What changes were made under the hood?
The current generation BMW M3 and M4 are offered with a twin-turbo, 3.0-liter inline-six engine. In base form it delivers a total of 473 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, while for the Competition versions the output has been increased to 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.
G-Power is offering an upgrade for the engine, that will take the final output to as much as 700 horsepower. There are three different levels of upgrade.
The first level only includes a GP-600 software and updates the output up to 600 horsepower. The next level combines the GP-600 software with a Deeptone exhaust system and brings the output up to a total of 650 horsepower. The third level offers the same updates as the second one, but also adds sports downpipes. In this case the final output goes up to an impressive 700 horsepower. G-Power is also working on a fourth level that will bring the final output up to a total of 750-800 horsepower, but it will be available at a later date.
With the 700 horsepower under the hood, the M3 can reach a top speed of 207 mph - up from the standard 180 mph.
Are there any other changes?
Not many, but yes! G-Power is also updating the exterior look a little bit too. The standard engine hood was replaced by the tuner’s famous Venturi carbon fiber hood that offers a better ventilation for the engine compartment.
There is also a carbon fiber rear wing and a carbon spoiler that help improving the aerodynamics.
G-Power is also offering its customers the possibility to opt for its famous Hurricane RR or Hurricane RS forged wheels, sized either 20″ at the front and 21″ at the back or 21″ all around. For the last option though customers will also have to opt for the V4 coilover suspension that will lower the car’s ride by 15 to 40 mm.
