800 horsepower and an aggressive exterior look completely transformed the DBX
by Alina Moore, onThe DBX is the first luxury SUV offered by Aston Martin. But, despite its price - about $180k, the DBX is not really a powerful SUV. It offers indeed an impressive amount of luxury features for the interior, but both the powertrain and the exterior looks could use some improvement. And this is where Mansory comes into the picture!

What changes were made under the hood?
In standard form, the Aston Martin DBX is powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 engine that delivers a total of 545 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Mansory however came with a long list of updates that will further increase the final output of the DBX.
These changes will include a new engine management system, new and larger turbochargers, a sports air filter, and a high-performance sports exhaust system - offered in two versions, depending on the customer’s wishes.
All these changes increased the final output to 800 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque.
With the extra 255 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, the Mansory DBX goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds (down from 4.5 seconds) and up to a top speed of 325 km/h (201 mph) - up from the DBX’s standard 181 mph.
How about the exterior and the interior?
When it comes to the exterior look, Mansory worked to optimize the SUV’s aerodynamics, increase its downforce, and improve its cornering performance.
Up front, the DBX received a new apron with an integrated carbon-fiber front lip.
The engine hood is also new and features additional cooling air outlets in visible carbon.
For the rear, the widebody kit includes a new spoiler and a matching roof spoiler - both made in carbon fiber. A new rear apron with diffuser skilfully sets off the striking tailpipes of the sports exhaust system.
And, finally, the look is completed with a series of new carbon fiber elements like the trim strips, mirror housings and air intakes, and various elements painted in a cool "Lime Green" finish.
The Mansory DBX rides on a new set of DX.5 wheels, measuring 0x24 inch at the front and 12.5x24 inch at the rear, and wrapped in matching 295/30R24 and 355/25R24 tires.
The interior features the same black color combined with Lime green contrasting elements: the floor mats, the seats, the center console, the decorative stitching on the dashboard and the sports airbag steering wheel are all finished in this cool color.
