The Chevrolet Corvette has established itself as the definitive American sports car. Eight generations later, the car’s legacy is running strong and we have been lucky enough to have gotten many cool versions of the “Vette”. But some people have their own version of the perfect Corvette and Richard Smith, who was a GM technician, went to great lengths to build his vision of the perfect 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. This is the story of a 1968 Corvette named “the Beast”.

Most of the speculations prior to the launch of the C8 Corvette Z06 were based on the C8.R race car, especially about the 5.5-liter V-8. The leaks sure helped, but it the C8.R race car was used as a benchmark. Now, the automaker has decided to replace the C8.R with the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. What makes this even special is that you will be able to purchase it. We’ve seen automakers like Porsche and BMW do this, but not Chevy.

Chevy shocked the world when the eighth-generation (C8) Corvette switched to a mid-engine layout. It naturally came with some criticism, but for the most part it was well received. Fast forward a couple of years, and Chevy stayed true to tradition by releasing an all-new C8 Corvette Z06, but how much does the new Z06 really stick to tradition? Well, it doesn’t feature forced induction, but it is supercar fast and it comes as a strong proposition to cars like the Ferrari F8 that cost more than double, and it kind of sticks it to Ford and its overpriced, heritage-proud GT. Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new 2023 Chevy C8 Corvette Z06.

With the 2021 model year, the Tahoe received a generational upgrade that included the addition of a few more trims and various improvements inside and out. For the upcoming 2022 model year, Chevrolet has updated the already well-equipped Tahoe with newer colors, advanced features, and some other goodies. The 2022 Tahoe competes with the likes of the 2022 Ford Expedition (starting MSRP: $53,000 est.) and the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer (starting MSRP: $59,995). With an expected starting price of around $52,000, is this the full-size SUV the one you should consider? Let’s dig deeper.

Chevrolet debuted the twelfth-gen of the Suburban in December 2019. The SUV came out looking rejuvenated and reinvigorated. Introduced as the 2021 model year Suburban, the SUV was now based on a new platform, featured a new diesel engine option, and came with a range-topping High Country trim. Chevy even capitalized on space optimization, plonked in a new suspension setup, and turned all the screws in the right direction to make this a complete package.

We recently laid our hands on the 2021 Chevy Suburban in the Premier trim with the Duramax diesel engine. Our example was finished in a black exterior shade and looked exquisite, to say the least. It is definitely one of the best full-size SUVs that you can buy today with a five-digit budget.

With a barrage of mass-produced EVs hitting the scene lately, Chevy’s offering to the segment, the Bolt, was looking more and more expensive by the day. Paying over $40,000 for a small hatch didn’t make much sense when you could get a competent product like Tesla Model 3 for that money. So, for the 2022 model, the automaker introduced some new features and reduced the price by $5,000!

However, to not create a vacuum and let the competition capitalize on it, the Bowtie also introduced a bigger “SUV-like” product called the Bolt EUV. It is priced on par with the outgoing Bolt and happens to be the first Chevy product to be offered with Super Cruise. Is this going to be the next-big-thing for the automaker in the EV market?

With growing competition in the so-called affordable EV segment, Chevy had to make sure its offering, the Bolt, didn’t fade away into oblivion. For the 2022 model year, Chevy has refreshed the Bolt EV and simultaneously introduced an SUV-esque version of it called the Bolt EUV. The Chevy Bolt has been around for quite some time and can be credited with being one of the first mainstream automakers to have a solid EV offering. However, with a growing number of rivals, Chevy had to somehow make the Bolt look like a bang-for-the-buck product and not lose plot to the likes of Tesla.

While the range and the power outputs remain the same, the 2022 Bolt comes with refreshed interior and exterior, more standard kit, and a lower starting price. It definitely looks like a much better package overall.

Chevy quite literally redefined what the Corvette name means when it unveiled the all-new, mid-engined C8 Corvette – a model that was decades in the making. Finally bringing the mid-engine configuration to the Corvette was no easy undertaking, but in the end, the new Corvette looked like a supercar, performed like a high-end sportscar, and created quite a stir in the automotive community thanks to its attractive low price. It seems impossible that a car like the C8 Corvette could retail for less than $60,000, but as promised it does ($59,995 as of the time of this writing). This makes the C8 Corvette come off as a much-cheaper alternative to many exotic cars, so how does it hold up? We spent a week with the 2021 C8 Corvette 3LT with the Z51 performance package to find out.

After unveiling the E-10 electric concept last year, Chevy has now unveiled a 1977 Blazer K5 electric concept for the SEMA show that previews the company’s crate powertrain future. For a company that didn’t seem to be as vested in electrification as other automakers until recently, this is a very big step. Chevrolet Bolt has been around for less than four years, but it is one of the earliest mainstream EVs to have hit the market. The Bolt hasn’t taken the market by storm, but it is an important product for Chevrolet in the EV segment.

The automaker is constantly updating the little EV, and for the 2020 model, it comes with a few more miles in the battery pack. To put things into perspective, it is the best non-Tesla model on sale today in terms of range. The 2020 Chevy Bolt arrived at TopSpeed’s headquarters recently, and here are our impressions about this urban commuter.

The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is awesome in it of itself. With 495 horsepower on tap in the Z51 guise, the 2020 Vette can set a blistering pace, taking only three seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph. So if a 495-horsepower Corvette C8 Z51 is already capable of such speeds, imagine what a 736-horsepower Corvette C8 is capable of when it goes under the tuning ringer.

Extreme Turbo Systems — the name says it all — recently worked on a bone stock Corvette C8 Z51 with the goal of raising its power to supercar levels. The tuning firm even released a video of the Vette C8 strapped to a dyno rig, undergoing serious testing. The video isn’t particularly exciting, but make no mistake about it, this Corvette C8 Z51 isn’t your typical 2020 Corvette. You might even say that this Vette can give the Lamborghini Aventador S a serious run for its money.

The 2020 Callaway SC630 is an upgrade to the Chevrolet Camaro performed by Callaway Cars, an engineering company that’s been offering drivetrain upgrades for Chevrolets since the 1980s. The SC630 package revolves around supercharging the 6.2-liter V-8 offered in the sixth-generation Camaro and it’s available for the LT1, 1SS, and 2SS trims. Although exterior and interior add-ons are minimal, the supercharger increases the engine’s power from 455 to 630 horsepower. The SC630 is thus almost as powerful as the Camaro ZL1,but it comes at a notably more affordable price.
