a tuning program just to see how much faster and more powerful the car can go. That’s perfectly understandable. But every so often, you chance upon a car that is the recipient of not one, but two aftermarket programs.

This Lamborghini Aventador is the perfect example of that. By and large, this is an Aventador, albeit a special edition one that was released in limited quantities by Oakley Design back in 2012. It was nicknamed the “Dragon Edition” and only 10 units were made, each coming with an aero kit made up of a fixed carbon fiber rear spoiler, redesigned front bumper, and rear air vents. It also had individually-numbered plaques and embroidered dragons on the doors, and most importantly, a massive performance bump that gave the Aventador’s 6.5-liter V-12 engine 760 horsepower 550 pound-feet of torque to play with.

But, this isn’t about Oakley Design’s program for the Aventador. This is about DMC Tuning’s aerodynamic kit, which brings out a whole new level of aggressiveness from the Aventador. As far as overblown programs are concerned, these two kits have done wonders for Lamborghini’s mighty supercar.

Lighter, more powerful, and far more exclusive, the Lamborghini Aventador SV represents the pinnacle of performance for the entire Aventador lineup. It was launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and only three months after that, all 600 units of the supercar were spoken for. That’s how popular the Aventador SV turned out to be, living up to the incredibly high expectations set by its predecessor, the Diablo SV.

With so much acclaim attached to it, German tuner Wheelsandmore has hitched its wagon on the Aventador SV with its first kit for the exclusive supercar. It’s called the “LaMaXXina” program, and as you can expect, it’s got all elements of a traditional Wheelsandmore program.

That’s not going to sit well with some owners of the Aventador SV, especially those who prefer to have their exotics receive significant exterior and interior modifications. But, for owners who prefer upgrades of a more technical kind (engine and wheels), the LaMaXXina tuning kit is right down their alley.

Give yourselves time to warm over this new tuning kit. There aren’t that many programs exclusively dedicated to the Aventador SV so if you’re looking to have your uber exclusive Lambos modified, the German tuner is only a call (or an email) away.

Lamborghini launched the SuperVeloce specification all the way back in the 1960s, first appearing on the Miura, the nameplate that basically introduced the world to the mid-engine supercar. Dropped when the Miura was discontinued, the SV name returned nearly 30 years later when Lambo showcased the 1995-1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show. Since then, every range-topping Lambo has gotten an SV version. There was a Murcielago SV, and the Aventador SuperVeloce was presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

But while the SV badge has graced four different supercars as of 2015, not all of then have been offered as roadsters. The Miura was built as a coupe only (except for a one-off roadster), while the only drop-top version of the Diablo was based on the less powerful VT. The Murcielago was the first SV to lose its roof, which makes the Aventador only the second drop-top Lambo to carry the high-performance badge.

The car just broke cover at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, which means it’s time to have a closer look at the most powerful Lamborghini ever to benefit from infinite headroom.

Since its U.S. debut in the 2012 model year, the Aventador has steadily seen the introduction of new and special models. For example, in 2013 came the introduction of the Aventador Roadster, and in 2014 came the release of the 50 Anniversario special edition. Now as we roll into the 2015 model year, Lamborghini has released yet another special Aventador: the Superveloce.

Like all Superveloce models prior to it, this special Aventador is nearly a race car, as Lambo focused on dropping its weight and retuning its V-12 powerplant to crank out a few extra horses. Additionally, the Aventador Superveloce receives revised aerodynamics to increase its downforce and efficiency significantly. The only glaring issue is its super-high price tag.
