Toyota Avalon is entering the 2022 model year with just a few minor updates across the lineup. The biggest addition is the new XSE Hybrid Nightshade Edition offered for the first time. As a result, the 2022 Avalon will be offered in six configurations with the option of two different powertrains: XLE, Limited, Touring, XLE Hybrid, XSE Hybrid Nightshade and Limited Hybrid. Prices will range from $36,375 for the XLE version to $43,075 for the Touring version. The new XSE Hybrid Nightshade Edition will be priced at $40,700.

The Camry is in its eighth generation and is one of Toyota’s best-selling cars outside of the RAV4. The Camry went through a major update for the 2021 model year, but little has changed for 2022. Engine options include your choice of a four-cylinder and a V-6, with the latter offering up 301 horsepower, and there’s an optional AWD system.

Japanese sports cars from the 1990s are some of the most recognized ones amongst the car culture. The RAV4 was presented for the first time back in 1996, and since then it has been one of the most successful compact crossovers on the U.S. market. Now, for its 25th anniversary, Toyota is celebrating this huge success by adding a new trim level to the 2022 lineup. Next to that, the entire 2022 RAV4 lineup will receive both exterior and interior updates.

Toyota introduced the new, third-gen 2022 Tundra a couple of months back. The third-gen truck was due for a long as the second-gen model was in production for 14 years. The company tweaked it many times in its run, but it started to feel too long in the tooth when compared to its chief rivals. The highlight of the new Tundra are its drivetrain options. The company ditched the old V-8 workhorse in favor of a V-6 that is offered in three configurations. Apart from this, it rides on a new platform and features a new suspension setup, has a sharper exterior, and comes with a tech-heavy, updated interior. It starts at nearly $36,000; up by over $1,500 over the model it replaces.

The new generation Toyota Tundra made a huge impression when it was launched in September 2021, so it was to be expected for it to be one of the stars of this year’s SEMA Show. One of the coolest concepts based on the new generation Tundra comes from Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and is called TRD Desert Chase Tundra.

So, it was to be expected to see that Toyota is doing its best to further improve the model and come with more ways to attract more customers. Its latest attempt is called "RAV4 Adventure" and, according to Toyota, it "reinforces the model’s “go anywhere” spirit with stand-out rugged styling that’s ready for life in the great outdoors."

Until recently the name "Corolla" made you think about Toyota’s compact sedan that is giving the Honda Civic a lot of headaches. Well, as of June, 2021 Toyota added a new version to the Corolla lineup: a compact crossover that will go after cars like Kia Seltos or Subaru Crosstrek.

The 2022 Corolla Cross will go on sale in October, 2021 and prices will range from $22,195 to $27,625, depending on the trim level and driveline.

Entering its second generation, the GR 86 has uplifting expectations as a coupe, and carries forward quite a few elements which make it stick to “the roots”. And that, we all know that the GR 86 shares a lot of DNA with the Subaru BRZ, including the same chassis and the engine, but some would argue that the former is lighter and manageable in most conditions. For the 2022 model year, the 86 features a flat-four engine layout but the size has gone up to 2.4-liter and it is still naturally aspirated. The new 86 is offered with your choice of a manual or automatic transmission. Apart from the mechanics, the coupe comes loaded with tech and the cabin gets significant updates to give that new-car feeling. The Gazoo Racing team has put up a big effort to make the GR 86 stand out in the crowd and and it’s fairly affordable for what it offers.

After 14 years of the 200 Series, Toyota debuted the Land Cruiser 300, which happens to be the iconic SUV’s 13th generation. The automaker will most likely not bring it to the U.S. Instead we might get the LX instead, the Lexus equivalent of this model. The 13th generation Land Cruiser 300 Series rides on a new platform and comes with two V-6 engine options. It looks different on the inside and outside, too. Should Toyota have tried this new-gen Land Cruiser in the U.S. for a year before pulling out?

The A91 Toyota Supra has been the center of controversy ever since early 2020, when Toyota announced that the 2021 model would benefit from more power and better engineering. It got even worse when it was announced that Europeans wouldn’t get the updated 2021 model, while Toyota announced its [justification for improving the Supra its second year->art188439 on the market, despite the shaft it gave first-year buyers. Beyond this, however, the Supra has proven itself to be worthy of the Supra name, and the latest addition to the 2022 lineup gives it the carbon-fiber look that it deserves. This is the 2022 Toyota Supra A91-CF (Carbon Fiber) Edition, but don’t get too excited yet because it’s a North American affair, and its production is limited.
