The Gladiator-based truck comes with 40-inch tires, a V-8 engine under the hood, and a starting price of $150,000!
by Sidd Dhimaan, onThere’s no way 6x6 trucks can sneak away without catching any attention. There are quite a few aftermarket 6x6 creations like the VelociRaptor and the Mammoth by Hennessey, Gladiator by So-Flo, and some 6x6s that are built from the scratch, like the Rezvani Hercules. While Rezvani may have taken a different approach, a company called Apocalypse Manufacturing has developed a 6x6 based on the Jeep Gladiator called the Hellfire. Apart from the six-wheel-drive layout, it comes with massive tires, an active suspension system, and a cabin filled with modern tech features. The asking price for this beast runs into six digits.

What Makes It Special?
This brute looks devious on the outside. It comes with quarter-inch thick steel bumpers in the front and back. The one in the front has a 9,500-pound winch mounted on it, whereas the rear bumper comes with a hitch that can take a load of up to 12,000 pounds. The LED headlights feature a color-changing Halo ring. It rides on huge 40-inch tires wrapped around copper-colored wheels. The company has also equipped it with door-activated power running boards.
The eight-foot truck bed features a carrier for the spare tire along with a roll bar. Apocalypse has also said that the roof and doors are completely removable.
On the inside, the Hellfire 6x6 comes with a luxurious, marine-grade, hand-stitched cabin. Apocalypse has offered modern features like push-button start, rear-view camera, Bluetooth, navigation, etc. as standard. A premium audio system with Apple CarPlay is also standard. There’s also a six-switch, high-output LED light control cluster in here. For the rear-view camera, there is a full-time display which is more of a necessity than a feature given how big this truck is.
Under the hood of this Hellfire truck is a 6.2-liter, LS3 V-8 engine that makes 500 horses and 472 pound-feet of torque.
Power is sent to four wheels as standard, but drivers can choose to send them to all the six wheels, too. It is mated to an eight-speed high-performance automatic gearbox. Apocalypse has also equipped an active suspension for maximum articulation and handling. For extra moolah, you can have it with Mopar’s 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 Hellcat, too.
Conclusion
Apocalypse has put a starting sticker price of $150,000 for this build. The company notes that the Hellfire 6x6 is on display at the Aventura Mall in Florida for the next couple of months at the time of writing this article, but can be test driven at Apocalypse’s dealership in Fort Lauderdale.
