From the outrageous styling, to the thumping V-12 powerplant, to the breathtaking performance, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is anything but boring. But that’s not stopping one lucky owner from turning the volume knob up to 11 on their Raging Bull. Say hello to the SC18 Alston, which comes with race-spec aero and a track-ready attitude to set it apart from its more “standard” brethren. And although it’s designed for track use, the SC18 Alston is still road-legal, bringing the best of both worlds into wing-tastic harmony.

An Aventador With More Vents To Adore
Designed with input from the Centro Stile Lamborghini customization center, the SC18 Alston’s highlight feature is its “extreme aerodynamics” setup, which is totally unique to the model.
Let’s start in front, where we find a new fascia beset with fresh intakes taken from the Huracan GT3 EVO. The sharp headlight housings keep their Aventador shape and look good with the blade-like nose. You’ll also notice that the ride height isn’t particularly road-friendly, hovering above the ground with just 109 mm (4.3 inches) of ground clearance.
Moving to the side, we see the profile takes after the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO. The corners come stuffed by 20-inch wheels in front and 21-inch wheels in back, both of which feature a racing-style single-nut locking mechanism.
However, the biggest upgrade is in the rear, where the SC18 Alston gains an enormous carbon fiber wing, plus a variety of mechanical adjustments for variable levels of rear downforce.
There’s also a set of 12 vents on the rear engine cover (one for each cylinder) to help keep the powerplant running at optimal temperatures, a feature that was tested in endurance racing for proven high levels of heat dissipation.
And don’t forget the new exhaust system to make the happy sounds.
The gorgeous carbon fiber exterior panels come slathered in a shade dubbed Grigio Daytona and includes red screen-printing for the trim and racing numbers.
Inside, the cockpit is covered in Nero Ade Alcantara upholstery with Rosso Alala cross-stitching. The bucket seats are made from carbon fiber, and there’s an onboard telemetry system to help the pilot refine their lap times.
The Lamborghini SC18 Alston is based on the Aventador SVJ, and as such, it once again comes with a lightweight carbon fiber chassis. That said, Lambo points out this model comes with even less weight than the standard model, although the manufacturer declines to provide specifics. Traction once again comes courtesy of Pirelli, this time with its P Zero Corsa rubber wrapping the plus-sized wheels.
Unburdened by motorsport regulation, the SC18 Alston make loads of power thanks to the Aventador’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 powerplant.
Output levels are rated at a standard 770 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm (531 pound-feet) of torque at 6,750 rpm. The transmission is an Independent Shifting Rod seven-speed automatic gearbox. The connection to the pavement is made by a high-spec AWD system, with the run to 60 mph completed in 2.8 seconds and top speed clocking in at 210 mph.
You’ll notice the SC18 Alston’s top speed is a bit under that of the standard Aventador SVJ, which is no doubt a product of the extra drag created by that gigantic rear wing.
Lambo declined to give any info on pricing, but considering the standard Aventador SVJ starts at a whopping $517,770, you can bet this bespoke supercar wasn’t cheap.
We’re loving the new aero outside, and think it brings the already outrageous Aventador SVJ to an all-new level of awesomeness. We’d also love to get an ear-full of that custom exhaust system. And although it’s rather pricey, we hope the owner decides to stretch the SC18 Alston’s legs on a proper track at least once!

Lamborghini Squadra Corse unveils the SC18, the first one-off in the history of the Sant’ Agata Bolognese motorsport division. The unique example, designed in synergy with the customer and Centro Stile Lamborghini, is road approved but designed primarily for use on the track. The SC18 paves the way to further personalized development projects for motorsport customers under the Squadra Corse brand.
The car features extreme aerodynamics, developed specifically for this model and derived from Squadra Corse’s experience in competition. The racing elements start from the front hood, with air intakes in the style of the Huracán GT3 EVO; the sides and rear feature fenders, fins and airscoops are inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. The aerodynamic system is completed by a large carbon fiber wing with three mechanical adjustments, able to generate the optimal downforce on any circuit. In addition, the twelve air intakes formed on the rear hood - a solution already tested successfully in endurance races - increase heat exchange and improve the cooling of the V12 engine.
The powertrain is top-of-the-line Lamborghini, delivering the performance of a true racing car: the aspirated 6498 cm3 V12 delivers 770 hp at 8,500 rpm and a torque of 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm, all handled via the ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) optimized seven-speed gearbox. The huge power is combined with reduced weight thanks to the use of ultralight materials and the new carbon fiber body, with ground clearance of just 109 mm. The rear is characterized by the specific exhausts and terminals with a unique design and sound.
The exclusiveness of the SC18 is underlined by the color of the carbon fiber body in the Grigio Daytona (grey), with visible details and red screen-printing to enhance its sportiness. The cockpit features interiors in Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with cross-stitching in Rosso Alala (red), and carbon fiber bucket seats. The look is completed by the single nut wheels, 20” on the front and 21” on the rear, with specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and a telemetry system to measure all aspects of performance on the track.
