It Looks Like BMW Is Developing A Special M Car That Will Debut In 2022

Next year is the BMW M division’s 50th anniversary, and we could have a limited-production special car to commemorate the milestone

BMW and BMW M are gearing up for a busy 2022. Amidst all this, there are reports that the M division is planning for a special vehicle to commemorate the performance arm’s 50th anniversary

The report comes from g80.bimmerpost. A user on the forum stated that a “very special limited edition M4 will be produced for just a few months. starting November 2022.”

For a milestone this big, it seems unlikely that BMW will roll out just a special edition of an M4

There are speculations of it being an 8 Series coupe, an electric M1 successor, the Jahre series, and whatnot. The M8 CSL is ruled out because BMW canceled it

However, we do know that the cars will wear a special badge inspired by the classic logo. The classic logo had semicircles in blue, red, and violet shades. The logo will be used on the front, rear, and the wheel hubs

We’ll have to wait and watch what this special model will be. Do you have any thoughts or speculations on this? Swipe up to read the full article and let us know your thoughts in the comments section
