This is what the Ram 1500 TRX could be if you go all out with the Mopar catalog and make a few custom parts too
by Alina Moore, onLike with any other year before, the 2021 SEMA Show will bring an impressive lineup of custom cars. Mopar for example will present a total of seven concept cars, one of them being the Ram 1500 TRX RexRunner. As its name suggests, the Ram 1500 TRX RexRunner concept is based on the production version Ram 1500 TRX but adds an impressive lineup of Mopar accessories and custom parts.

What makes the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX RexRunner Concept special?
The concept features a cool Ash Gray exterior finish combined with several Mopar Blue accents: the center stripe that runs over the hood and the roof, the TRX bedside graphics, the Ram logo on the grille, and the dual tow hooks up front. Mopar also installed a RamBar accessory bar featuring a pair of 14-inch TYRI rectangular LED lights that generate a total of 4,300 lumens of exceptional light for off-roading. There is also a fully integrated, bed-mounted spare-tire carrier that keeps a 37-inch spare tire/wheel at the ready.
Mopar also installed a new, front skid plate that helps increase the approach angle by 2.3 degrees up to 32.5 degrees.
The side sills are protected by the Mopar rock rails, while a Mopar bed steps offer easier access to the truck bed.
The TRX RexRunner concept rides on a new set of custom-designed 18-by-9-inch Black Rhino Chamber wheels wrapped in 37-inch Goodyear tires.
Under the hood, the concept retains the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 engine from the production version that delivers 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. However, the exhaust system received a pair of 5-inch black Mopar exhaust tips for a sportier appearance.
