The body kit has been announced on Facebook via a short post and a handful of renders. Aside from being a limited-run offer, the kit is also the final edition of the LB Aventador, according to Mr. Kato. It is also live on Liberty Walk’s website, together with pricing info.
Before we delve into financial matters, it is safe to say that this is by far the most radical body kit we have seen in recent years. As if that was not enough, the kit will be offered in four variants, which include a fully-carbon-fiber iteration.
That aside, the kit might also be described as a bit too much. I mean, I get the need to make it look like something the Batmobile would wear and I really appreciate the originality behind the decision to add a rear wing that is basically mounted on the rear fender flares.
However, when combined with the huge diffuser and the additional shark fin running from the said wing to the roof, well, this kind of complicates the whole design. And speaking of complications, how is the Aventador supposed to go over potholes with basically no ground clearance?
Anyway, our two cents and personal impressions aside, it is time to talk turkey. Depending on which variant of the kit you pick and its finish, the GT Evo will require anything between $94,000 and $187,000. So, yeah, clearly not cheap.
