The current generation X1 was launched back in 2015 and there’s no secret that it was never a very successful car. No wonder that BMW is preparing big updates for the next model set to arrive in 2022. In a recent press release, the company confirmed that the next X1 will be offered with "both a combustion engine and a fully-electric drivetrain."

The model will also receive the same treatment as the recently launched 1-Series and 2-Series: An X1 M35i version that will pretty much replace the usual M version you get with cars like the X3 and the X4.

G-Power is famous for its upgrade kits for the BMW models. As it was to be expected, the new BMW M3 and the M4 with their striking kidney grilles caught the tuner’s attention too and they both received some serious power boost. Both packages - called G3M and G4M - will be available for order starting December 2021.

In the world of modified cars, engine swaps are quite a common practice. And while certain engines are the go-to powertrains for that, there are those that are more unconventional. This YouTube video from AutoTopNL give a good example because it features a BMW E46 M3 with an S85 engine from a BMW E60 M5. But that’s not all it has.

With 617 horsepower under the hood the M8 Convertible is a car many BMW fans dream about. However, the M8 Convertible is also an expensive car: prices start from $142,500 for the base version and from $155,500 for the competition one.

There is also the option to go with the M850i Convertible and pay $109,400. For the extra money, you can go to Manhart and ask for an upgrade. Its latest MH8 700 does just that: takes the M850i and transforms it into a mean looking car, with a lot more power than the M8.

With 503 horsepower under the hood, the BMW X3 M Competition is one of the most powerful compact SUVs out there. Plus that, it is also quite decent looking.

But in true Manhart spirit, there was something about the X3 M Competition that needed to be updated too. The result? MHX3 600! You would think that the 600 stands for the amount of power under the hood, but it is not, as the MHX3 600 in fact delivers a total of 635 horsepower!

Maybe it doesn’t have what it needs to stand up against cars like the Volkswagen Golf R or the Mercedes-AMG A35, but the M135i xDrive is surely trying its best to catch up. After only three years on the market, the compact hot hatch received a series of mechanical updates that will make it even more enjoyable during everyday driving and on the track.

One can say a lot of bad things about the new generation BMW M3, but when it comes to power, everyone should agree that 500 horsepower (more or less) is enough for a sports sedan. But AC Schnitzer thinks there is room for improvement, for final output but also for the M3’s handling and aerodynamics. And, its last tuning package does exactly that: transforms the M3 in the car everyone will want to drive!

German-tuner Manhart Performance has laid its hands on the BMW X6 M Competition and given it a rather radical and unique twist. The company has dropped oodles of forged carbon fiber on it inside and out. It even comes with new wheels, an exhaust system, and a tuned suspension setup. Not to mention, Manhart has also given a power boost to further distinguish it from the standard X6 M. The price is not revealed, but the MHX6 700 WB isn’t going to be cheap by any means.

BMW started to work on the new M4 GT3 pretty much in the same time with the new generation M4. But the race car went to its own process of development and testing. It all started back in 2019 with CFD computer simulations and continued in July, 2020 with the first real testing at BMW’s plant in Dingolfing. From there, lots of testing was made on race tracks around the world. After each testing the car was further optimized to make it ready for its racing career.

Finally, on June 26th, 2021 the M4 GT3 made its first race debut at season’s Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) and from there will be heading to BMW M Motorsport teams for the 2022 racing season.

The M4 GT3 is priced at $530,000. An additional Competition Package adds another $55,000. The car can be raced in the GT Daytona and GT Daytona Pro classes of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

For better or worse (definitely worse), it seems that old-school performance cars with driver engagement in mind will be built by boutique manufacturers and in very small numbers. Although we occasionally get cars like the Toyota GR86 and Nissan Z, modern cars keep getting heavier, more complicated, and more artificial. With that being said, Smith Vehicle Engineering (SVE) has taken a BMW Z4 E86 and has done something remarkable with it.

BMW just admitted that it could have done better with the iX3 by updating it for the 2022 model year. As you’d expect for a model that hit the market a little over one year ago, the iX3 doesn’t see anything major, but there are some noteworthy appearance changes. The front end, for example, now features a larger grille and the headlights are now just a bit slimmed – 10 mm, to be exact. The front apron was restyled while the rear end is now more muscular and features 3D taillights. The 2022 iX3 also comes standard with the M Sport package. While 19-inch wheels come as standard, you can opt for the M aerodynamic 20-inch wheels, too.

On the inside, you’ll find a new 12.3-inch instrument cluster and an enlarged control display. The sports seats can be had in a new Sensatec perforated upholstery that’s combined with an Aluminum Rhombicle dark contrasting finish. Motivation is derived from an electric powertrain that’s good for 286 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. 0-60 mph comes in as little as 6.8 seconds while top speed is limited to just 112 mph. As far as the range goes, you’ll get 286 miles from a single charge but can add up to 62 miles with 10 minutes of fast charging. There’s no word on pricing yet, but the 2022 BMW iX3 will be shown off in public for the first time at the 2021 Munich Auto Show in September 2021.

The BMW 5 Series has long been one of the brand’s most significant models. With nearly 50 years of history and millions sold, the 5er has enjoyed great success. The current G30 generation was recently updated, so it’s not going away in the next couple of years. That said, we’ve already seen spy footage of the next generation BWM 5 Series, set to debut around 2024. This is what we know so far.

The 2 Series line can be traced back to the old BMW 1 Series from about a decade ago. You see, over time, the 3 Series had grown dimensionally and BMW wanted a machine that was in line with its DNA. So, they turned their attention to the rear-wheel-drive 1 Series hatchback at the time, added some performance bits and a trunk to it. and then there was the BMW 1M.

BMW purists hailed the 1M as one of the all-time greats. It offered a spirited drive that had been missing from the 3 Series for the longest time. The compact dimensions, rear-wheel drive, and stick shift put the driver back in the Ultimate Driving Machine. BMW later repositioned this model as the 2 Series and M2 for the following generation.

BMW recently refreshed a lot of products for the 2022 model year. This even includes the X3M and the X4M models. The exterior tweaks and turns are a standard affair and nothing out of the blue that you wouldn’t expect in a model refresh. But, the most noteworthy improvement here is the new engine tuning that adds extra torque. This results in improved 0-60 mph times. And, what cost do these improvements come at? Well, not a dime as there is no price revision for the 2022 model. Seems a little more attractive now, doesn’t it?

BMW recently updated its lineup for the 2022 model year. Apart from the refreshed existing models, the company also introduced the new M4 Convertible. The M4 Convertible comes with an all-wheel-drive system for the first time and receives power gains as well. The car has even lost its hard top in favor of a lighter, reinforced fabric soft top. Apart from the super long name - 2022 BMW M4 Competition Convertible with M xDrive – nothing else seems to be outrageously annoying.

Quite recently, we talked about the 2022 BMW X3 and what makes it so much better than its predecessor. When we talk about BMW’s compact SUV, we cannot go without talking about its sportier counterpart – the X4. Like its slightly more practical sibling, the 2022 BMW X4 has also undergone numerous improvements, in order to stay up to stay relevant and to keep up with the competitiveness on the SUV market.

BMW is in the process of refreshing its existing lineup and the BMW X3 G20 is among the latest models to receive a facelift. The Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) has undergone numerous revisions, making it more modern and digitalized than before. The BMW X3 is an important model for the brand, which is why they want to make it a more appealing offer through a revised range structure. In addition to the new look, the X3 (and consequently the X4) is sportier and more versatile than ever before.

We have reason to believe that BMW will offer a hardcore, lighter, and potentially more powerful version of the current M4 coupe. Firstly, the previous M4 was further distilled into such a variant and secondly, a set of spyshots sent in by our photographers shows a couple of interesting test mules.

BMW recently revealed a plethora of vehicles as part of the 2022 model refresh. One of them included the X3 M Competition. The German revealed the M models for the X3 and the X4 a couple of years back and have now refreshed it for the 2022 model year. It comes with nips and tucks on the inside and outside. Apart from this, the SUV also comes with a slight bump in the torque figures that results in quicker 0-60 mph times. Overall, not bad for what is essentially just a refresh.

Just like ABT Sportsline is to Audi, Manhart is to BMW. The German aftermarket company is known to customize Bimmers quite tastefully. They look quite different from the stock models, but nothing too extravagant. Their latest build is a testimony to that. Manhart has come up with its own version of the 2021 BMW M3 Competition called the MH3 600. The car comes with a black-and-gold combination on the outside that looks swell. But, it’s not just this. It also makes over 100 horses more and features a different suspension setup and exhaust system.

BMW’s gamble to come up with the 4 Series Gran Coupe paid. The company introduced it in 2014 to fill the vacuum between the 3 Series and the 5 Series. Given the vast lineup of both these models, no one really felt a need for a vehicle in between. But, as they say, it was something we didn’t know we need.

Fast forward to the present day, BMW has launched the second-gen of the 4 Series Gran Coupe. Apart from the little tweaks and enhancements in all departments, the biggest add-on to the 2022 4 Series Gran Coupe is the extra pair of doors that makes it all the more practical. Like it any better now?
